Adoption Thread: Character Names

I think this is a wonderful idea! biggrin I've seen other people try and start threads like these in the public writers forum but they always get moved because (apparently) they don't belong there. For a "Writer's Forum" its pretty useless to actual writers. *head-shake*

Anyway, my biggest problem has always been naming the not quite so important second and third tier characters. Ya know, the ones that are just there for support, fodder, props, maguffins, etc. Yeah, those are the ones that go unnamed the most we me. I have always though it would be nice to just have a list that you could close your eyes, point your finger at and pick a name from!

Now, to contribute something to this list...

Fantasy Style Names:
* Haras
* Iaoneh
* Lavard
* Marram
* Maiarn

"Normal" Sounding Names:
* Miriam Kalffman
* Melany LeCrow
* Andrea Litchman
* Jeremy Rook
* Andrew Chorne

Feel free to use any of these names. ^^

I like adoption threads. I think they can help you out with a spark of inspiration, not just for a character but for a whole story. If this thread turns out to be useful for people, we can add some more like title adoption, line of dialogue adoption, character quirk adoption and so on.
