 These babies are up for grabs! Each one has a different contest for them! Make sure to read the rules! Starting: NOW! Ends: June 1st at 3 pm EST (Even if i am away it will still end at this time, NO EXCEPTIONS!) Rules 1. Make sure you read all of the rules and follow all SoA rules! 2. Please we ask you to be active, Don't apply if your just going to use it as sig candy. 3. These cubs may not be cub-napped, run away or hate their parents beyond any reasonable amount. 4. Cubs cannot leave until Adol. 5. Be polite; do not guilt trip people as that is frowned upon. 6. You can enter one time for each cub but keep in mind there is a newbie only contest! ( Three SoA or less ) 7.Remember to read about the family! 8. I have the right to add or change any rules while this contest is under way without announcement.

Family Info  There is 7 cubs in total. Rougelands Father:Zu Owned by pinchmonster Personality: Zu is an over-all gentleman who lost his mother and sisters in a freak accident. It wasn't until recently (before finding Nyota again) that he discovered he has a brother. Kaj won't play a huge role in the cubs life but Zu would give anything for his babies, they only have to ask. He would also do anything for Nyota's well-being. He's a tender, gentle lion who does not seek out trouble but he would assuredly throw down if his family was threatened. Mother:Nyota Owned by Day Dreamer427 Personality: Nyota is a gentle being. She is calm and sweet. She feels everyone is an equal. She is tough underneath the surface. She has always had a motherly type, so having these cubs is a dream come true. Tender and yet a bit over protective due to her own past. She is terrified of rain because that is a main trigger for her reoccuring nightmare. Occansionally she suffers from a reoccuring nightmare (past memory she doesnt remember) : Her mother had a fling while she also had a mate. She believed the cubs were her mates and so she kept them. However, they were not. When the cubs were born the mate noticed they were not his and killed all the cubs... or so he thought. Nyota survived and was unaware of what happened due to her being a new born. She survived by the help of a young female lioness who would bring her food and take care of her, sadly the lioness died from being killed while hunting when Nyota was only a cub almost a juv. Nyota was awaiting in the den that the lioness kept her safe in and she waited for the lioness' return.. A few days passed and she never came...Nyota knew something bad happened...So sadly from that point Nyota knew she was on her own...  History: Gin(Female) found Nyota when she was a young juvenile and Gin was a young Adol. Nyota lost her adoptive mother and Gin taught her how to hunt and fend for herself, and they fell in love. But then they were separated tragically in a stampede. And that left Nyota alone once again, she swore she would never get close to any one again, but then she met a fatherly Lion named Tsu who looked after and taught her its ok let down her wall and let people in. Thats when she was reunited with Zu ( Her cub-hood love) and they fell in love, you can see now the result of that love was ;D. There is a plot in line for Gin and Nyack (Male) to reunite with Nyota and Zu and they will end up staying together as best friends and one big happy family. ( Gin and Nyack are currently applying for a breeding and hope for cubbins soon ). To add to the family! Please note that Gin and Nyack have no blood relation to Nyota and Zu. They will just be raised together like neighbors. Personality: Aminah is a strong willed, confidant and intelligent girl, she wants her family and siblings to recognize her for who she is and not her position in her family. She will not lie if she can avoid it, but she is very capable of bending the truth. She loves her family and awaits growing up so that she can lead one of her own.

Deep in the night, Aminah was snoring lightly in her sleep. She had only been asleep for a few hours, for she had been up playing with her siblings before her father had shooed them off to sleep. Dreaming only of simple things, she was shocked awake by the sounds of her mother’s terrified shrieks. Jerking up and out of the warmth of the mess of fur that was made up of her siblings, she nervously padded over to where her mother was. Her father was there gently soothing her.
“Mommy? What’s wrong? Why are you crying?”, she asked, anxious over her mother’s well-being. This wasn’t the first time that this had happened, and she was pretty sure that there was something going on with her mother that she didn’t know about. She was about to further approach her mother, but she was stopped by her father. “Why don’t you go back to sleep? Mommy will be alright, you’ll see her when you wake up, alright?”, Zu nearly whispered to her, attempting to remain calm both for his mate and for his cub. Animah paused for a moment, considering pushing further, but glancing toward her mother and seeing the clear distress written across her face compelled her to obey her father. She briefly nodded, and turned to lay back down. However, once she returned to her littermates, she couldn’t bring herself to go back to sleep, so instead, she found a corner of their den and waited.
Aminah was mildly irritated, for she felt that everyone treated her like an infant. She was just as strong and intelligent and old as the other cubs. Huffing slightly, she contemplated her family. She loved every single one of them, but sometimes she felt like she was pushed aside by her brothers and sisters, or by whatever was plaguing their mother. She wasn’t stupid, she knew that something was wrong, and she wanted to be of help and comfort to her mother, but she couldn’t do anything if she wasn’t allowed to. Sometimes she wished that she had been born first, so that perhaps everyone would allow her more responsibility.
This itself was reason enough for her to happily anticipate the arrival of Gin and Nyack into her family. She liked them well enough and couldn’t find any reason for them to not become apart of their family. Her parents seemed to enjoy having them around, and whatever made her parents, especially her mother, happy, made her happy. She hoped that perhaps they would treat her the same as her siblings, and perhaps even have cubs. If they have cubs, then there would be others younger than her around, and she would be able to play the part of their big sister and help care for them and teach them things. While Aminah did not necessarily detest being the last born, she wouldn’t mind have younger siblings around.
So lost in her thought, she did not hear her father approach her, “I thought that you would be asleep,” was his mildly reproachful remark to his wide awake daughter. Feeling caught, Aminah lowered her ears back, but defended herself. “I was worried about mommy! No ever tells me anything and I want to help her like you do!” Standing her ground, she hoped that she wouldn’t get into too much trouble for staying up fretting over things her parents had previously deemed her too young for. Zu sighed, and replied, “Aminah, your mother went through some very frightening things when she was a cub, and they still scare her now, why don’t you ask her in the morning? Maybe she’ll tell you this time.” Looking into her father’s eyes, she saw the truth in them, and accepted his answer. Smiling at him for his honesty, she nudged her small head against his chest in affection and apology for not doing as he asked, and trotted over to lay back down with her sisters and brothers who were lost in their own dreams. As she closed her eyes, she thought to herself that she’d try again in the morning, maybe with her father's help this time.

Calm and collected, Mpevu'heri finds herself liking to take an outsider's perspective on life. She likes to believe in stories of the Gods, and the tales that others tell her, finding them fascinating and remembering them, to tell her brothers and sisters. She adores her larger family, and wouldn't trade it for the world. It means that she's loved, and that she's able to at least somehow protect the rest of those she loves so much. A little proud, she walks tall, happy to feel like she's meant to be here in this world.

She'd asked about the nightmares before. Her mother always seemed to wake up screaming, terrifying the young cub into waking. Her fur would stand on end, and she would watch her mother with this calm, worried eyes of hers. Kind of a very absorbed cub, Heri found herself wondering just what her mother dreamed of. The small female had not yet worked up the courage to ask, but had taken to moving closer to her mother when the scream happened, intent on keeping an eye on the elder. She had to make her mother feel protected somehow. Mpevu'heri knew nightmares…..she also knew they were NO fun, what-so-ever. She'd had a few of them, herself. Though they were always ending with something silly and pointless, it didn't mean she understood them any less.
One day, finally she worked up the courage to at least ask her father. Padding over to him on silent, little paws, Heri asked him straight up where Mama's nightmares came from, why they made her so sad. He put it in lighter terms than what it really was. Hell, Heri could tell that much. There was no way that papa was telling her the whole truth about it. He just told her about something bad that had happened to mama as a cub, where she lost the people she loved, and nearly died. Something within Mpevu'heri decided that it was her job to take care of mama, then. Her eyes were thoughtful as she listened to him explained, crossing her paws before her, and laying down. Gods….How was she going to take care of mama? How could you protect someone from what happened in the past?
Honestly, she couldn't think of any way it might happen. Really, there was no possible way for time to reverse, and for her to save mama. So, when daddy was done telling her the story….Heri made a decision. She could feel the hurt for mama, and the worry, so she would make sure mama never felt scared, as much as a cub could. Moving to the older, she wrapped herself around her paws, gently, eyes fluttering shut. This was where she belonged, after all. With her mother. With mama. Laying down in the pile of fuzz that was the rest of her siblings, she sighed happily. There……..Everything was right with the world. And everything would remain right with the world.

Name (and meaning!): Dante- lasting, enduring : Latin.
Username:Lorne_Sionn
Personality: Dante is all about family, his, his mum and dad's friends, the more paws and tails the better. He thrives in the exuberant energy of it all, and is always there to be a sympathetic ear, though what he hears he keeps behind his teeth. He is however, very, very protective of who he considers family. You can mess with him all you want, and he will just brush you off, but don't EVER mess with his family. Dante isn't settled into his life's views just yet, but he tends to approach things with an open mind, trying to understand things from all sides before he make up his mind, not always successful at it however, but brownie points for trying. Over all, you can consider him steadfast, and good humored. Probably the most laid back of all his siblings. Not much ruffles his fur, but once he puts his paws to a path, he sees it through as best he can and then some.
Likes: The sound of rain while he is warm in his family den, playing tag-tail with is siblings, a good story filled with adventure, and his mom's warm purr when she tucks him in. All likes he will carry into his adult life and remember when he is searching for help for his mum.
Dislikes: His mum's fear, getting soaked by the rain, fish ( its just gross), and cheep shots, verbal or physical. All dislikes he will carry into his adult life and not likely to get over. (even the fish)
Fears: Failing his mum, and heights, yeah heights are not happy.

Any plot ideas?::
Don't Look Down! : A cubhood event that involves his siblings and scars him for life, giving him a serious fear of heights, which will work well into his trails when he goes looking for the Gods. (Mountains =Gods: Mountains=Heights: Heights=Oh &*^%)
Dante's Prayer: Knowing since he was very, very, young that his mother has been plagued by these nightmares over and over, Dante wishes to find a way to free her from them. His quest will begin as a juv, sending his prayers to the Gods and befriending a Seer. (Luaith) He will take a more active role once he is an adolescent, setting his paws on a journey to seek out a God/Godess and ask for their help. This can play out a couple of ways, either with him finding a God to help him or being refused, or perhaps indenturing himself to shaman/priest for help for his mother, or even a romance between him and a Goddess.He will also travel to a couple of other Prides looking for hep for her. (Shrine Keepers and Zero's new one are possibilites) Endless possibilities and plotting, but no matter what he will return to his mother and family. (

Personality: (Be Descriptive Family views, life views, overall personality)
Family Views: Themba believes that a family that stays together is the best kind. He would like for the family to be open and honest with each other and be able to rely on anyone in it once the siblings are all old enough. However he understands if his siblings would like to leave when they are old enough, he would like to be able to visit them though if possible.
Life Views: One should live for today and not worry about the future, that would be his main phrase. They should be prepared for later in case something goes wrong, however they should not worry about it constantly. One should live how they want, but they should make smart choices. Just because something may seem like fun or one likes to do it doesn't make it any less dangerous or not have consequences. So overall, live for today, make smart choices, and be prepared, but RELAX!
Overall Personality: Joker, tease, energetic, pouncer, and excellent bug catcher would be just a few of the phrases that would be used to describe Themba. If he can, even in bad moments, he'll try to make people laugh or smile, because others shouldn't have to worry or stress about anything. A tease because of how he likes to tease his siblings, though only playfully, never meaning the actual words that he says. Energetic and a pouncer is what his parents would describe him as at least. Even though they may not like it (or at least he thinks that they don't) suprising them when they least expect it is just too much fun! And a bug catcher, which he gives as "presents" to his siblings. He practices all the time if he can, hoping to be a great hunter when he finally is an adult.
Likes: His family, honesty, hunting
Dislikes: Deception, sitting around
Fears: Pools of water at night time, Black birds
Extra: He would definitely stay in the family till he is an adult, however he might go off to live on his own, but he would still be close to his parents (if nothing has changed since then).
Any plot ideas?: I'm not sure what the personalities of the other cubs are like so I'm just going to generalize for them at least.
1. At perhaps juv stage, he believes that one of his siblings has done something mean or perhaps he thinks that they have lied to him in some way, because he had never expected it from them and it would be quite a shock. So the rp would be more like his feelings of betrayal and stuff between him and the family.
And that's all I can think of plotwise right now. I am however open to ideas (if I get it >_< ).
