At the brink of sun passing over the craters walls, it was time for him to go back inside the huge mass of pride. Slowly walking with his head minorly high as his chin was up. Letting his eyes adjust from the night in to the sun. Stalking as if he hadn't slept in days and that was true. Training Katapatan in assassinations on top of taking care or cow and then on top of taking extra care of Nyoka's daughter whom he also had to take under his wing as the boss wanted her to know these things for the future. He knew his protégée was always about the entertainers and today he was going to pick her out and make sure she didn't embaress him with her lack of knowledge of their trade. He took his 'seat' at a rock nearest to the entertainers territory. Eyeing the inside as he expected she would be there. Sometimes he wondered why but those were short lived. N'gmobe needed him, the sooner training gets done, the easier of a life they would have. STARRING down the den.. Ears pinned back and rather annoyed looking. Ready to pounce in some ways as he lowered his body, hearing someone come out. Little did she know, that she wasn't around the dens at all. Thats for not checking in with the Boss lady, or he wouldn't even be here. Nope, he didn't know- the lack of knowledge- was expecting the girl to come out attached to the hip to an entertainer. Casual talking or laughing. This will also get her back for invading his privacy with N'gombe.

Tabia stepped lightly from the Entertainer's denning area, a far away look in her khol lined eyes as she thought about her tryst later tonight with her dark lover. The merchant invaded her thoughts at every turn, and she could not help but smile at the memory of his body pressed against hers, or the soft, husky sound of his voice. He had been something she had never expected, something that she'd thought she'd purged from her heart...the hope of love.
She was, after all, a Entertainer, well on her way to becoming a Geisha. It was not for them, love...not for them to seek or desire. They belonged to everyone and no one at the same time, to harbor such feelings only brought disaster to those you loved, and to yourself...yet when she had asked him, whispered her fear into his dark fur...he'd said he loved her no matter whom she had to be with, no matter what she had to do. It was a job, and while her body my not be her's, her heart was...and she had given it to him freely.
With these thoughts in mind, she stepped from the den, her golden eyes catching a glimpse of black. Thinking it was him, she turned to face the other feline, a inviting, seductive smile on her muzzle, till she saw who it was. All color drained from her fur, and she stopped, standing stalk still.
Noir....

When the figure stepped out he almost immediately jumped in to the air to land on the ground then force himself up to tackle his prey but once he saw that his prey did not have a tag along... the one he WAS looking for. He landed, and merely got up, displaying almost all his muscles as he did so. Highening his body as he moved his head side ways, tilting it slightly. "Are you alone." He spoke direct with no variant.

Tabia thought about bolting, wondering if she could make it to her lover's den before he caught her, her mind wild with panic for a breath...then her training took over. A sudden calm descended on her, and she shifted her weight so she was perfectly balanced, her golden eyes watching his shoulders, not his face, as that would be where his movement was projected before it gleamed in his eyes. When she answered, her voice was as calm, as emotionless as his was, her chin lifting a little, “ I am.”

"Then your no use to me." He huffed a bit and moved past her, almost on one sweep motion as he slid past her faster than most leopards. Swifting past her with just a breath apart as he stood now, a step longer behind her. Eyeing the dens and sniffing softly. Turning his head slightly but not facing. Thinking if she had some use after all but he didn't think it. Not right now anyways as he didn't even much flinch with her being there. Looking in to the dens. Maybe, just maybe she knew where that runt was and when he got his paws on her... He was about to ask but thought about it entirely too long.

As he moved passed her, she tensed for an instant, her ears laying back as she shifted her weight. Tabia wasn't about to let him get the drop and her and be caught flat footed. Striking with surprising speed, she hit him with the full force of her pivoted weight behind his ears, hoping to stun him long enough to get out of the trap the Entertainer Dens were and flee for open ground where she had half a chance as long as he didn't pin her with his greater weight. Her snarl echoed in the caves as she hissed back at him before she spun and dashed toward the opening, hoping to gain the center of the Pride's grounds before he caught her.
“ The Boss Lady may not have a use for me Noir, but I am not ready to die just yet....”

When she hit him, he whipped around and tilted his head. A smirk on his face as she was not about to push him. Was she playing? He laughed straight out- and more wholesome and shook his head. Pretty much laughing AT her. Then it subsided after a few and he looked at her. Intrigued, was this Kata's little game to throw him off her trail? Until he was met with the words she said. His face forward, taking the smirk off his face and took a step towards the girl whom had backed off from him.
"Hmmm... so you have grief with the boss lady." He chuckled him then met her evil gaze with a sly one. Naturally not the talkive type. She seemed to have brought it upon herself..
"Do I..hear a hint of a traitor?" He took another step forward. Playing with fire.. playing with fire.. Noir was not one to condon misloyalty byt any means but it was the first he had heard of a hit within their own pride. It surprised him, and definately would have been told if their was one.. Paranoid? Only traitors were. So he decided to play with her a little, see if she was or too scared of him to say.

Tabia lifted her chin more, and kept her back to the opening of the den, if he came between it and her, her only recourse would be to flee deeper into the Entertainer's Dens. His words made her ears lay flat, and her voice was even, a dangerous tone in it, one to match his own. She knew he was toying with her now, and that made her understand he hadn't been sent to kill her. It also meant he may have no idea about her and the dark merchant she had come to love....but then again, he loved to didn't he? If there was one thing being friends with the princess gained, it was information. She could us it now.
“ I have no grief with our Queen, and I gave my blood oath to the Pride. There is no traitor here, my only crime is that I have found someone to love...and the Boss Lady finds that love inconvenient, but then you should know about inconvenient love Bugie...no...my mistake...Noir. Isn't that what she calls you, the elegant cheetah who is your prisoner? The one who our Queen desires to see gone from your side? How long do you thing she will hold the order Noir, and when she gives it...will it be your paw that takes your precious N'gombe's life while she watches you with those trusting, moon lite eyes?” Tabia's voice was low, the tone almost mocking, the thread of real anger woven into it. Anger at being punished for something that was not in her control, and for her loyalty being questioned when all who knew her knew that the Pride was her life.

His ears went forward as to hear her. A mocking so to say. "The hit was well established. I'm just not the one you should be worrying about darlin'." Huffing some til she hit the parts about N'gombe..His fur was noticably bristle as he stpped forward, "Who told you of her." He sneered.. Bugie? He had naught known such with the name but had heard many others confuse them. Liable to have probably keep missing each other in his mind.. but no. He tightened his paws and dung them in to the ground with a betwitched evil look. "Don't you dare utter her name, you are not worthy!" He couldn't help but feel enraged and even with Kata. That subject wasn't to be brought up, in full force now, pushing off his feet and throwing his weight in to the opposite direction just in case she dodged, but still went for his mid section. Something that moved a lot slower in retrospec according to his training. Baring his fangs as he punged forward. Hate in his eyes- not even realizing that even being mentioned of her would be his only trigger. Blaring his claws out as he lunged from his downward position in to pushing up.

Tabia knew he was about to strike, it was her chance. As he came forward and to the side, she sprang toward him, head on, rolling at the last minute under him and gaining her feet behind him, whirling to face him, the endless tunnels of the Dens now at her back, with him at the opening. She was trapped, but not yet out of the fight, she had crawled under his fur with her words, and words were her best weapons now.
“ How do I know of her? I have spoken to her when she sneaks out of your den Noir, so many of us have. Didn't you know she is learning to dance from Ajani? That she comes to me to learn how to seduce you...that even your Kata has lead her around the Pride...oh and let us not forget that handsome diplomat she met from the Colony. Did you know he speaks the same language she does? Oh no Noir, you're little prize had left her gilded cage....careful..or she may fly for good, exactly as the Boss Lady wants her too.” Tabia's voice was like silk, the cadence weaving the picture of N'gombe with the rest of the Pride, unknown to Noir.

He watched her as she slid under him. The anger he had that he missed fueled him. The words, yes he was captured by his web only because N'gombe was his only weakness. Blinding him with fury as he striked and turned quickly as to almost predict her movements as he learned her footing. Something that he had learned with countless kills. Pulling forward again, only he turned last minute to grab ahold of her. Not even up for talking as to not further be distracted. Anger was fueling him now and the more she talked, the more he wanted to rip her apart and eat her remains. Digging his claws in to where-ever he got within them. She wouldn't ever.. he thought.. no.. she wouldn't. She was too innocent and beautiful and.. his.. Kata.. when he got his paws on her as well.. She would wish she wasn't alive.

Tabia screamed as his claws ripped into her shoulder, his weight riding her to the ground. Knowing she was dead if he pinned her, the Entertainer twisted at the last moment, her back legs coming up into his soft underbelly, gaining purchase as she pushed with all her might...not at him to get him off, but to use him as leverage to slide out from under him. Her claws dug into fur and muscle, as she shot out. The moment she was clear of his body, she twisted again, the rents in her shoulder sending agony through her as she made a dash for the open. She was bleeding heavily, and knew she had only so much time to escape him. Her dark love would be waiting for her by now, in their trysting place. She had to get to him, to get to cover. It was her only hope....

Her scream made him instantly go in to a trance. Seeing... seeing..N'gombe. Throwing his weight around as he felt her under him finally and pulled his claws in and ripped outward. He could have tore deeper and really injure her but when her small frame was finally under his paws.. He saw her.. N'gombe.. Sneering with a roar as he was about to strike her again but hesitated enough for her to escape him. Tossing his head to each side to get himself to come back to reality.
Did he really want to hurt N'gombe? Striking her a look before he pushed his paws off the ground once again. Making ground as he showed his fangs. Pushing his paws against her to throw her down with his weight once again. Trying- and probably wouldn't stop for a breather as anger was his ultimate power. She was so elegant in the dance of fighting that if he wasn't angry at her- he'd probably admire her for it.. Only if they were on different terms he would grace her maybe with compliments. Striking for her face, with a swipe or two- trying to stop her movements some how.

Tabia kept on the balls of her feet, rolling away from him as if she were dancing, her body brushing his as she evaded his rush, her paw striking out and glancing across his flank as she moved with a silent, precise, grace. As he turned to swipe at her face, she slid sideways, only the very tip of one claw cutting her, the blood staining her fur as she leaped back, but missed her landing. Her golden eyes wide as she realized he had trapped her between the cliff face and his body. Then they hardend, and she lifted her chin with pride. She might die, but she had lasted longer with Noir than most, and her death was not meek. Her dark lover would be proud in his mourning. Looking at the leopard through narrowed eyes she purred at him, dark and sultry, “ Go on then Noir, get it over with, I don't want to be late for my date with Death.”
