Kasi was following someone's paw prints – she just didn't know who's they were. They were larger than her, because she had to pounce to land in them. They were merely whisps in the sand – instead of full paw prints, since the sand covered up tracks quickly, but she could see little marks where the paws had shifted. It was enough to gain her curiosity to follow them.
It was convenient that they were leading her towards the duelling area.
She didn't remember if she had a lesson today with Azar, but she wanted to check to make sure. She'd hate for her teacher to be there and Kasi was not! And even if Azar wasn't there, Kasi figured that she could always watch any of the open duels.
She hoped there were some interesting ones on. Last time she'd visited the area, there had been a few elder pride members who had been playfully fighting, instead of actually fighting. It was so boring. She had ended up leaving before they'd even finished, preferring to be following one of her siblings instead of watching them duel.
Kasi huffed, and pounced on the next whisps of paw prints, tripping a little on her own paws, but quickly recovering before she fell.
Reaching the duelling area, she was disappointed to see that Azar was not waiting nearby - ready to teach her more skills. So she didn't have a lesson today, she thought with a pout, and a quick glance at the area showed that no one was even duelling.
"This sucks," she whined a little to herself. She bounced on her paws a little, waiting to see if anyone would show up to fight, but after moments passed and she was left standing there - bored, she huffed and turned. Fine. She'd go find her own entertainment.
She hesitated. Maybe she could go see if Azar was busy? She shifted, and started towards where her teacher's den was. If she was busy then Kasi would just leave, but if she wasn't then maybe she could get another lesson? Determined, she set off at a quick pace towards the dens.

The teacher wasn't there but she was in the den and she wasn't busy but she was relaxing in the back of the den. However there was something that you would have to get in through before you could get into the den. Kakek was spending his time with his niece mostly because Azar was put in charge of baby sitting Aithne for a while. Aithne you could say way quite a handful that was for sure. If you say Kakek and thought he was a brat, you didn't know the meaning of brat. Sure at times Kakek had his moments where he was playing jokes on others or making rude comments toward some one however that was NOTHING compared to Aithne the rude and rebellious girl who was currently enjoying spending her time fighting with her uncle.
"You really are just a big brat! Kakek growled to other cub as he batted at the female he was trying to be as friendly as possible to her. Aithne wanted to play fight but Kakek just wanted to go find his friend and play. But that didn't seem to be how it was going to go, Aithne refused to let him do anything. She wanted him to stay where he was.
Aithne growled as he tried to walk away again and she laughed before launching forward and pouncing on to the male. "AITH! Kakek snarled as he formed out from under his neice and growled a little more and pulled a paw back and smacked it into her side. "I don't want to play 'fight'!" Kakek snarled again. But at the sound of that Aithne laughed delightfully as she looked at the male "Then why did you hit me! She was happy she was going to win this if she had. Aithne giggled once again as she bounced around the male that was until something caught her eye.
There was a stranger coming in their direction and she wasn't even too sure who it was but Aithne was Aithne and she was going to make a big deal out of that. "Who is that!?" She demanded as she looked at the other female coming in their direction. Kakek turned in the same direction and let out a frustrated growl. She was back to bother him again! He couldn't believe it. "Look if you want we can go play.". He offered to her once again but it was much to late, eally much to late that was for sure. She was bounding toward the female before stopping not to far off with her chest sticking out. "Stop intruder!" She demanded to the lioness angrily.

Kasi knew roughly where her teacher's den was, but her idea was confirmed by the sight of Kakek out-front of it. She frowned. Why did her teacher have to be his mother? Ugh, so unfair. She had to actually interact with the jerk, she huffed.
She almost didn't notice the female moving towards her, but she froze when she noticed her, eyeing her curiously. Who was she? Had she just been...playing, with Kakek? That wasn't fair! He wouldn't even duel her until her mother told him he had to! She frowned at the female. She'd never seen her around before. She froze. Oh! What if Azar had taken on another apprentice? Kasi felt panicked for a moment. What if she hadn't been good enough? No, that couldn't be! Azar would have told her, right?
"I'm not an intruder!" She told her firmly. "I'm here to see Azar." She flicked her glance towards Kakek, and barely - just barely- resisted sticking her tongue out at him.

Aithne was not an intruder but if you had never seen Azar's parents you would never think Aithne was Azar's little sister. But that is what she is. The only thing that was similar other then their eye markings was their firey temper. Aithne's temper was much more quick. She stared at the lioness and then puffed out her chest, she really wasn't happy to see the lioness around here. Why? Well... Aithne wasn't too big of a fan of girls and also because Aithne had problems with a lot of things. Many, many things bothered her and this was one of them. "Yes you are!"
She paused for a moment then looked back at the den then at Kakek who was standing not far behind Aithne. "Why are yo-" The male's voice was interrupted by Aithne's She liked to make her presence known. "What do you want with my sister!? You're a silly intruder!~" The lioness's voice was annoyed and serious. She didn't like the company.
But neither did Kakek. Both of the girls made him angry and he wanted both of them to go away. He growled and bit on Aithne's tail, smirking at her small yelp and then bumping his niece out of the way. "My mom didn't tell me you were going to be here today", the boy stated with an annoyed tone. Why was she here if she wasn't supposed to be taught today, it made no sense to Kakek. "You know she is more then your teacher! She has other things to do He grumbled, not very happy at all. Really not happy because the girl was at his den! This was where he went to NOT be with her! Why did he have to be here? Well at least Aithne wasn't going to bother him.

Kasi scowled at the female. Ugh! Who did she think she was? Kasi was not an intruder! There were no intruders in the pride, since the guards would stop them anyway, and you couldn't intrude when you were part of the pride. She was ridiculous, Kasi decided firmly.
However, she blinked in surprise. Oh. This was Azar's sister? She thought back and knew that the Regents had a new litter not that long ago - sometimes Kasi forgot that Azar was of the royal blood line. She shook her head, refocusing on the female, but didn't get to respond before Kakek starting speaking.
Turning her frown to Kakek, she huffed. "I know that!" She snapped at him. "Don't be an idiot. I was just coming to see if she was busy - if she was, I can go do something else." She didn't' really want to go and do something else, but with this weird girl and Kakek being a jerk, Kasi wasn't sure if she wanted to stick around.
She couldn't believe someone as amazing as Azar was related to people so silly as this girl and Kakek.
"And anyway, your mother doesn't tell you everything, jerk. She might have asked me to come over!" She pointed out firmly.

Kakek frowned at the girl, how dare she come to his house and act like this! He dug his nails in the ground as he stared at her trying to keep his patience as she talked to him. She was so stupid. "I'm not being an idiot! This is my house why are you coming up here talking to me like this!" He growled at her unhappily. He wasn't very happy with her attitude at all. Why was she coming up here and acting like this he didn't understand. He was about to speak again before he felt Aithne bump into his side again.
"Why would she invite some one over like you. You're a silly cub." She huffed as she talked to the other female. You could say at times Aithne forgot about her age, at and times forgot about being polite. And one thing was for sure Aithne had a short temper. She moved forward to the lioness making herself as big as possible. "My sister would have mentioned if some one was coming over you jerk." She half let out a small snarl as she moved forward that was until she felt a n** on her tail she turned around quickly at the feeling. What did Kakek want now!?
"Yeah she might not tell me anything but she would tell me that. Beside why would she want to spend time with you. Today is a day off and she had 10 children that she could be spending her time with today." He grumbled more as he stepped forward. "I think we're a little more important then you." At that point Aithne turned back around "You're just a big jerk too!"

Kasi scowled at Kakek. Gah, he was so stupid! Why did he always turn everything into an argument? So dumb! She was about to yell back soem insult, when the other girl interrupted her - again. So rude.
She frowned at her comment. "Because I'm her apprentice!" Kasi stressed the word for Azar's sister. It probably wasn't a good idea to fight with the Regents daughter, but it wasn't like she was going to be regent...right? Kasi shook off that thought. Kasi hadn't technically been labelled Azar's apprentice, but that's what she was, right? She trained with her all the time and she was learning all she could from the female, so that made her an apprentice. It made sense. "I can come and see her if I want!"
She hunched her shoulders, scowling at Kakek. Oooh, she longed to hit him! She knew that Azar had ten cubs she could spend some time with, but Kasi was interested in her work. Didn't that make it more valuable to spend time with someone who actually wanted to learn unlike Kakek who didn't seem that interested in following his mother's pawprints?
"Yeah, well," she blustered. "You're both jerks!" Not the best insult, but it was true.
She just wanted to leave - get away from their meanness, but her paws wouldn't move and she continued to glare at them, self-conscious that maybe she was intruding and that Azar really had no desire to see her outside of their training hours.

Kakek growled at the lioness's comment. She was so annoying why did she have to come to his house and do things like this!? He didn't understand at all. He just wanted to go back into the den and see his mother and go away from her, but not just that but also leave his home. He didn't like her at his home. He flicked his tail around behind him angrily before he shook his head. "Are you kidding me!? He growled loudly before stomping his paw on the ground and shaking his head. "You're crazy! I'm family that is something much different! Can't you just go away and come back another day!? He stomped his foot on the ground once again before shaking his head.
At this point Aithne was boiling with anger. She always had a short temper and days like this and with other like this it was even worse then normal. She kept looking over at the female and paced back and forth. She normally had a short temper and for her to be going this long with out doing anything was very rare for her. She got angrier and angrier before she finally got closer and charged the female frowning as she did "Yeah well! Before Aithne could even think of what she was going to say next she sprang into the air going to pounce on the other female. Violence was a good way to solve her problems right?
If only the cubs knew of the snake watching them, and now slithering it's way into the den to get Azar.

So he didn't care if she came to see Azar, just it couldn't be today? That was so ridiculous and controlling! What was he doing? Ugh, stupid male! He was changing his mind and contradicting himself. Stupid, stupid. "Why should I come back another day when I'm here now?" She snapped, not noticing Aithne's pacing. Well, she noticed it, but she did not see the importance behind it, unaware of her short temper.
She wasn't unaware for much longer, shocked when the female launched herself at Kasi. Kasi didn't even have time to move backwards before she had hit her, sending Kasi tumbling to the ground.
She kicked out her back legs, trying to hit the female in the stomach or chest to launch her off of her. She had been training for a while with Azar, so she knew some defensive moves - and she'd been play fighting with her siblings for longer.
"Get off me!" She snapped, trying to dislodge the female, completely unaware of the snake that had been watching them.

"Because my mom is busy!" Kakek snapped to the lioness. However it was too late. He watched Aithne fly into the air and he knew that he couldn't be good from here. He knew that actually it got really bad from here. Oh god what was Aithne thinking?! He wasn't even that sure to tell the truth. He knew that this just couldn't end up well. But yet at the same time he found it extremely amusing. He kind of stared for a few moments watching them.
Aithne growled at the lioness fighting back. Why did she had to put up a fight? It just made Aithne even more angry then normal. She didn't like it when anyone fought back against her. It made her frustrated. She just wanted to hurt her more and more the more she struggled. She growlled and bit down on the lioness's ear. "Stop fighting you jerk!" She growled to her not very happy that the Lioness was fighting back. You could say that Aithne would be very interesting when it came to fighting back. She didn't like it when others fought back, she liked it when others just gave up.
Azar was laying down for a afternoon nap when she heard the voice of her helper a snake. Raza was quiet the helper and she was to watch the cubs while Azar Slep however Raza felt this was a good reason to wake the lioness. Azar woke in a bit of a grump. Not that happy that the Lioness had to be woken up. But she chuckled at the sound of snake's story. She pushed herself up and started to head back to where the two lioness were. "Stop you two." She warned firmly as she grabbed Aithne on the back of her scruff pulling her off of the Lioness and putting Aithne to the side.

Kasi wiggled and kicked, trying to dislodge the crazy female. Kasi was no stranger to fighting - she loved to watch duels and play with her siblings, but this wasn't fair! She wasn't ready for this! This stupid female wasn't playing fair and that just was't fair! She growled - frustrated. Stupid, stupid female!
"I said get off me!" She hissed as the female demanded she stopped fighting. Stop fighting? And lose? Never! Kasi was going to win, despite the female's dumb attempt at cheating.
Kasi froze at the sound of a familiar voice. Oh, no...Teacher Azar. Kasi wanted to disappear. Not only had her teacher caught her at a disadvantage in a fight, she'd caught her needlessly fighting with her own sister. This wasn't going to end well.
She was grateful that the elder female had removed Aithne from her, and Kasi bounced to her feet, ears pressed low against her head as she refused to look at Azar, or Kakek. She did shoot Aithne a glare, before staring resultly at a nearby rock.

Finding fiesty young firekin fighting wasn't something uncommon to Azar, she fought constantly when she was younger. To a point she was happy to see the cubs wrestling it out, it reminded her of when she was younger. She chuckled some quietly before flicking her hair out of her tail around holding Aithne in her mouth. She paused for a moment before placing down the young cub next to the other two and sighing as she backed up and flopped down on her haunches looking at the cubs. She still wasn't very sure of what to say to them that was for sure.
"Well." She said sternly at first before she started to giggle some she couldn't help it at all. She found it amusing. She paused and composed herself as she looked at them before giggling and speaking again. "You guys need to learn to get along." She chuckled again before shaking her head, she really did think it was all very amusing.
Kakek was not happy with the two females, why did they have to start fighting? He knew that he got problems at times but he was very grumpy because of this. However as he watched his mother sit down and not scold them or get mad at them. He was a little confused not that sure. Aithne looked at her older sister also very confused, she didn't know what to say. She returned the glare back to the other female before looking at her older sister once again.
"we're sorry mom." He commented simply just wanting this to be over with and everyone go their own ways and pretend that this never happened.

Kasi was beyond confused when Azar didn't immediately tell them off, and instead began to...laugh? She frowned and glanced at her teacher, looking confused, but her fur bristled lightly at the comment - or command ? - that they should all get along.
It wasn't her fault Aithne was being stupid, or that Kakek was a jerk. She had just wanted to see Azar and now Azar probably saw Kasi as irrational and foolish for picking needless fights. Kasi loved to fight, but she never fought for no reason - fighting for no reason was just wasting energy and life. Even playful sparring with her siblings had a purpose, to hone her skills.
Her ears stayed down on her skull and she didn't bother to speak up and say it was Aithne's fault. There was no point pointing the blame at her teacher's sister.
When Kakek attempted to make a group apology, Kasi shot him an annoyed look. He was saying that she was sorry? Ugh, no. "I'm sorry," she spoke up, not wanting Kakek - or anyone - to make her apologies for her. She barely bit back the comment that 'it wasn't my fault though'.

Azar looked at the three cubs and shook her head a little chuckle once again. She smiled at him once again She was happy to see the three cubs, if only they were all going to get along. But at the same time she knew that they weren't at first. She had seen amy lions as cubs not get along and once the got older they ended up getting along. Hwoever she also knew of some who never grew up and got along but that didn't bother Azar too much. she knew that Aithne and Kakek mostly got along and she could tell that Kakek and Kasi well... Were Kakek and Kasi.
She thought this was interesting but she wasn't going to yell at them, she was going to let the cubs be cubs. "Kasi, I heard that you were looking for me. Come" She said simply with a flick of her tail, turning around and looking at Kakek and Aithne. "You two run off for a little." She stated once agian with a little chuckle before she began to trot away.
Aithne right away looked at the other female and scoffed as she walked away. In Aithne's mind the other female really was just bratty but that was Aithne and Aithne was VERY strong on her opinions. Very strong and there was really nothing to change her mind except herself. She paused and then looked at her big sister and nodded before heading off in her own direction. "Come on Kakek." She said stubbornly.
Kakek looked at his mother and then sighed with a nod, before turning away. He didn't like that the other lioness was winning, he didn't like Kasi winning. However he didn't care to a point, or at least that was what he was telling himself. He started to trot in the other direction he was done with this and like that he was off following his aunt.
