Since seeing the male lion newcomer, this female has been infatuated with him. She adores him, and yet he constantly rejects her. She has a very free heart, and so, will she choose to continue chasing after the new male? Or will she set her sights on another, more willing pirate?

Tell me a bit about her. Shes pretty up in the air as far as what she can be. Give me some backstory. Why is she here? Why does she like the male so much? Be creative!

IM ENTERING FOR LIONESS FEMALE!! GIMME PIRATE BOOTY!
Name: Malia
Meaning: Queen (swahili)
Personality: She's fickle and gets bored of the same thing easily, except when it comes to her baksets, she likes the finer things in life and enjoys being 'just' a corsair, most of the time she will try and wheedle her way out of joining the other females in their gathering, simply to stay behind and weave pretty things from grasses and any thin strands of cloth she can find, as well as tease any males within glancing distance. She's fairly well known for her patterned baskets. She likes the males, and she likes the attention they give her but usually she requires them to find her trinkets and cloths in return for her company. She's been with the pirates for a long time and is well established as one of the less uptight corsairs in the pride.

Prompt Response:
The first thing that came to Malia's mind when she spotted the new male was "PINK" ... he had such a beautiful shade of pink in his mane, and his eyes, when he glanced past her she couldn't contain her excitement. No one in the pirates knew this but Pink was pretty much her favorite color but there was so little of it around, it was never really an issue. Now, she didn't like just any sort of pink.. oh no .. this newcomer's mane was absolutely perfect, she wanted to take some, weave it into whatever she could.

Ever since he arrived Malia has been striving to get close enough to the male, to convince him to spend a night with her but he seemed immune to her charm, constant rejection like that would crush many females, and would have had Malia turning her back on him and choosing another male to dalliance with, if it wasn't for the fact his mane was JUST the right shade. She'd spent a long time trying to wear him down, to get him to stay with her for a night but he wasn't having any of it.

For many nights Malia plotted and planned to try and get the pink maned male to come to her, she tried everything from offering him baskets, to outright finding him the best food the pride could offer, but she was forced to admit defeat .. at least on the surface, she'd even tried sneaking in to clip some of his mane in the dead of night but he always seemed to know she was coming and was alert. Forced to leave him alone Malia turned to other males, but she plots a day when she can get her paws on the male, and his oh-so-perfectly colored mane, she could make such wonderful things if she could just have some.

Meaning: Sharp Mind in Swahili | Living Shadow in Swahili
Personality: Kali has always been something of a mystery, and you'd be hard pressed to discover any hard facts about him. Some might call him a pathological liar, others might say he's an expert storyteller. While it's true that he has a habit of weaving elaborate tales for the sake of his listeners, all of them do have a root in truth. He is not a lion who enjoys deceiving others, nor does he consider his penchant for telling tall tales deception. After all, he will admit to the truth at some point. Preferably later rather than sooner.

Prompt Response: Even from a young age, Kali always had an undying thirst for adventure. It wasn't uncommon for him to slip away from the watchful eyes of his parents in search of something more exciting than wrestling with his siblings to do, and he was often met with harsh scolding upon his return to his family. He was an expert at blowing his excursions out of proportion, and often captured the attentions of his siblings with stories of near death upon slipping into rivers or winding up on the wrong end of a stampede.

Of course his adventures were not nearly that exciting. The worst he'd do would be to fall in a puddle or trip over a sleeping prey beast, and it didn't take long for his siblings to figure this out. Frustrated by their disbelief, he tried to seek out more dangerous adventures, only to be thwarted by his parents at every turn. Tired of him always slipping off, they made sure to keep a close eye on him and began shadowing him when he did manage to escape them.

With his adventures thwarted until he was old enough to strike out on his own, he began to collect things. A shiny rock here, a perfectly shed feather there, and soon enough he began to wear his trinkets. He didn't think much of it until he began to hear rumors of a group of like-minded lions - ones who sought adventure and amassed valuables simply for the pleasure of having them.

As soon as he hit adulthood he struck out in search of the group, cheating and stealing his way across the savanna. Rumors blossomed quickly through the rogue lands he traversed, of a lion who came in the dead of night and stole you blind. Some rumors were absurd, like his mane had once been white but he had killed enough to stain it pink. Others were a bit more truthful, like his weakness for pretty females.

A weakness that wasn't a problem until he met her.

One look and he was captivated, and he knew in that instant that he simply had to have her. With her beautiful sandy fur and big brown eyes, she would be the crown jewel of his collection. He would make sure she never had to want for anything, whether it be food, or love, or trinkets.

The only problem was she didn't seem to know he even existed. Nothing he did seemed to catch her eye, and every attempt to regale her with tales of his adventures was met with failure. Eventually, frustrated with constant defeat, he decided that he would take her whether she wished him to or not. Surely she could not continue to resist his charms once she was under his command.

And so, with his prize in tow, Kali continued on his way to the Maestros Del Mar.

It didn't take him very long to find the pride, and he was quick to join with the permission of the Commodore. He settled into the role of a Crewman rather easily, and took on the pirate name Haikivuli. Since joining, he has found himself receiving a great deal of attention from a lioness, but he has absolutely no interest in her. He finds her not only visually unappealing, but thinks she's a complete bore in comparison to his crown jewel.
