Welcome to the Ongozana'Ke contest! This is for 6 lions that all have their own story. All information can be found here about the pride - please have a read.

Now for the rules bit:

1. Be nice to each other
2. You can only win one lion but enter for as many as you like
3.These lions must never leave the pride - apart from the male IF he gets battled out - otherwise he can't just up and leave
4. These lions need to be RPed. We need more life in the pride so please don't go after them just for sig pretties!
5. If these lions don't have a joining RP within one month of winning I reserve the right to rehome them
6. I reserve the right to extend this contest if there aren't at least 2 entries for each lion

Once there was a group of lions, not much was known of them other then they wandered around together. A male led them, to where they didn't know? They found travelling in a large group tiresome and so some members started dying, they were weakening and the male knew this to be true.

He took it upon himself to find a pride to join somewhere they could be safe and live happily. There weren't any that he was sure of his female's safety until he met Esti. He met her at the stream that went through her territory. She met with him and they spoke, it was a while before she even mentioned he was on her land and then she explained her pride.

The pride was created to protect females, the males protected them and got fed by them, they all worked together. Even Esti their leader seemed to do more then her fair share of work. After much discussion Esti was lead to meet the remaining five females and then after more talking they all returned to the Ongozana'Ke where they started to settle into their new life.

The big ol' male

This male is joining the pride with his females out of desperation. He needs somewhere for them to live and this is the closest place he has found to keep them safe and any future cubs they may have.

This all however comes at a cost. One day he may loose them. He has spoken to Esti who is for all purposes the leader of the pride. She explained how the pride works and how everyone must pull their weight and they lean on each other for everything. She also explained that males have to fight to keep their place in the pride. This means there may come a day where he won't win that fight.

The Prompt is:

Tell me how this affects him. He knows this is the best place for them but he also knows he will have to fight - literally - to keep them. Describe how he feels/what he does etc.

The Desert Girls

Both of these girls originally came from the desert, that is all that is known of them. Do they even like each other? It's not really known that is completely up to you!

The Dream Sisters

These two are not related but they seem as close as sisters. They are to stay as close sisters. They tend to be a little dreamy always off in the clouds and so got the nickname the dream sisters. Remember this when entering!

Lions name: Ayumu (Walk, dream, vision)
Personality Ayumu is a very wistful lioness who often spends most of her time in the clouds. She has not had very many hard experiances in life due to her parents doting on her to the point of never letting her do anything outside of their den. Ayumu likes to spend most of her time with cubs, usually filling their heads with stories of different worlds and little winged creatures. She is a very kind lioness who will probably never put up a fight. One flaw is that because she was pretty much treated as a princess by her parents, she will at times revert to not doing anything other then what she feels like doing.
Prompt Response:
Ayumu stood at the enterance of the large den the Ongozana'Ke lived in. She had just recently joined the small pride but already she felt like she had been there forever. Honestly, she found herself wondering what life was like before her small group had stumbled upon them. A smile crossed her muzzle. No, she did know what life was like before they had come a long. Each of them had, had different stories on why they had joined the small group in the first place. However, not many new each others stories. As she began to go back to life before the pride she began to dig deeper to when she had met her sister. No, they were not actually sisters, but they shared a bond that was unique and personal to just them.

Back when Ayumu had first joined the small group she had joined because she wanted to explore and find things to inspire her to create more stories to take back to her family. However, once she joined up she discovered that she loved the new family she had found and didn't want to go back to her real one. It was at that point that she began to get to know her dreamy sister. She had obviously had more experiances in life then her, but she didn't know what they were. One day they decided that they would venture off a little further from the small group and Ayumu's sister would help show her how to hunt. Since her parents locked her away in their den and never allowed her to venture out due to not wanting her to be injured or cubnapped; she never learned how to hunt. While they were out they came across a large hippo. Ayumu, not knowing better began to stalk it when her sister was wasn't looking. I want to show her that I am the best hunter that has ever lived. Was all she thought of as she laid quietly behind the large male hippo.

Ayumu saw her chance to pounce on the unfortunate creature. As soon as her teeth hit the back end of the animal she knew that something was wrong. The skin was hard for her teeth to tear into and once they had the large animal began to charge around. Ayumu held on for dear life but after several minutes the hippo was able to throw her off. That was her second mistake. She had allowed herself to let go and not only that, she didn't run. As the large male began to charge after her, she noticed that it's mouth unhinged to an abnormal height. Uh oh. She thought as she began to turn to run. Just as she had started running the large hippo latched it's mouth on her back right leg. Ayumu had screamed out in pain as she tried to claw at the animals face. That was her third mistake. The hippo, even more enraged bit harder into her flesh and broke her leg. She could distinctly remember the pain she felt when it broke, but even more then that she could remember when her sister came to her rescue. Her sister jumped out of the brush and was able to angle herself to where she could bite the under neck of the animal. It wasn't but a few minutes before the animal was dead from loss of blood. As the hippo fell it's teeth unlached from her leg. From that day on Ayumu called her 'Sister' and eventually they just became known as sisters. Still to this day she has a slight limp from the hippo breaking her leg.
