The Stories Never Told Sanguina Cruenta The Stories Never Told Baphomet is an old Babylon deity, I've never heard that before.... where did you read it? It was a History channel special about the history of the Templars. It had a brief little explanation of who he was, and from what I remember, it said Babylon as its origin. Course, this could be wrong.
Unfortunately, History Channel isn't known for its' scholastic accuracy these days. They tend to air things that are entertaining, without really fact-checking.

Sanguina Cruenta whiporwill-o circlelord13 if you think about it, its perfection. balance beetween god and goddess, light and dark, high and low, i mean just look at it, its a great representation of pan, ( goat with erect phallus ) and the goddess, ( the breasts, and white moon ) but pan and baphpmet are two completely separate entities; and which goddess? I think he was just talking about the popular image of Baphomet, rather than Baphomet the supposed entity.
ah, gotcha. sorry, i'm a bit too literal at times. sweatdrop
