Louie's kind of lazy, but I'm kind of willing to take a risk. Edmund would have been the better choice. And no one should try Carl unless they have a death wish.

In the end, my ship and crew looked like this:
Guide: Louie
Ship: Titan
Name of ship: Vengeancinator
Crew: Zanney, Avi, Mongoose, and DM
Loot: Bare minimum (1000)
Basically, this is an Oregon Trail-style game. It's kind of straight forward: you set a pace and what kind of rations you have. The faster the pace, the less time, but more energy and rations you use up. The slower the pace, the less energy and rations used up, but more time. Filling rations mean happier, healthier crew, but more space used. Less filling rations mean a sicker crew, but less space used.
Hunting takes up time and ammo. And luck can influence what kind of events happen.
Use your judgement, and always ford the river take care of your crew.
