Boda had learn a great deal about her grandfather from her mother and the lands he came from she never believed her. No how could she? She had never seen sand before till now as her paw sank into it with each step. She looked around as her eyes tried to bat away the sand that seemed persistent to attack her. She growled at it looking at the dust clouds with a harsh gaze.

"I will not turn back!" She yelled out harshly as she pushed forward managing to get over a dune only to fall once she moved to go down it and miss her footing due to the tricky sand. She tumbled and landed on her side with a loud grunt. She laid there a moment before pushing herself up off the sand and looked around before she started to head closer towards her destination to the Motoujamii-Simo Lands.

"I will find you and I will see with my own eyes if you exists." She said a bit cruelly not believe her mothers stories. Her golden eyes born into the many dunes before her but she was determined and had the will power as well as stubbornness of her mother.

It was impossible for Kibela not to take notice of the female lioness who was treading towards their territory. Not only because her black pelt stood out against the pale sands under the harsh sun, but also because the girl was... quite noisy. Shouting and talking to herself as she was... One ear flicked up a bit as another call reached her ears, a sigh passing her lips as she slowly stood from the sands to tread closer to the girl, with the intent of heading her off and questioning her. She was unwilling to let just anyone into her beloved home.

Unlike the other dark lioness, Kibela had long since adjust to the desert, making use of the shadows cast by towering dunes and brush to slink forward unseen, despite her black pelt. It took only a few moment before she had managed to circle around Boda, finally leaving the shadows to stride forward.

Her voice was soft when she spoke out, but held the promise of pain should the other prove to be a threat, sharp ruby eyes watching her closely. " You are treading close to the Motoujamii-Simo lands, child. I suggest turning back while I still permit you to do so if you have no business in our land. "

Boda looked back with a mixture of fear and anger from the female catching her compeltely open. She quickly turned around to face the female growling slighlty. "I have buisness...I seek a male. One that my mother says exsists but i do not believe her. She says he is large strong and is her father but the things she tells me of him I do not believe." She said shaking her head. "Like I did not believe these lands where real that lions would live in a place like this."

She grumped a little as she watched the female closely. She was a bit larger then herself and she knew it wasn't a good idea to test this female she looked...quite comfortable with her suuroundings. "What is it you eat out here anyway? i've been travling for two days now and I have seen no food and a bare amount of water."

" There is much food to be found for those who know where to hunt. " She hummed out as she studied the girl a moment. She sat slowly, making herself comfortable in the sands, and making sure to keep the younger female in her sights. If she could be believed, then there was nothing nefarious about her purposes here... She could provide a few answers.

" Water is much the same situation. You need only know where to look. Do you have a name for the male you seek? " She asked her with a soft sigh. She was familiar with most of their population, even if they were not familiar with her, constantly on the lookout for trouble. Especially from the older family lines.

"Umm well yeah see i don't know his full name only a part of it." She said as she sat down mirrior the females actions as hear ears rested back against her head slighly. "I'm Boda...that is all I know of his name. my mother thought it would be funny to call me something she treasured most." She said coldly sating at the ground hard as if it was her mothers reflection.

"I know he looks nothing like me save for very few markings and my eyes that I also share with my mother." She said before looking back to the woman. "Do you have children? o you born them with stories...stories that sound like myth's." She said woundering if it was just a mother thing or if her mother had a odd way of torturing her.

Quote:
" I have children, yes... But no. I tell them now tales. " She frowned, studying the female more closely. Boda? With golden eyes? It seems her day was not meant to be a simple one. " I bore children to a male named Bodaway... He has eyes such as yours. " She offered slowly, a frown crossing her lips. " There are similarities. He may be the one you seek. "

Shaking her head, she stood from the sand, moving forward past the other lioness. " Come... There is an oasis near to here, just outside of our boundaries. I will permit you access to it... "

She felt no particular kinship to Bodaway, despite bearing children for him. They were simply not well matched. He was nothing like her Iivari. Still. In some way, she could be connected to the lioness. She could at least grant her water and food, along with bits of information.

She blinked a moment she wasn't not expecting this at all. She felt a bit bad for how she was acting now but pushed it form her mind the chance at water was to great to pass up. "Thank you..." She said before she stood and moved to follow the female to the oasis. Once there Boda was surprised to se such a pretty sight of an oasis. Again it was something her mother had told her but nothing really could put words to its beauty.

Boda moved quickly to the water and began to lap at it a bit greedily before she pulled away from it not wanting to take to much and make her journey unbearable for having a stomach full of water. She dipped her front paws into the water and closed her eyes and relaxed a little.

"It is good to feel water on my fur...I miss it." She said shaking her head before opening her eyes looking to the female. "How did you come to these lands where you born here?" She asked curiously before moving splash a little in the water to cool her black pelt before moving to a rare tree to lay under taking part in its shade.
