Alli told me to think of random nonsense and just make a topic about it so here's my first topic. I finally got a job. I actually got it earlier today and I never really intended telling you people simply because it wasn't too interesting but I need a topic to mingle with you guys. So yes, you guys are looking at the new worker for my local cinamark. I get to sell popcorn, candy, and other movie eating accesories to our valued suckers *cough* I mean customers, what did I say. So to keep this thread somewhat interesting, tell us about your job, or past jobs, or jobs you're trying to apply too. smile See, I'm not that scary... no one talks to me... crying

My local cinnema cleans their restrooms with a mop...
and then they clean their pop corn maker with the very same thing afterwards.

Uh, I work at my local public library. It's a small town, so it has a small library. If this says anything: there's only one librarian working at a time.
Well, either way, I still get freaked out on busy days, because everyone's usually surrounding the counter. >_<
I've been working there for... two years, and I'm going on my third. I've been working their since my Senior year in High School, haha. ^_^
Ah, I'm needing a second job though, which I'm trying to get. The library pay just isn't good enough, especially since I'm taking art schooling from home; takes half of my paycheck away. x_x However, finding a second job is hard to do in this town. If you're not a 'friend' of the manager, then you don't get the job. >_> I have to live too, y'know? classified_fu
I've never worked at a movie theatre; how is it? o:

I've never worked at a movie theatre; how is it? o: Reminds me of the town I used to live in, real small and peaceful and what not. But man, three years? That's rare to hear, espicially from someone right out of high school. for me it is anyway, maybe it's just my friends can't keep a job... lol But I know a lot of people who are trying to get a job in my old state like shell, and like you said, have to be a friend of the manage. You have to be searching for at least a couple months over there before you finally get one xp So the movie theater so far is pretty good from what I've seen, they're training me behind the counter tonight, how to work the cash register, how to refill the popcorn machine, ect... But hey, I got the job, so I'm happy mrgreen

Yeah, I've been searching for over half of a year, and I've still got nothing so far; I'm hoping that will change soon... I seriously need the money.
I'm glad it's going good~! You can tell me later how your training went; I'm not too fond of cashier work, haha, so I just want to know how it is (long, crowded lines of people get me close to hyperventilating). xD I'm happy you got the job too. Soon you'll be making some good money, and that's always a good thing. biggrin

So to keep this thread somewhat interesting, tell us about your job, or past jobs, or jobs you're trying to apply too. smile See, I'm not that scary... no one talks to me... crying awwwh, look at little jeff-fa-fa getting a job in the real world :') Now you get to see free movies like how to see your dragon ;D I'm trying to get a job at redners (you remember where that is right?) and I'm gonna put ag down as a reference and they're even going to train me on the register and everything to make it look like I have experience emotion_dealwithit lmao blaugh exactly! Don't worry, I'll let you know what good movies are in right now wink Good luck at redners if you get the job (crossing my fingers). Then we could watch free movies, and you could bring free snacks! mrgreen exactly! xD But then to that I'd need to come out to texas to watch the movies... and by then the food I bring might be spoiled, smashed, or spoiled D:
