PHASE 1
Nanashi stood before the growing crowd, his mate Janja'nyoka at his side, and his children nearby waiting, though both Emi and Shinobu were absent.
"We have summoned you all here for an important reason," Nanashi spoke coolly, a look of pride lurking behind his eyes as he addressed the entire pride. "Lady Nyoka's and my litter has reached their adulthood - each one in fine health and reflecting strongly the ways of our pride, but this is not the reason we have called you here. Seiji, join me," he encouraged his first born.
Seiji took a steadying breath, careful to keep the nervous gesture from the prying eyes of the people. He stepped up, standing between his parents in front of the pride, jaw tilted and eyes reserved - the picture of the heir he was raised to be.
"Seiji, it is time," Nanashi said, his voice strong but he was hit with a wave of nostalgia, memories of when Seiji was a cub surfacing but he pushed them away.
"It is time to give rise to a new generation of leader," Nanashi continued, stepping back and discretely nudging Seiji forward. "It is with great confidence that I introduce the new Boss of the Kuroi'Nera, our eldest son, Seiji."
Seiji kept his stance firm, remembering to breathe as he nodding his head.
"It is a great honour to lead us into the future," he said simply.
His parents stood behind him slightly, but it was Nanashi who spoke next.
"A smaller announcement now, now that Lady Nyoka and I have stepped down from Boss and Boss Lady, we will be travelling from the pride in order to forge stronger ties with our allies, and as such, we will be absent from the pride until further notice. We have already forged an alliance with the Makini'adhima through the arranged marriage of our son, Shinobu, however it is time to expand our alliances further. We have great faith that our son Seiji will lead you well in this time."
OOC Information:
This is the beginning of the pride-wide metaplot
+ Effective immediately, Janja'Nyoka (Chi Sohma) and Nanashi (Velveteen Angel) have 'retired' from the positions of Boss and Boss Lady - naming Seiji (Velveteen Angel) the next Boss. He will be ruling without a Boss Lady at his side.
+ Also effective immediately, both Nyoka and Nanashi have left the pride to travel to allied prides - they will not be returning until the end of the metaplot.
+ Emi (Chi Sohma), Nanashi and Nyoka's daughter, has left the pride as an ambassador when she was an adolescent and is no longer present in the pride.
+ Shinobu (Zephira73 cool , Nanashi and Nyoka's son, has left the pride to meet his arranged mate within the Makini'adhima colony and will not be returning.
What This Means For You:
Seiji is now ruling the pride on his own. He is a known hybrid sympathiser, which means that the rules regarding the positions of the hybrids in the pride will be less strictly maintained during his rule.
This will cause some bad feelings towards the young Boss from some of the pride (especially those who dislike hybrids).
Hosoku (Daydreamer), Seiji's brother, is against the decision his parents have made with naming Seiji the Boss. He is against hybrids, and dislikes his brother's sympathising ways when it comes to them.
Feel free to roleplay out reactions of Seiji's promotion, or the former Boss/Boss Lady's leaving the pride, or reaction to the idea of a hybrid sympathiser on the throne.

Phase 1: It Begins.
( February to April )
• [ It Begins ] ( For more info ) , The Celebration for the new Heir arrives when Nyoka and Nanashi share a very big secret to the pride. After the party, Nyoka and Nanashi announce that they will be leaving. This is a happy time! Everyone is celebrating and having fun! Cubs get to play outside of dens more often and even start training on the outside at Juvs! Wow! How exciting is that! The pride grows relaxed at this time of great joy... or so it seems.
• CLOSED Rp Auction, Hosoku ( Played by: Day Dreamer427 )'s Right Hand Man. He was in the pride for just a tad bit and already has become a royal!
• OPEN Free for All + Restricted, Two of a Feather. Where a member and a non member have to get together to form a union between these two characters! They came from another mafia pride as gifts.
• OPEN Free for All, The Pawn. You must come up with the back story to this guy! A helper to Hosoku's reigning behind the scenes! He came to the pride as a slave? But Hosoku's right hand promised more..
• OPEN Raffle, The Wtf Why are you here?! A raffle DUH! Start your tickets please! A youthful cheetah that was found and dragged to the pride.. All he knows is that he stole some food and then was knocked out!

Yes, there are some rules you need to know before you get started here.
• Please read [ THE PRIDES'S INFORMATION ] , It's better for you to read this, than to go blind 8D. • HAVE FUN! • No copy-cating someone else's entry. Too similar ( as in identical ) will be contacted and asked to repost a new entry.
• Don't OVER applaud someone, and don't UNDER applaud someone. It takes away from the excitement for that person.
• No crying over spilled milk. 8D We have a cat that dry cleans!
• Make sure you have PMed the questionnaire before the end of the SoA your going for has closed it's section. If not, your entry will be disqualified.
• Please make sure to read the special conditions before you enter, some SoA are plot required. Meaning, they are rp required for this specific meta. After the meta, we can discuss everything else. Anyone can enter this contest whether your new to the pride, have no SoA or have a zillion!
It's all about the prompt this time. You can't have a contest without one! If your good at rping, this would be a walk in the park for you! Only there are some minor details you need to know about this guy above before you can fully grasp~ Where he fits in this meta. Along with how to enter!
OOC Details:
• One entry per person for this SoA.
• Must understand that he MAY have the possibility of DYING in this meta. If that happens we will allow you to breed him. Before we make the final verdicts.
• HE IS PLOT REQUIRED. We're looking for someone to round out this character and RP. Just at least in the duration of the meta. After that, if he lives you can do as you'd like ( except leave the pride since he is a pride custom )
ICC Details:
• He is on Hosoku's side.
• He currently is a Low Grunt in the pride.
• How he got to Hosoku's side is up to you.
• He was apart of the pride before, but didn't get noticed til now.
• He MAY or maynot die during this meta. He has a high probability of doing so since he is the pawn. If that happens you will be allowed for him to impregnate a female before he does!
• History of this character is up to the player.
Prompts:
1. ) Hosoku's right hand comes before you and tells you how the pride is going down hill and to stop it, you must lay low and forget this 'celebration'. You are a Low Grunt now, but he promises to make you a high grunt if you follow him- better yet- Currency! Does this excite you? Or do you persuade him in to getting you a higher rank... and if you do. What would be the first thing you'd want to do in your new rank.
2. ) Katapatan is currency and very well noticed with the royals. A favorite in many ways but she has disappeared from the pride. She was really the one who brought you in to the pride, along with Noir. How did you feel about her disappearance and How do you feel about the pride she brought you in. Do you want to make it big? Was she a stepping stone to greatness or do you want to watch it all fall down!
( Optional 1 Additional Info to 2, you don't have to use it if you don't want to. It will not hinder your chances ! ) From your sources, you come to find that the female ( Katapatan ) that brought you in, sired hybrids in secret. How do you feel about this? She comes to you hoping you will help her, and NOT tell anyone her secret. She doesn't want to kill them but she doesn't want them neither, she's scared.. Do you offer to hide them? She doesn't know you have already chosen sides.. Knowing that YOU are on Hosoku's side of the war. Do you offer to help, then kill the children for her own good- or do offer to help and hide them?
( When she does have hybrids, they are said to have died so either way this goes you are welcome to use it, whether this is true or not doesn't effect you <3 )
( Optional 2 Additional Info to 2, you don't have to use it if you don't want to. It will not hinder your chances ! ) You find out from a source that she brought in another cheetah whom she is said to fancy. Do you get jealous because of him, or because he is rising up in ranks because of her? ( Basically she just brought you in and left you where as she brings this new cheetah in and helps in rise in ranks ).
3. ) Your mother sired cubs with a lion when you were youthful.. She birthed hybrids.. They were huge! How did you feel about them? How did your mother treat you after they were born? Or did you leave home there after?
( Optional Additional Info to 3, you don't have to use it if you don't want to. It will not hinder your chances ! ) Your mother dies soon after the cubs hit juv. You find out that the lion came back and killed the cubs he sired with your mother.. stating they were hybrids and were freaks of nature. Did you agree with him? Do you blame them for your mother's death?
