SEMI-PUBLIC WEATHER: Warm with low humidity, a cool breeze ripples across the plains. LOCATION: Setting sun, just beneath a weathered and lifeless tree on the outskirts of the pride.
Her reaction and following remarks had not been without consequences and while they had been uttered softly, they had spread across the pride like wildfire. It was always the same way, but more often than not she couldn't help herself and her mouth was open before she could halt the onslaught. Unfortunately for the female in question, Chessa had a vague recollection of her - she couldn't pinpoint exactly who she was, but whatever the case may be it had thrust her into a stupor until the vision had passed and as usual, she had seen one of gross misfortune.
While Biti may have meant no deliberate harm, the vision that Chessa had experienced had left her uttering a warning, whether Biti liked it or not...she was an omen. Biti would bring death to the pride or more accurately, she would bring death to those around her before suffering a mortal blow herself. Granted, Chessa's visions were not always strictly accurate and the older the individual, the more likely she was to fail in her predictions but the images she had been presented with were undeniable.
Alas, the string of events had caused counsel to be held and now Biti waited with baited breath to discover her own fate, while Chessa looked on. It was a given that the lioness might elect to seek out the Seer, but if she did so... what would she wish to say, more importantly, how would the Seer respond...?

Chessa would have been easy to locate given that her pale coat stood out against the back drop of the setting sun. Nevertheless, rather than simply wait for Biti to approach her, Chessa deemed it necessary to bridge the silence herself. The moment her gaze caught sight of the approaching lioness, the seer shifted her position and turned towards her expectantly. Suffice to say that the seer was not the sort to flee from her responsibilities and at such an important time, this was one of her duties - she had foretold a disaster and as a consequence, it was necessary that she be there to answer the questions of the one involved.
Biti was no murderer, or at least she didn't seem like she was one - if she'd possessed violent tendencies then perhaps things would have been different and the visions much more acceptable. As it stood, even Chessa was of the mind that something didn't quite sit well but unfortunately, she was required to remind herself that she was very rarely inaccurate when it came to what she observed.
"Good evening," Chessa offered to the approaching lioness, bowing her head in a slight nod towards Biti.

"I have a sneaking suspicion that I do," Chessa confirmed softly, inclining her head in invitation for the lioness to come closer. There was a chance that Biti could be angry but at present the lioness didn't appear to be of a vicious mindset. If anything, Biti was the epitome of calm and considerate, and was approaching the situation in a much more mature manner than other individuals would do. In Chessa's eyes, she was worthy of respect and for that reason alone, the seer would have held fast so that the lioness could confront her in relation to all that had transgressed since she arrived.
"Something to do with the consequences of an uncontrolled tongue, yes?" she continued and released a sigh. Coiling her tail around her paws, she regarded the lioness for quite some time, electing to hold her piece for the time being. In all honesty there was little that the Seer could possibly say when it came down to it - she wouldn't excuse what she had seen and she really couldn't excuse all she had said either, but if there was something specific that needed addressed, then she was willing to discuss it.
"I must confess I'm uncertain as to what exactly you wish to discuss, or if you have anything specific to speak of at all. Regardless, you have the floor if you wish to speak to me, I will not make excuses and leave," she finished reassuringly.
