Once a typical 'silent type' Tsamsiyu`eyng, better known as Toruk, was a lion of the shadows. Believing actions speak louder than words, he let his actions speak for him, though if someone did get him to talk, his words were thoughtful and well considered, nothing pointless or frivolous would ever pass his maw. He was a skilled hunter and a powerful warrior, yet he was more likely to be found sat by himself quietly, than making loud with the other males. Then the war came... the pride was devastated, much blood was shed and Toruk was in the very center of it. When the war finally entered, the male was left scared not only on the outside, but deeply within as well, scares that even time would never heal completely. As the pride gradually rebuilt, so did Toruk rebuild himself. Yet from the ashes rose a different, changed lion. The stoic, silent fighter was gone, buried deep beneath a far more laid back and easy going exterior. In order to cope with the past and to have enough strength to face the future, he hid away his real self, the self that had sacrificed everything in a war none of them had wanted, and covered the scars with a new persona. Yet under the amused smile and playful voice is a lion that has seen the hell that his own kind can wreak on the earth, has lived through it and come out the other side.

The family will be very close with Kaym'itan and Rukopa-eupe. Toruk and Kaym are like brothers to each other, so the cubs will see Kaym as an Uncle. Kaym's own litter was born not too long ago and are still cubs themselves so the litter will have plenty of playmates near their own age to play with.
Kaym'itan: (scout) Kaym'itan is best described as being steady, and silent. It is not that he prefers to be alone, in fact quiet the opposite. He enjoys village life, and often can be found helping with the cubs, or tending a cook fire. He rarely speaks more then he has to however. He has found that others waste more time and effort on false pleasantries or overtures then they must. Kaym'itan will not lie to you, not even the little polite ones. People have become cautious of asking his opinion, though now even his silence on certain matters speaks as loudly as any words. He is not impressed by bravo or speeches, for him it is action that tells of the others heart. Because of his coloring, most of his patrols are at night, and Kaym'itan serves the Inkimayan and Eywa with a proud heart, watchful eye, and the skill of an older male.

He must receive a na'vi-based name and he must stay in the pride.
Hint: Toruk is from the pride's Old Blood, he will raise the cubs to be true Na'vi, close to nature, honorable and understanding. He wont suffer fools nor evil intent.

Personality: Krr is a detail-oriented lion who worries too much about everything and everyone. He can see the cloud to every silver lining, and will warn people about it whether or not they want to see it, which might make him unpopular as a companion, but he's an unashamed worrywart. Deep down he does know how to have fun, but it takes a lot to make him relax enough to enjoy himself.
Future Rank & why: Crafter. Krr will be injured just before he hits adolescence tree-surfing with Loreyn and Koren and the injury will keep him from learning hunting and fighting skills along with his siblings, and although he will learn them later, he will never quite master them, and since he feels no calling to the priesthood and knows he is too much of a worrywart to look after cubs, that leaves him with crafting as an occupation. Besides, he got good at doing fine work with his paws while he was recuperating from his fall.

Prompt response:
"Fnu, nga1," was a phrase Krr was used to hearing, particularly lately when he and his younger brother Koren had taken up tree-surfing along with Loreyn, who was the daughter of their father's good friend Kaym'itan.
It was a sort of dangerous past time and they weren't one hundred percent certain whether their parents would approve of it, and so the general consensus had been to keep this particular activity secret. It had never occurred to Krr that the adults in his life had probably been like him and his companions when they were young, and had likely engaged in the same clandestine activities.
It wasn't the secrecy of their tree-top play which prompted this frequent reminder to keep quiet, however. Instead it was the fact that Krr was a cub who worried constantly about everyone and everything. The only reason he had joined Koren and Loreyn in their adventures in the canopy at all was because Txan had said he was ke'o'[2] and it had bothered him. So he had begged to be allowed to come along with Koren and Loreyn to prove that he was fun, but most of the time they told him the same thing.
"Slä[3] Koren," or "Nari si[4], Loreyn!" were his catchphrases when he went out with them. He was always considering the possible dangers to his brother and their delicate friend, and as they performed increasingly daring stunts he was always there to raise objections and point out potential hazards. And so they told him to shut up, not to tell them the odds, which were just numbers he made up for effect anyway, and went ahead and did what they were going to do.
And Krr did the same stupid things right along with them, because despite the inherent danger and all the myriad reasons he could think of not to go tree-surfing, he couldn't help thinking that it was his responsibility as the oldest in the litter to look out for his younger sibling and his friend. For whatever reason he was convinced that as long as he was there, no one would get hurt because he was too responsible for things to go wrong in his presence. Or, if they did go wrong, he would be able to go for help and it would make a difference.
Also, deep down, Krr had to admit that it was fun.

Plot ideas:
Since it came up as part of the prompt, I would actually like to have Krr get injured tree-surfing. Nothing permanently damaging, but something which would keep him out of commission and unable to go out hunting and fighting with his siblings when they first start doing it, which will force him at first to stay home and later to seek out other activities to amuse himself. I'd like to have him try (and fail) to look after cubs and eventually find himself crafting as a profession.
It would of course be cute if he ended up with one of Kaym's daughters, but I think I'd rather have him fall for the same daughter as a brother and make the conscious decision not to pursue her so that his brother could pursue her without guilt. Eventually I'd like him to meet and fall in love with a girl from outside the pride.

Meaning: Strange voice
Personality:
Nìhek'mokri often portrays himself as aloof and uncaring, though inside he emotional and empathetic. His personality is full of contraditions, and he is afraid of revealing his true self in fear that others will see it as weakness. He worries constantly about others and insignificant things but usually feels embarassed when he is asked about it. Nìhek'mokri can be completely wonderful one moment and seemingly cold the next. Part of him is afraid of commitment yet at the same time he is romantic. Nìhek'mokri loves nature, and has a hobby of planting and helping to cultivate seedlings in a 'secret' patch.
Future Rank & why:
Nìhek'mokri doesn't seek power or strength but will do anything to protect his family and the brother and sisters of the clan, this is why he will become a warrior and perhaps one day join his father as a Toruk Mackto.

Prompt response:
"Oel ngati kameie" Nìhek'mokri whispered to himself as he watched Loreyn'txon, he has always 'seen' her, for some reason his mind often wandered to her with her delicate white and blue coat. She stood out in contrast to the forest, seemingly seperate yet at the same time a part of it. It had capivated him. And as she and his brother went about tree surfing, part of him really wanted to be able to do it too, perhaps it would impress her? After all, as far as Nìhek'mokri was concern she had yet to even notice he exsisted. Koren-kite'e was teaching him, but it was hard for Nìhek'mokri to constantly make mistakes infront of his younger brother... why was it he was so much slower in learning? Slamming a paw to the ground he let out a soft growl and frowned. The feeling of being displaced wouldn't leave Nìhek'mokri, he wanted to fit in, to play and talk as freely as the other but something always held him back slightly. Sure he played, and danced and even sang when the occassion called for it but never with all his soul. He was pretty sure his mother had noticed this though no one had called him out about it.
He signed, looking up at the sky in search of answers. Perhaps he should go back to the tree of souls to simply be around his ancestors once more? It was a place Nìhek'mokri often wandered to, finding peace and happiness in the solitude surrounded by the voices of the past. He took one last peek at Loreyn'txon, a protective urge fighting with his need to think.... she was so much more delicate than most, and the way his brother played he feared she would get injured despite her talent for tree surfing. In a way it strengthened his determination, he wanted to learn so he could join her and keep an eye on her... even if she eventually picked another Nìhek'mokri feared he would always feel the same. To him, she was the most beautiful creature in all of the forest.

Ok, now to answer some of the other questions that weren't answered in my little self-RP =D
Nìhek'mokri is currently unsure where he will fit into the grand scheme of things, but I think listening to his father and stories by the 'brothers' of the clan he will soon decide that he needs to help as much as he can. A warrior to begin with and perhaps one day to join or take over from his father as the Toruk Makto. Nìhek'mokri would actually be very good at finding information about other clans and packs since he blends in well with the surrounding forest, and eventhough he can't yet tree surf he is sure he can use his skills to the clans advantage.
Nìhek'mokri quite likes his brothers 'new game' of tree surfing, though part of him only wants to learn so that he can join Loreyn'txon in the trees.
Plot ideas:
Please note that all these ideas are subject to suggestions and approval, and can be tweeked or scrapped =DI would really love for Loreyn'txon to get injured or something (perhaps by one of his siblings?) and Nìhek'mokri goes beserk about it, striking the 'attacker' if there is one or trying to get her away from whatever she hurt herself on if it was an accident. Perhaps he would tell her that he likes her... or maybe just makes it obvious that she figures it out.... and then we would see how she feels in return.... though part of me would love for her to actually reject him (perhaps just to begin with?). He would still want to be around her, though would try and keep his distance and just blend into the forest for a while.It would be great for Nìhek'mokri to find a friend... someone who can get him to reveal some of his true softer self, eventhough he would never admit it outside of the friendship. Perhaps the friendship blooms because his friend was upset one day and they simply just ended up talking and with each day of play and exploring more and more is revealed about each other.To one day become the next Toruk Makto. It would be great if he got to go out with his father from time to time, even if it is simply to help him find his true place within the clan.Part of me loves drama... and would love for Nìhek'mokri to get attacked by a rogue or a stranger from another pack.I would like Nìhek'mokri to have a 'hobby', a secret patch where he likes to nurture and plant seedlings to help the forest to grow. Part of me would love for his secret patch to have meaning to him, perhaps a spot where he caught his first kill during his training by planting here he feels he is returning to the world that he stole something from. When he does kill to feed his people he will be very traditional in the sence that he will repeat the words exactly as he was taught them, and although he won't actually say anything to others he will frown a little inside if any of his siblings tweek the words slightly to fit their own style. Big on tradition.*too many ideas to type out* If I should win I would love to poke everyone for their ideas and to get some good RP in for Nìhek'mokri
