Name: Hlengiwe
Meaning: Nursed
Personality: Hlengiwe is a klutz. As a newborn, she somehow would manage to get herself hurt and would need to be nursed back to health. As a cub, her shadow is enough to trip her or make her fall over. It is a miracle if a whole day goes by that Hlengiwe doesn't get a scrape or a bruise. She is also a bit of a loudmouth. If she sees anything interesting, she'll just say it out loud so that anyone around her could hear. Despite her natural ability to be loud and talkative at the same time, she is a great listener. If someone has something to say, she'll be quiet and give them her full attention without interrupting. She is also intensely loyal to her family and will defend them no matter what.

As an adolescent, Hlengiwe has learned to not voice her opinion quite so loudly and often. She still trips on things but not as often as she used to. Having always felt like she never truly fit in, she has grown to be very accepting of others.
History: Hlengiwe is a cub of unknown origins. No one knows who her real parents are. She might be the cub of rogues that happened to be near the Bonelands pride when she was born. She could have been the cub of one of the lioness' within the pride but was abandoned due to the small bit of unnatural coloring by her front paw. The only thing that is known for sure is that Njalo'sasa adopted Hlengiwe into her own litter of cubs. They are all just about the same age and Hlengiwe does not know that Njalo isn't her real mother. She was brought up to believe that Njalo and Matifu are her parents by blood.

Personality: Shabnam is, first and foremost, a hard-worker. She understands that success in anything requires hard work. She a little hard to befriend because she is not very open to sharing things about herself. It's just that she needs to be able to trust another before opening up to them. Despite seeming so serious, she does have an odd sense of humor. Shabnam likes to be in control of herself and situations. If another tried to control her, they can expect a fight as she is not afraid to be aggressive if necessary.
