Joshua Fireseed slowly wanders up and down rows of new recruits, carefully examining each one for any weakness as his icy stare crosses each face. The sun set more than three hours ago, but the commander does not seem to notice. After what feels like hours, he stands before the formation of soldiers.
"It seems I got lucky with this group," he mumbles. Clearing his throat, he addresses the crowd.
"You are all now members of the Imperial Army. You answer to the Emperor, and you answer to me. Any questions? No? Those who need to speak to me have time to do so now, otherwise, get your gear from the weapons master and get to bed. Training starts early tomorrow. Dismissed!"

Akahanna rubbed her temple lightly as she heard Joshua Fireseed dismiss the group of soldiers. Soldiers with many talents, aware that they were risking their lives for humanity's sake... Dropping her hand to her side, she felt the side of her head numb from her sluggish strokes; tapping the tip of her blade against her hip as she wondered, in a faint daze, what she should to next. "Don't feel like sleeping... No appetite for food... What a drag." She sighed somberly, pouting faintly in exaggeration at the dilemma.

Alexia SilverAlexia quietly walked out from the shadow of the statue undetected by any soldiers. She have been observing them since the beginning of the speech and decided to reveal her presence for the commander to notice if he didn't notice her yet. Each of her steps is quiet and soft, but fast with stealth as she approach Joshua. She stood before him and her upper body bowed down as her right arm held across her chest while her right hand formed into a fist.
"Alexia Silver from Assassin's Guild. I was ordered to come here and instruct by you until our guild solve the problem with the Guild Trainer." She politely said with respect that all soldier should have toward their commander. Her voice isn't too loud for all soldiers to hear, but not too soft for only commander. Soldier who's at the front row could clearly hear her rough and strong voice just fine though her red mask is covering her mouth.

Joshua gave Alexia an uneasy look, but returned the salute nonetheless. He didn't trust members of the Guild as far as he could throw them, but the recent loss of the Guild's trainer left him no other choice but to tolerate them for the time being. The commander gestured to a nearby courier, who had been waiting uncomfortably for Joshua's signal. The young man approached, saluted, and handed a sealed envelope to the officer.
"It seems that the guildmaster has found a suitable candidate for your trainer," Joshua noted, waving the courier away and handing Alexia the envelope. "You are to go to Blackwater and find a man who is known only as 'Hawk'. According to this message, he's the best man the Guild could possibly find for the job."
He turned to the other female recruit and cleared his throat. "Recruit Akahanna!" he barked. "You will accompany Alexia on this task. Blackwater rests at the base of the Western Mountains. It will be two days' journey on horseback. Gather your gear. You leave immediately. Anybody else who wishes to do so may go with you two."

Akahanna's interest piqued when she heard her name from the man's lips. Quickly forgetting her recent moment of boredom, she nodded her head curtly to show she understood. "Yes, sir." Narrowing her eyes ever so slightly to scan Alexia, she wondered vaguely if the fragile-seeming woman could undertake such a task. But remembering the deft silence and swift feet of her 'assassin' like ways, she threw away her random doubts. "It'll be... Interesting to experience the presence of another Stealth user." She hummed softly under her breath, loud enough for both to hear. Tapping her blade against her left thigh, she smiled dryly. "Ready miss Alexia?"

Alexia Silver She quietly listened to his order and calculated the distance and time of this journey. 'We might reach there by midnight.' She thought to herself. As the commander mentioned Blackwater, immediately her mind reminised back to the time she was five when her assassin training isn't strict...much. She once visited the place with her family, but haven't tour all the site there. Though it's very nostalgic, she isn't going there to play, but this's her first mission. One mistake happen and it's the end.
"Yes, sir." She replied with nodding her head. Next, she faced Akahanna and observed her. It isn't hard for her to identify that the women is speacialize in Stealth from her stance, but doesn't why she applied as Legion. Soon, she easily heard her muttered about experience another Stealth user. It isn't hard for her to hear since she was trained in nature to hear all kind of sound, no matter how soft it was. She kept quiet and doesn't make a reply for she was trained to stay silence, talk when situation's needed, and kept her own thought to herself.
After Akahanna asked her if she's ready, she gave her a firm nod and make a small tab on her hidden short sword at her left arm. She have hidden her double swords within her right and left arm's armor. When situation called for it, she could easily pulled it out without delaying so much time. Each part of her armor, she have hidden different kind of weapon and she attached a small bag at her left side which full of different kind of bombs and other stuffs. She stood there quietly and waited for Akahanna to lead the way.

Akahanna began to weave her way around the bodies of the lingering recruits towards the stables; intent on acquiring a couple of horses for Alexia and herself. Not checking if Alexia followed suit, Akahanna took the short moment of time to process the information she had... Eavesdropped before being appointed to the task. Sounds pretty dull... We're being sent as an escort? Mentally slapping herself, she frowned thoughtfully. No, if he's as important as to sent two Stealth experts after him... I guess he is important. By the time she reached the stables, she absentmindly drew away two horses, one splashed with mottled colors of brown and black --like a little cow, how adorable, she couldn't help think-- and the other a pure black stallion. Facing Alexia, she tipped her head lightly to the side. "Which do you prefer?" As she awaited a response, she added, "I'm suited up with everything except food and water. Should we restock or just go along and find it on the way towards Blackwater?" If we did restock, we'd be wasting our strength by holding provisions... But the horses could carry a bag or two extra....

Alexia SilverAs Akahanna weaved her way through the crowd of recruits, Alexia easily walked pass through it as if they've make a way for her and that's quite true. Soldier slowly stepped back when they see her approaching them and gave her a caution and mean look. However, she still wore a blank expression against all expression and followed Akahanna toward the stable. She knew most, including the commander, don't trust her due to her career and it make a perfect logic. Assassin aren't supposed to be trust, though both are working for the same goal; they don't mix well together. She learned this fact through lot of experience that only training couldn't teach.
Not long, they reached the stable and Akahanna pulled out two horses from the stable for them. She quietly listened to what the wormen say and moved toward a pure black stallion. She observed its physical appearance and brushed its side with her right hand. "We should restock since the path we're going doesn't have any small village and hunting for food would waste more time than it should." She softly said as she brushed the horse. She've determined the shortest path that they should take, including the amount of foods and their energy along with the horse. "Restock as much as you can survive for two days. One bag for each would be nice. Though the horses can hold more than one, but it's better to give them less trouble." She've a soft spot for animal, because they're good companion and seemed to understand her better than anyone. As an assassin, she was taught to survive without food for atleast five days, but she've extent it for one week, and she might improved it if opportunity arise. "By the time we reach the destination, we can restock again for ourselves and our guest." She said as she referred to their escort. Within her mind, she believed that this mission couldn't be accomplish easily, though she don't know the guy before. Obstacle might come out during their journey...or maybe from the guy himself.

Akahanna nodded curtly as he absorbed the information from Alexia. Stroking the mottled mare on the snout, she replied, "Good idea. I'll get some supplies for the both of us. Be back in a jiffy..." She murmured as she vanished abruptly away. After a few sluggish moments dragged away, Akahanna allowed her presence to show as she approached a sort of 'granary' that was stocked with food and animal feed. Swiping a couple of bags --one with animal feed, another with rations for both girls and 'Hawk'-- she openly strolled out of the entrance; hands gripping the bags tightly. Ignoring any questioning looks at the sudden 'stolen' goods, she weaved her way back to Alexia. Tying one bag to each horse, she skimmed her hand over her hair. "Now, all we need is water... Shall I do the honors? Or shall you?" Awaiting a response, she gazed at the bag of rations and allowed a wry smile to curve the corners of her lips. "I never checked what I exactly got. Hope you don't mind the surprise." She chuckled softly.

Alexia Silver Alexia watched Akahanna walked away, getting some supplies for their journey. Without anyting to do, she stood there brushing the seat on the horse and stroking its head, patiently waiting for the woman to come back. 'She's kind of nice, seeing she didn't show any hate toward me...yet.' She thought, not believing that her kind act would last for long. It's a rare thing for soldiers to act kind toward Assassin. Even among themselves, there was only small numbers, trusting each other. Though, she isn't sure why she was choosen to work on this mission, seeing there are many who are capable in guarding the man. She didn't question it though, seeing it none of her businees to question their decision.
Time slowly passed by, and soon Akahanna came back pulling two bags toward her and tied one on each horse. After she had listened to her question, she gave a quick calculated thought basing on the place layout and people's attitude toward Assassin, and then make a reply. "It would be great if you do the honor, since many would find a soldierr, getting supplies more comfortable than Assassin." She paused for a while and continued, "And I'm still unfamiliar with the place, so it isn't good for me to fetch since it might take time." Well, it isn't completely a lie since she's really new here, but someone have told her where to get supplies.

Akahanna grunted in agreement at Alexia's words. "Even so, my presence is also unnerving for some of the soldiers here, despite my placement in rank." Grinning openly, she once again maneuvered quickly and deftly, not wanting to waste anymore time in case Fireseed caught them idly standing by. Akahanna frowned, allowing her features to crease strangely as she thought about her years fighting. Despite breaking away from the 'Assassin Way', she was still treated as such. Not that she minded much, but she couldn't help feel segregated during moments in the crowd. Scowling faintly in disgust, she pushed her thoughts to the back of her mind. She couldn't be distracted now. Grabbing enough water canteens for the trip, she filled the pouches with luke-warm water--straight from tap-- and avoided having to spill all contents with the movements of the crowd. Briefly feeling annoyed at the traffic, she restrained herself from leaping onto the walls of the campsite and jumping her way towards Alexia. No, no. Can't form too much of a scene. Instead, she pushed and shoved those that straggled ahead of her. Reaching Alexia, she shook her head and sighed loudly. "Traffic. Even without a road, it comes back to haunt me."

Rin Noto twirled her blades around her fingers with great dexterity, half-lidding her eyes in annoyance. She glanced at the throbbing tattoo in her left arm, mostly hidden by the leather gloves strapped around her hands and wrists. Scowling at the sudden, but consistent ache, she tried to ignore the pestering feeling by adding more force into the twirl of her blade. Ignoring any irritated glares shot at her way due to her twirling, she meandered around the camp looking for something to do. A sudden gust of wind blew the veil obscuring the lower half of her face, which forced her to rearrange it back to it's usual position. Flicking her wrist with practiced ease, her right twirling blade now followed in her left hand. Slipping the cloth back, she now padded down the rows of tends with her two blades whirling in her left hand.

Alexia Silver Alexia slightly titled her head in curiosity after Akahanna had went away out of her sight. 'Well...that's new.' She didn't expect the girl to be so friendly toward her or able to tolerate her presence because hardly people would do that and the commander is a good example. Though the woman once was an assassin before, she expected receiving a hate glare or at least a stoic posture around her, but not a nice act. Glancing back at the horses, she began thinking about what sort of events could happen during their trip. 'With her companying me, one thing I know, this isn't going to be a quiet and awkward trip like before.' She started to relax a little and began checking the horses for safetiness. She was taught to be prepare no matter how much confidence she was.
This time Akahanna had went a little too long though she did came back with enough water for them and horses. Slightly nodding in understanding at her explanation, she reached her hand out to get one of water pouches and gestured her right hand toward the horses. "Thank you for your hard work. Shall we go? We still have a long way to go and by the time we are there, our mission will begin. Let's hope that this will be a peaceful trip." As that was say, she quickly and firmly stepped up and sat down on the pure black stallion ready to move out any time. Looking around the place, she saw a dual sword weilder wandering far from them, but kept quiet since she needed to focus on her task. Deep within her heart, she felt an unstable dark feeling nagging her like a bad sign for something that's going to happen soon. She hoped that it isn't a large problem for them at all.

Rizack walked on simply. He had just signed up and was directed to go here. His face showed calmness but his mind was racing with thoughts. Hand on his blade, which was in its sheath he continued on. He was pretty sure he needed to see someone.
