Garden

A beautiful garden with a good sized pond in the center. There are trees tens of thousands of years old, flowers that never wilt even when picked, and fruit that explodes if you drop it. Pity on the unknowing ones...

'Stupid school, stupid roommate, stupid everything!' Rei thought to himself as he sat down on a bench in the garden, crossing his legs and folding his small hands into his lap. Looking around at the flowers and trees, he smiled. At least the garden was decent. 'I could probably take good pictures for my blog here~' As long as he had attention from the users on his blog, he could be happy. It didn't matter if he had friends, because he had admirers, followers, and devoted fans. Just because they were on the internet didn't mean they weren't real. This was the false happiness that he convinced himself of having. Already, he was going down the path of no return, a path of complete solitude. Was that what he truly wished for? No. But, he'd lied to himself so much that now he believed it to be true.

Rouge walked looking closely at the flowers when she noticed someone. "Not you..."

Rei was holding a flower in his hands when he heard a familiar voice. His lips formed a pout as he glanced up at the girl. "I hope you're not stalking me." He answered quietly before getting up and walking away, heading back to the halls to return to his dorm room. The oni wanted to avoid his roommate at all times; he didn't even care to learn her name.

Rouge finished finding the herbs she needed fairly fast and was tired. She dcided she would go through the window to the room instead of using the hallways.

Amy jogged out to the garden. The garden was her favorite place to run, and besides, she had to work off the half-pound of peanut butter cups she'd just eaten.

Finally finished with her routine, Amy ran and did a front flip over the pond. "Tah - Dah!" she shouted, to get the attention of anyone in the garden. A few flowers turned towards her and started to make tiny noises of approval, and she took a dramatic bow. "Thank you, thank you!" I wonder what Mama's up to. She decided to go visit her.

The garden was more like a meadow. Vivian's eyes swam, glancing at the trees and many flowers. A certain freshness was filling the sky, making the whole garden very surreal. She was the child she never knew, and that child opened the new world for her to explore.Vivian inhaled the fresh air, and exhaled. She looked back, waiting for Rayamo to catch up with a small little, tired smile on her face.

Rayamo caught up shortly and stood beside her to catch his breath. He recognized many flowers he had seen in gardens. He saw a bench and sat down on it, leavin space for Vivian if she chose to sit with him.

Vivian sat next to him on the bench. She watched the sky, which was a light orangish pink with some few clouds. She recognized it was still summer. The next day they need to start going to their classes. She glanced at Rayamo, as if he were to say something.

He opened his mouth to say something, but couldn't think of anything. Rayamo just sat and thought for a few moments in silence. He surprised himself by speaking. "I wish I knew why this school is so dangerouse..."

Vivian shrugged; she didn't have a real answer. She didn't know the school would be dangerous, and she only brought her switchknife for self defense. She wasn't sure whether she needed it or not before she came to the school. She found it funny that she was actually allowed to bring a weapon, unlike most schools.

Rayamo just sat and tried to be companionable, though, he didn't really do well. He looked at a tree and saw a strange bird-bat thing. It sat singing sweetly in small squeaks. Its small, white teeth clicking quietly.

Vivian also glanced at the bird with the small teeth revealing. She cocked her head at it, wondering what kind of bird it was.

Looking at the bird brought a memory of what some of the challenges were for him and his sister in their abandoned days. He looked down at a couple of small delicate flowers, one much larger and looking stronger, hovering over the smaller dainty, yet fiery one. He saw another one a little ways off that seemed to watch the two with a smile. He grinned and picked it, and held it out to Vivian with a smile.
