Tareq was having a fantastic time in the kusini lands, despite the fact that the population was rather small and a little depressed due to many members up and leaving, or down right missing due to droughts. Things like that didn't effect him quite as much as others, especially because this was not his homeland. Or perhaps because he knew if he ever had to up and leave in search of water that it would be found, at some point. If it wasn't to be found anywhere in all of the lands then he might start getting worried.

He did not want to dwell on present troubles though, they would pass eventually. He wanted to focus on the happier, easier moments in life. Never would he be a leader, he didn't want to come up with solutions to problems.

What he did want to do was get used to the damn maze-like forest, which was proving pretty difficult. Though he supposed that was the point of it; a natural defense to those not of the lands. But also a wall that made it very hard for rogues to find the pride, he understood. He'd found it only by mistake, hadn't he? After wandering in the dreary, dark forest for hours!

So he'd moved through it in hopes of understanding it's twists and turns, but to no avail. Eventually he'd made it out, but with dismay he realized he was now right on the border of the Kusini'Mwezi lands. "Aiiish. What to do now?" He shook his head and laughed slightly, glancing behind him. He wasn't ready to venture back through... yet. Mostly because he knew it would be long past dark once he found his way through. If he found his way through.

It had been awhile since she'd even thought of her old name. Morska'Zelena was now the dominate name in her mind, it held the power to grab her attention. Not like Theluji. It had be shed while she traveled out of the lands of the Stormborn pride and back to the swamps.

She just wished she hadn't taken a wrong turn somewhere. Or at least had the forethought to keep tracking of the days as she had traveled away from the swamps in search of her name. Morska'Zelena sighed. She understood why she hadn't keep track, but it was not a good feeling to have the time returning drag out like this. Surely she should have been closer to the borders now. But no. Not yet.

It was getting to dark to travel so close to the dense forest on her side. She didn't want to wander into it and find herself stuck in it. Though it's denseness reminder her of the swamps somehow. It was nice to settle down for the night in even that small comfort.

The laugh made her start, but not as she would have when she'd first started this quest. Now she was cautious of all beings, but didn't judge males, no matter how fluffy they were, on the fact that they were fluffy and male. She stayed at a safe distance back, but only because that was the smart thing to do. This male didn't appear to be mean or even scary. "Lost?"
