[PRP] Happies (Aphrodite x Coeus)

Coeus hummed. This was the happiest she been ... as long as she could remember. Well the happiest without any lapses into depression and sadness that normally happened.

What made her steadily happy, without the dips into sadness? Her jewelry making was coming along. And it did serve to focus her on the present. On the small happinesses in the world that seemed to be abundant enough for the world and obvious to everyone else. But more importantly there was another contributor to Coeus's new found steady contentment.

Well, actually three new contributors. Her new little siblings from Zeno. And they were sooo cute!

Coeus smiled as she watched her little brother. She was helping Zeno watch the cubbins today. Not that Coeus thought Zeno really needed the help, since Zeno was amazing and great, but Coeus was happy to help watch them. And she secretly wanted to snuggling each of them more than she secretly wanted to snuggled Papa. Well, maybe the same sometimes.

Aphrodite waited until his older sister was not paying attention and tackled her tail. Her tail might not be as fluffy on the end as his own, but that did not bother him any. It was just as easily pounced as one with a fluffy end. The cub managed to get the tail and pin it before rolling onto his back and holding it between his paws as he licked it. He would have chewed on it, but he decided that was not very nice to do to sisters. He would chew on his own tail later.

The young male was aware of how cute he was and how much his older sister thought him cute. He had no doubt that she would tolerate the play from him because he was cute. He was learning very quickly that his appearance and how he spoke to others determined how much they liked him. He was already cute, if he said nice and sweet things, they melted and loved him. He liked being loved. It meant more playmates and snuggles! Snuggles were the best in his opinion and Daddy's fluff could be hid in while being snuggled by him, which was fun.

He was soo Cute! And Coeus knew she was going to spoil him. How could she not? All her little siblings were adorable and deserved spoiling. She flicked her tail in Aphrodite's face and suppressed a giggle. He really was too cute for words.

"What are you doing, Aphrodite?" Coeus asked attempting to be neutral and not let any of her excess love seep into her voice. She would sound too soppy then. Aphrodite really did have the prefect combination of Papa and Zeno.

Aphrodite almost lost his hold on the tail as it flicked him in the face. He got it back under control and purred as he licked away at it, grooming the end as best he could with his little tongue. He looked up at his sister, wondering why she was not gushing love on him yet. He was being adorable, and he knew he was! He was the cutest damn cub ever! Okay so that might be a overboard, but he was a cub. Such thoughts were bound to happen in a cub's mind. Of course his parentage did not hurt in the opinion of himself. His parents confirmed that he was cute just as much as his older siblings did.

Aphrodite paused in grooming the tail and hugged it to his chest with his paws. "I am grooming the tail which tempted me to pounce it." Maybe if he made it the tail's fault she would find it cuter and get that gushy voice she always used on him. He would get it from her. He would! This had now become the light colored cub's goal in this meeting with his sister. And he would not let her know it was his goal. it would be no fun if she knew what he was up to! She might decide to spite him if she knew!

Coeus giggle bubbled out of her before she could stop it. Resigned that her affection was bubbling out with it, Coeus smiled at Aphrodite with a slight wicked twinkle in her eye. "It tempted you? And what if it did this?" Her tail twitched again but instead of trying to escape, it twitched to tickle under his nose. "And how about this?" Then she poofed it out as if she'd been scared fluffied by some passing horror.

Trying to keep herself from oozing all over Aphrodite and pouncing him for his cuteness, she continued to flick and poof and wiggle her tail in his face watching his adorable expressions. Granted all he would really need to do was stick his tongue out the side of his mouth and he'd be overwhelmingly adorable. And he would probably do that at some point to, because he was too cute and too much like Papa not toget cuter. And fluffier, but that was later in life.

Aphrodite looked pleased with himself as his sister cracked under his cute. Her laughter was music to the cub's ears. He did not mind the wicked twinkle in her eye, if anything he loved that twinkle and what it meant for him. That twinkle usually meant playing. What cub did not like playing? Aphrodite liked snuggles more than playing but playing was still attention and he ADORED attention. He was cute he DESERVED attention. The cub would take any and all attention, enjoy it, and try to get more. There was no end to the attention wanting with him and he was quite proud of himself for it.

When the tail twitched and tickled his nose, Aphrodite gave a little sneeze and purred as he licked the tail. "It did tempt me... I shall have to groom it." When it puffed he giggled and doubled his efforts to groom it. He had to get the fur back down on his sister's pretty tail. It seemed like every time he got the fur down, it puffed again. He just could not groom it fast enough, especially with it tickling his nose and making him sneeze. The tail was most definitely getting the better of the cub.

Aphrodite losing to her tail in this odd game of grooming was the end of her resolved. He loved snuggling anyway and there was little point in denying him. It would be like denying Papa - he'd just scoop you up and snuggle you anyway. Granted Aphrodite couldn't scoop Coeus up, but there were other ways the cub won that battle.

Case and point: the determined, but losing, tail-groomer.

So now Coeus had a decision to make: pounce, groom, or snuggle. Two out of the three or all three and in what order? If she pounced him after the grooming, he'd get dirty and need more grooming, which would lead to more snuggles. Pounce first, well that was a logical choice. Groom, pounce and then snuggle. So many option and in the long run it didn't really matter. He'd still be too cute for his own good and Coeus would have to do all three until she was satisfied.

So ....

Coeus pounced her little brother as he tried to keep the fur of her tail down right after another little sneeze and playfully shouted, "Rawr! I got you!"

Aphrodite's eye got huge as he was pounced. It was not that he was scared or anything. It was more that he was excited that he had gotten what he wished. He had been trying so hard to get his sister to snuggle with him. The cuteness was such a good ploy for this goal, and the cub new very well that it was such an effective way to get his sister to crack. He was quite delighted that it had finally lead to his intended goal. The cute wide eyes watched Coeus with interest as she pinned him down. The snuggles were coming, he just knew it!

The cub giggled and put a paw up on Coeus' nose. "I got your tail first." He groomed the tail a little bit more and stopped with hit part way in his mouth. Tail tuft hanging out of his mouth, paws wrapped around it, and huge wide eyes... if the cub got any cuter, his sister would probably die from her heart exploding. And he was directing every ounce of that cute right up at his sister, whom was now face to face with him. She would snuggle, she would! He was sure of it, and he would make it happen if he had to.

She. Just. Couldn't. Fight. It.

Coeus snuggle pounced Aphrodite as she stopped resisting the pull to snuggle. Aphrodite was even better at the pull than Papa was. Papa always got her to snuggle without realizing it, but Aphrodite made you WANT to snuggle. Not that she never wanted to snuggle him. She just thought he was soooo cute working to get those snuggles.

"Nope. I got my tail first than you came around and got my tail and then I got you." Coeus snuggled her nose behind Aphrodite's ear and gave him a lick.

Aphrodite pouted at his half sister and snuggled away. She made too much sense, but he didn't have to like it when she was right. He did however love the snuggles! He would take the snuggles even if it meant admitting his sister was right. "I still say I got it first, but I like being gotten if it means snuggles.

The cub was quite happy to be snuggled up against the leopon. He knew she looked different, but he did not yet know why. Really he didn't care because she was still his sister and almost the best at giving snuggles. Almost. His father was probably better, but he wouldn't tell his sister that.
