Herryk is a little cranky and stand-offish (b*****d son of Aesir, the warlord of the Stormborn). They live together in the forest that borders the boundaries of the pride. These cubs will be free to live their lives as freeborn or reaver, and will be able to climb ranks to captain, priestess or lawspeaker should the winners choose to do so! Cub's name & meaning: Utfordre (challenge)
Future rank: Reaver
Brief personality: Utfordre, like many in the pride, looks to climb up through the ranks. Ideally, he'd love to be the Warlord, but common sense says he should set his sights a little lower, like maybe Captain. He believes in the innate superiority of the Myrsky Syntynyt and is always happy to prove this by going Viking or trumping a would-be-member's Askorun.

THE SIGN HAD FINALLY COME
Cub's name & meaning: BERGLJOT because it means "help/save" and "light" and it reminds me of the family's Coeur (gramma) = heart, Chayah (aunt) = breath, Pur'coeur (maam) = pure heart
Future rank: Priestesses in the future!
Brief personality: Jot (her nickname) is a little bit of a quiet cub. Some take this to be an inheritance of her father's stand-offishness, but she's got a loose screw or two, probably from grandma Coeur. She feels all of her emotions very strongly, and without much thought or consideration for why, and doesn't really think things through before acting. She's very selfish while she's young. Though some wires are crossed up there, she will grow up and realize it while doing her best to not make trouble for anyone and will mostly overcome whatever "quirks" she has while young. She feels compelled to grow up to become a priestess because of her godly lineage and takes rituals of the pride very seriously.

Cub's name & meaning: Freyja: Old Norse meaning 'lady'. Norse mythology: The goddess of love and beauty.
Future rank: Freeborn. She will work towards being a crafter icly though.
Brief personality: Despite her looks, she is sweet and kindhearted. Taking much after her mother's personality yet with her father's love and connection to the woods. She has not the fey-like sensuality of her father's blood, but she does possess a deep and lasting connection and empathy with the forest spirits. Most at home among the wildness that boarders the pride, she is happy to spend hours or days in the pride that her father belongs to, but her true home is the forest and she will always return to it.

Future rank: Reaver
Brief personality: She may be the daughter of a b*****d son, but Adelis carries her head high! She doesn't have to be part of a LEGIT branch of Aesir's family to be proud of her herritage. After all, as far as she's concerned, her family is all Stormborn, and will remain all Stormborn. A quick-witted little lion, she's attentive of everything around her, ready to exploit any weakness her foes may have. Her favorite activity is, as a cub, pretending to hunt Thralls(Really, they're other cubs in the pride, and she lets them go when she's done... And before parents get involved), honing her skills so she can bring back plenty of Thralls for the pride later when she's a Reaver.

Cub's name & meaning: Marit (Norwegian for Pearl)
Future rank: Freeborn
Brief personality: Brave (sometimes to the point of foolishness.) Will accept a challenge just to prove she isn't weak. Has a secret affinity for shiney things and soft things (such as jewlry or furs) Doesn't keep 'clean' but instead focuses on being fit and healthy, thinking this is more appealing than anything else. She doesn't want to advance in rank only because she believes the pride will be strongest through the strength of their base members. While Marit never backs down from a challenge, she also smartly doesn't start anything she thinks she can't finish. Unity is important to her, and she feels like even if members don't like one another, it's important to get along or at least tolerate each other. She strives not for power for herself, but wants to empower her pride. Oh, and she loves newly fallen snow.

Cub's name & meaning: Stian (Norwegian for Wanderer)
Future rank: Freeborn
Brief personality: Full of questions, he's more likely to ask about something than try to explain it. And when asked a question or for an explanation, he'll usually counter with a question of his own to reroute the conversation. Stian is sneaky and not above lying when it suits him. Sometimes he gets caught in his lies and other times he's so smooth that that no one notices. As a cub, he'll get caught alot, as he gets older, he'll become wiser and realize what's easy to see through and what he can really get away with. Boastful, and at the same time a little bit cowardly, but he hides the cowardice with well thought out words. Silver-tongued, to be sure. But while he lies, he would never steal. Well, nothing but information. Information he prizes.

Brief personality:
A spoiled brat, a smart mouth, and acting like a boss. Agnar likes to always get his way because he acts like his is king sense i wants to go to the top. He is sometimes and idiot to going towards danger but acts brave for the girls. Hangs in areas where he gets in trouble he'll make a story of bravery to impress everyone and loves that lie. Sometimes he lies to get out of trouble then run or get his siblings in trouble for an escape. A big baby a baths, he also wrestles his brothers to be prepared to prove his worth.

(From the Old Norse name Dagný, which was derived from the elements dagr "day" and ný "new")
Future rank: Freeborn for now, hoping to have her rise to Priestess one day!
Brief personality:
Gentle as a flower, but with a resolute fire in her heart. Dagny is one that will not let another best her, and will stand her ground if necessary, even if she is not one who enjoys fighting. She is calm in times of great stress, and tries to calm others when it becomes too much to bear for them. She loves her family very much, not allowing even one to escape her affection. This is certain to get on her siblings' nerves! She has a dream to step up the ranks and learn beneath the priestesses in a way that will serve her Pride and make her parents proud.

Cub's name & meaning: Sigdis {Norse, "Victorious woman"}
Future rank: Reaver
Brief personality: Sigdis is a true viking. Adventure and triumph are in her blood and she looks forward to going on her first raid and climbing the ranks as she gets older. Unable to sit around, she spends her time 'conquering' her siblings and searching for cubs who are iron in blood to be in her crew. Sigdis is strong-willed, fierce, dignified, fearless, and extremely loyal to her pride and to those that are loyal to her. She is not a tomboy, she is simply not a follower and chooses to lead her own path to glory.

Cub's name & meaning: Sorley {Norse "Summer sailor/traveller}
Future rank: Reaver
Brief personality: In general, Sorley is a calm, collected, and content boy that does not seek the victory in life like many in his pride do. He is proud to be one of the vikings, but he is also happy to be a reaver in someone's crew as opposed to striving for his own power. Sorley loves his forest home in the Myrsky Syntynyt and will likely raise his own family there. He can usually be found laying beneath a tree or listening to the tales of valiant vikings of the pride.
