Bio: Nixie was a care-free selkie in the seas of Northern Europe. That was until she met Sovann Prince-Hughes, a Scandinavian aquaculture entrepreneur on vacation in Scotland. He was charming enough--until he'd hidden away her seal-skin. Then, according to the tenants of her people, she was bound to him, and he turned out to be not-so charming. For the last 10 years, he paraded around his exotic little "water baby" like a doll. He died a month ago in a plane accident, and Nixie didn't shed a tear. She refuses to be under the heel of another man. Now she has to find her seal-skin so she can finally go home. She needs someone she can trust to help her--hopefully someone with a good nose and maybe someone to whom she can leave her late husband's fortune.
