What kind of endings are bad for what kind of stories?

I was thinking about this, ever since I saw Marauder Shields, as an alternative to a game's story.

So I was wondering.... what do you guys think?
Of bad endings for stuff.

Yes, kapag namatay yung main character o di kaya yung ka-close ng main character like kapatid, bestfriend, girlfriend, boyfriend, etc. HEARTBREAKING

Kapag parang wala rin lahat ng nangyari kasi naiwasan din via time machine and stuff XD

Endings , na hinde na ca-clarify ang ibang aspects ng story. Yung hindi npapakita ang past ng isang character , kung bkit naging rapist sya for example. kung bakit nag suicide ang protagonist in d 1st place. yung mga ganun . . whee

Probably endings which are made half-arsed, leaving you with disappointment and would most likely get some people pissed. You know, those kind of movies that builds up this huge great suspense, making the long wait almost unbearable to a point.. Then BAM!!!! All that anticipation for nothing, you get a mediocre ending, and there you were expecting something amazing and gratifying..

But noooo, you get poopie. emotion_donotwant
