Hothlepoya or, as he was now called Dubhshíth, was padding around the swamplands. The reptilian coloured young adult was not exactly the happy sort, for multiple reasons. The main reason being, his new home. Dub couldn't understand the appeal of this place to his parents, but couldn't exactly leave, either. That was thanks to his mother, whom had coddled the male since the litter incident. She'd most likely meant well, in some twisted way, but in the end it'd left the boy with a strangeness to being by himself. Dubhshíth had been left with the impression that everything was dangerous, and that it was wrong to be away from Momma, or else you'd die.
He was almost fully grown, and yet, he'd never had much interaction with anyone else, aside from family and that..friendly, feminine coloured male he'd met while getting lost here. He wasn't sure how to be around anyone, aside from his parents. He'd been kept from exploring, as a cub. And was kept from speaking to others, particularly strangers, even if they were harmless. Now, everything was changing at an alarming pace. How was he to be independent, when he'd been raised to be dependent on his parents? Well, dependent upon his Mother. Dubhshíth's large father tried his best to try and reverse what his mate had down, only to get a good yelling at. Perhaps even a swat to the face.
With how hysterical his mother had been, Dub knew even less about how to connect to a female. Where they all crazy like his mother?
