The last of his kind? (Me and ?)

Its a normal day on the beach, _______ was walking on the beach early in the morning when no one is out walking. As she is walking though, she finds someone laying in the sand on the shore but when she gets closer, she finds a bruised boy that is covered in spots of oil and... he has a tail instead of legs! It turns out that an oil spill went down with the current to the underwater buildings that these mermaids lived and began to poison and kill them, his mother told him to run but was caught in the oil spill, but he was able to get out but a current caught him, throwing him into reefs, but caused him to wash up on shore, but if he is left there when the sun comes up, he will began to be dried out, cooked by the heat of the sun and die but what if she helps the boy who has no one left and might be the last of his kind?

Bio:
His life as a mer... person was normal for him and even though he could breathe air, he usually liked staying underwater but he never knew of normal humans. He lost his family and all those that he knew when the oil spill poisoned his home, destroying it making him as far as he knows, the last mermaid.

Personality: A bit stand offish, blunt, sarcastic, but all in all she's a nice girl when you get to know her.
Bio: As a child Kaih was raised by her father because her sick mother died during child birth. As she got older she tended to play on the beach with the other kids but the water always seemed to catch her attention and call out to her. Kaih would, and still does, sneak out at night to go roam the beaches looking for shells and to see the jellyfish and other animals.

Hmm... very nice profile, would you like to start with her walking along the beach as the sun barely rose and with her stumbling upon the oil-water and my character, taking him home?

Kaih lay in bed waiting for the faint sound of her father snoring to let her know he was fast asleep before she sat up and slowly slid the large bay window open. Her hands pressed lightly on the glass as she moved it back just enough for her to slip through. Sitting up she made quick work of getting out of the window and down onto the deck. Her socked feet made a soft thumping noise as they touched down on the wood boards that made up the deck. It was a late Friday night/early Saturday morning as she made her way across the cool sand of the beach. Kaih's hair blew and danced around her face as she walked, stopping every now and then to pick up a new shell or dig her painted toes into the sand. As she squatted down to pick up an odd black shell her eyes picked up on an odd shaped figure a ways down the beach. "What is that?" she mumbled to herself before running towards it. As she got closer the figure began to look more and more like a human body. "What the hell? Hey kid get up you can't sleep on the beach it's ru-- what the hell?!" Kaih screeched the last part as she noticed the boys legs were...missing? No they weren't missing they were fins. Blinking slowly Kaih found a stick and poked at the boy a few times.

Cody was laying in the sand, his body was a normal human body, it looked toned and tanned nicely, but then their was his tail, covered in beautiful blue scales and had a couple small fins on it to help him swim. Cody laid face down in the sand, his body and tail covered in spots of oil which were poisoning him, making him weaker so when she picked up the stick and began to poke him, he coughed a bit, trying to cough up the oil in his lungs but she would have to get him cleaned up and somewhere safe before the sun came up and dried him out or before someone else finds him.

Kaih sighed deeply. "Get up." she hissed as she jabbed at him a few more times waiting for a reaction. Her brown eyes flashed a bit showing her annoyance as she stood there. "See if you wouldn't of gotten drunk or high which ever and tried to play mermaid...err man whatever you wouldn't be in this situation now take off the stupid outfit and go run off with your friends or something." she said before turning to walk back along the beach. "I hate living on the beach sometimes." Kaih mumbled to herself as she walked, her left hand pushed her wind blown hair out of her face as the right held onto the stick. 'If he's still there when I head back home I'll help him...maybe.' she mused in her head while watching a crab run across the sand.

Cody still remained on the sand, not moving much because of the fact that the oil poisoned him, his body was out as he was having a high fever effect. If she walked back, she would find him and if she checked his tail, she would find that it was real as were the fins on his arms, especially when they move a bit unlike any props she could believe were used.

Kaih hummed as she walked along the beach, every now and then she would kick at mounds of sand to see if any thing was buried under them. After a few more minutes of exploring Kaih took a seat on a large rounded boulder and watch the first few rays of sunlight peek over the horizon. Her brown eyes seemed to turn to a deep amber as the rays hit her eyes. "I guess I should make my way back home." she muttered while standing to head home. Once again she passed by the boy on the ground. "Guess you want to be stuck here when the tourists get here. They'll just call the cops on you." she said before poking him once again.
