This is a contest for the Nyota-Wasomaji pack.
Starts: May 4th, 2PM CST
Ends: May 25th, 7PM CST
1) Please read all of the information before entering.
2) This adult wild dog may not leave the Nyota-Wasomaji. Pups need to stay at least until adulthood.
3) Anyone may enter! You may enter all of them, but you may only win one!
4) If you don't win, please be a good sport. There will be plenty of other chances.
5) If you win any of them, please try to RP them. I know people have lives, but I don't want them collecting dust.
6) I reserve to not give away the adults or the starry pups I think none of the entries fit them.

[Information] Parents to the last five pups as well as this girl, another girl and one more boy. Alnitak is a pretty serious and gruff lady. She only breeds to strengthen her pack, and as a leader feels it sort of a duty. She won't be the most loving of mothers, not one to dote, however she is protective and won't let harm befall her pups.
Kipenzi will likely be the one to shower the love around between the two of them, not that Aln will like all this 'love' stuff, but she deals with it cause the pack needs the members after an earthquake devastated their ranks.- - - - - Mother to the first two pups as well as two other female pups. Alnilam is one of the leaders of the N'W and as such, she is very busy, but she will in no way neglect her pups as they are one of the first litters born to the pack after their disaster. She'll be a loving mother despite her hectic schedule especially since the pups have no father figure. They are likely to spend a good amount of time with Star-Watchers.- - - - - There is a rivalry between the families that is recent, but already strong. Sadly, the pups will be caught in the middle of this. To better describe the tension, here is a description of it. Keep in mind this may get worse as time goes on.
Alnilam is the daughter of a previous Baraza, making her a prime choice to take the rank after her father died in the earthquake. Alnitak on the otherhand was just a colossus, but a damn good one. She became known as the warmonger in the days following the earthquake and had defended the pack against raiding hyenas and other scavengers as well. This made her something of a local hero to the pack. Both are popular among the pack and several members are talking that a civil war is likely inevitable at the rate things are going, especially if they can't locate Mintaka, an elder wild dog who would be named Baraza should he be found.
After the two were named Baraza, there was a great debate on if the pack would stay and rebuild or if they would leave their ancestral packlands and move to better ground. Without the third Baraza, the vote came to the pack to decide. They voted in favor of staying and starting over. Needless to say, this upset the blood-red female. This is the main reason the two and their families do not get along.

[Roleplay Contest] Colored by Ameh This boy is a blank slate except for a few things:
• Above all, he is the intended mate to Yildun owned by Ameh. This cannot be broken without her approval.
• I will pay for a breeding between the two and pay for both custom-ins. It's up to the winner and Ameh to decide where the pups go.
• He is a childhood friend to one of the current leaders, Alnilam.
• He is an original member who left before the earthquake but is returning after he caught word of the disaster.About Alnilam Alnilam is the daughter of one of the previous Baraza, a leader of the Nyota-Wasomaji. Her father died during the earthquake and her mother passed while she was young. Being the line blood-relative to a Baraza, she is given the rank along with a war-hero. The starry-pelted wild dog has been your friend since the two of you were pups. She and you went on your pilgrimage to find your constellations together (whether this is when the WD left, or if he came back and then left if up to you). There was even some rumors that your parents were planned to put the two of you together. She's always had a good head on her shoulders, knowing right from wrong, but was never afraid to get her paws dirty for the good of the pack. A good amount of the pack view her as a sort of traditionalist when it comes to the pack lands. After the earthquake, she voted to stay in one place while Alnitak voted to move on and find a new home. This it itself caused some tension between the pro-Alnilam and pro-Alnitak supporters who were behind them in either leaving or staying. In the end, the pack stayed though. About Yildun Yildun is a rather independent member of the N'W, and would rather always be moving and accomplishing something than having idle paws. Her family has always been intellectual, and she follows them in becoming a Star-Tracker at a very young age; she would not have had it any other way. Her duty to the pack is her first priority, though her kind, caring, and accomodating way would allow her heart to be aflutter around anyone she loved. Mostly, she is practical and a little nerdy, and would do well with whoever could appreciate that. Prompt #1 This is backlogged to a few weeks after the disaster. Him and Alnilam would be young adults. She is not a leader at this time. You were told by a passing bird that the Nyota-Wasomaji has suffered a horrible earthquake and a majority of the pack is thought to be dead. You were once a member of the pack. Why did you leave? Do you go back right away? Prompt #2 In more detail, explain why you left the Nyota-Wasomaji. You can play it like a sort of flashback or just backlog it, but I'd like to know what kind of tension or just decision led to him leaving. Prompt #3 You and Alnilam have been friends since you were pups together so it's obvious that she would know about the lady friend. Did the love for Yildun spark when you were adolescents or was it not there until after you returned and saw her again? Was it super awkward? Did Alnilam notice first and push you to it? Was it your parent's idea*? Try not to play Yildun in this. *: You can use this for the prompt response, but if you want it to be the case ICly, you'll need to talk it over with Ameh. Other pups have a father but the thing is...you have no father! He was a passing rogue so you have no father figure in your life. As far as the pack is concerned though, you and your siblings are blessings from the stars. How does this affect you? Prompt #2 There is a tense competition between your mother and another litter's mother, Alnitak, who happens to be another Baraza, about who is the better leader for the pack. Alnilam wanted to stay after the earthquake and rebuild while Alnitak wanted to move on and find better land. The pack ended up staying though, siding with Alnilam on the matter. This is the main cause for the tension. You meet one of Alnitak and Kipenzi's pups, Aurinko (male pup), one night. How do you react to this meeting? Do you try and befriend them?
