Welcome to the good town of Amityville, known to be the most haunted place in the world and to be one of the more ghost loving places in the world. Many people love the science behind ghosts and think that finding out that their is a way to communicate with and to see such spirits easily. Amity College is also one of the best colleges that have created many inventions, both ghost and non-ghost related. They began to try to create one of the world's first ghost portal, thinking that instead of going to heaven or hell, spirits can travel to another world parallel to the human world and have the ability to move from world to world with ease. Humans want to see if they can do the same by creating a portal to the ghost realm. One of the people who is helping work on the portal is college student named Cody Fenton (Yes, I had to), who believes that their could be ghosts as well. He was helping with the project, creating the portal's entrance and containment. They finally completed it, Cody tried to invite his best friend (Or girlfriend, which is more prefered.) but she didn't believe in ghosts as much as he did so she decided not to attend the portal's start up. The day came and they activated the portal but it just sparked and didn't turn on. They checked the control panel but believed it to be a failure. Cody thought that maybe something was wrong with the containment field so he walked inside the entrance, standing in the small room and found a couple of the wires that he forgot to connect. He reconnected them and covered them with the loose panel but the controls turned on activating the portal while he was standing inside. He screamed in pain as he was surrounded by the ecto energy, it felt like he was burning from the inside but soon he stumbled out of the portal's entrance, holding his side as he collasped to the floor. Since he was alone after everyone left, no one found him after his accident. Though a few minutes later, he began to become transparent, and slid into the floor before falling into the student center area that was like a hang out or living room area for students of the college. A girl found him minutes later laying on the floor, having not recognized him at first due to his hair looking as if it had been bleached white. Cody is taken to his room but later, after awaking, he finds that he now has ghostly abilities, but can now also see ghosts which are starting to sometimes cause mayhem. Other then the other ghosts, can he get use to his new abilities and what about his friends?

His parents are Sam and Danny Fenton (I got lazy with names), they are both geniuses and have created many things. Cody got his knowledge of ghosts from his father Danny, who has been stuck on work for a while. Cody went to Amity College, which has been funded by his parents due to them having much pride in the town they live in. The Fenton family is rich and goes about doing a great job with the town.
