Bilijo wasn't down to bang uglies (at least not more than once), but she had worked herself up as Tazira led her to Taraxa's den. Maybe this Taraxa was fairly good looking. Who knew right? Bilijo would keep an open mind, even though she hadn't really noticed him before. Besides, it sounded like he had very fertile loins. When Tazira led her to the mouth of the den, Bilijo immediately marched herself inside. It was ... it was filthy. Bilijo's eyes widened slightly. It was disgusting! It was ... in need of a female paw. Bilijo's expression of horror and disgust became more thoughtful. Pleased, almost. This Taraxa was certainly in need of a good woman. Turning her attention to the great mound of a lion passed out in a heap of garbage, Bilijo noticed the hyena for the first time. If it was a thrall, it wasn't a very good one. It also appeared to be gingerly poking at Taraxa with a stick. "Shoo!" Bilijo snapped, waving one manly paw at it. The creature stuck its tongue out at her and skittered out of the den, dodging her easily. "Hmmph. I can't say much for your housekeeping, Taraxa," Bilijo muttered. A half-eaten haunch of meat stuck to the side of Taraxa's face looked like it would make a good snack while Bilijo waited for Taraxa to wake up. Shrugging her beefy shoulders, she lowered her head and peeled it away from Taraxa's fur to munch on it.

"Oh, Taraxa," a lovely female purred at him, grooming his cheeks and muzzle with her pleasantly raspy tongue, "you're so big and strong. You're just what every Reaver should aspire to be."
"I know," Taraxa drawled, taking a proffered piece of meat from another, equally beautiful lioness while he kept his eyes closed.
"I can't say much for your housekeeping, Taraxa," a third, unseen lioness mumbled. Taraxa scowled, the pressure on his cheek lifting. As wet, moist sounds followed, Taraxa groused, and forced himself to open his eyes.Reality had always been a little more disappointing than dreams. In this case, when his eyes landed on the breathtaking beauty before him, Taraxa wasn't entirely sure he'd roused completely. Was this still a dream? It had to be. He'd never seen this lioness before, at least from what he could remember. "Mmmrghh. Can clean my den anytime, beautiful."

Beautiful. Bilijo liked the sound of that. If her mouth hadn't been stuffed full of meat, she would have smiled sweetly at Taraxa.
It was impolite to speak with your mouth full, so Bilijo calmly chomped her way through the rest of the haunch before replying. She swallowed most of it without chewing to speed the process along. This caused her to choke, but only slightly. Bilijo's throat was truly a champ. "I had heard that you were lonely and might need some company," Bilijo said, baring her yellow teeth at Taraxa in a demure smile. "My name's Bilijo, and I know you're the great Reaver Taraxa."
She supposed Taraxa's coat was kind of okay, even though his mane was all whitebread. He had the same markings as the turd-lioness, but he was all big and buff to her short and shrimpy. He was especially buff around the midsection, like Bilijo herself. Not bad. She gave him a seductive look through lowered eyelashes.

"I am the great Reaver Taraxa," he leered at the female, a single brow twitching upward as he drank in the sights laid out before him like a giant, blubbery feast. Company? He liked that. He liked that a lot. No strings were always good - Taraxa wasn't entirely ready to settle down to wife yet, but ... well, the prospects had suddenly gotten a lot brighter.
"I don't think I've seen you around before, Bilijo," he drawled, enjoying the sight of her smile. She was giving him.. was she? Was that the look? It really seemed to be. Taraxa purred softly.
"And believe me, I'm sure I'd remember such a beautiful, stunning face if I'd seen it before."

A beautiful, stunning face! Of course, Bilijo was well aware that she was beautiful and stunning, but she didn't hear it often enough. Likely because the males that saw her were too stunned by her beauty to speak up. That small turdy lioness had led her to a pretty good male. Bilijo preened a bit, feeling quite pleased.
The huge haunch of meat had taken most of the edge off her hunger, and Bilijo thought she could probably stand to go without food for maybe the next five to ten minutes. That left much, much more than enough time for her and Taraxa to get busy.
It was time to swoop in for the kill.
"You're so handsome, Taraxa," Bilijo cooed. "Such lovely dark stripes and brown fur. I do admire brown males so much." Flutter-flutter went her eyelashes. She paused to suck a chunk of gristle out from between her teeth before continuing. "We'll make the most beautiful cubs together." She waggled her hips suggestively. The erotic tension in the filthy den was thick enough to cut with a knife, and then smear on a whole loaf of bread for a tiny snack.

Wait, what?
"Cubs? I.. I prefer not to ah. I do not make cubs with females in the pride. Yet. Not until I marry, and as of yet I have not taken a wife."
There was a long silence.
"I.. I thank you for your compliments, ah.. what was your name? But.." He looked completely forlorn. "As I've said. Only my wife will have the privilege of birthing my cubs here in the pride."
He would go out and impregnate anything that walked, honestly, and even bring his children back. But he'd learned the hard way - with Nymph - that diddling females within the pride only led to strange things. Like cubs in outfits and masks.

There was probably a whole lot of meaning in Taraxa's blitherblather that flew straight over Bilijo's head, but whatevs. She got the gist. The summary, if you will. You just had to read between the lines, possibly with the aid of the world's most powerful magnifying glass.
"You want to marry me?"
Bilijo swooned. She had been waiting her whole life to swoon, and by god she was going to make the most of it.
Going up onto her tiptoes to achieve maximum height and thus velocity, the massive pink lioness collapsed onto Taraxa.

"Wait, whahhghhhhghhht??"
He was crushed beneath her impressive weight.
"Mororhghh!"
It was hard to breathe. Taraxa had to gather all of his strength to shove the she-beast off of him.
"No! I mean, err. I'm sure you.. Are you new here?"

Bilijo flopped back onto Taraxa, holding a paw to her forehead. A half-swoon.
"Of course not, my big snugglepluff," Bilijo moaned, fluttering her eyelashes like mad at the steamy hunk of man. "Just new to your--OUR--den."
She rolled around, her limbs flopping limply, and tumbled onto the filthy den with all four legs splayed. "Oh take me, my big brown stud!" Bilijo wailed. "Make me a real woman, Tarrrooooooonxa!"

Oh Gods, oh Gods.
Oh, oh Gods.
"If you ... okay just .. fetch us some mint." Okay, this might work.
"And fetch us some berries. And ah.. another haunch of meat." His stomach rumbled.
"Lots of mint and berries though."
She was pretty, and she was willing. She was pretty willing. This might not be so bad. He was hard pressed to find a female that would give him a second glance thanks to his hellion of a sister.
"Lots."

Bilijo made a loud whining sound, rolling around on her back. "I don't want to be fetching all kinds of s**t," she groaned, her snugglepluffy talk giving way to profanity as soon as she was inconvenienced. "There's plenty of food on the floor!"
In fact, that was a great idea. She hooked a claw into a chewed up bone and hauled it to her. It was kind of old and gross but she was HUNGRY and so she jammed it into her mouth and began crunching noisily.
"Nowf gimme fum brown maaaaaannnmeeeeaaatshhhh," Bilijo drawled around the bone, trailing one sticky paw through Taraxa's fur. "My chubby hubby."

Taraxa gave a low, resigned sigh. He really should stop sleep-talking, as it only got him into trouble. He huddled closer to the beastly lioness and gave another loud sigh.
It seemed that this would be his life. After everything he'd worked for, everything he'd done... this would be his life.
Biting back a sob, Taraxa sighed for a third time.
C'est la vie, Taraxa. C'est la vie.
