Hotaru'Mai sat perfectly still as she laid precariously on a rock. She had no particular desire to do anything at the moment nor was there a need for her to do anything. The only family she had within the pride at the moment was her brother who was more then likely to busy to chat with her as he was now the new boss. And who knew wherre Hosoku was and what he was doing. Hotaru briefly contemplated going out on a mission but figured for the moment it might be best to stay within the pride, just in case her brother needed her. However, she highly doubted he would need her. Despite knowing this it made her feel better to think that he might. Sadly this meant she was in her current predicament.
Her black tail with it's blue tip swayed gently in an imaginary wind. The cheetah's blue eyes closed as she took in the smells of her home. She wondered if her brother, Shinobu, missed the smells of their home and if he was enjoying his new pride and how he and his mate were doing. It seemed like everyone in her family was off doing there own thing nowadays. Hotaru on the other hand? Yeah, she had no idea. She had elected herself as the one child that stayed mostly in the shadows and was most certainly the only one who appeared, at the moment at least, to not do anything that tarnished not only their pride but their family name as well.
Hotaru sighed and opened her eyes. All that meant was that she had a very, very, boring day.
Zuri blankly looked outword and thought lazily about what he would do for the day. It seemed like a slow day in the pride which was alright by him. Zuri made it an art of laying about... well and causing mischief when he could. He snickered as he thought back on what he had done earlier last week. Boy did he get his butt reamed for that little disaster. "Ah well, it had been worth it." He chuckled lightly to himself.
