Countryside

[Dii of Babylon]

The country side of the Earth Kingdom ranges from rolling meadows to hills to maple tree forests to mountain ranges. It is a glorious land of spanning nature.

The one whos fists flow like the gentle river.

Off to the edge of the countryside of the Earth Kingdom, the roaring waves of the mighty eastern ocean hail. Beaches of pearl-like sand as far as the eye could see. Up the dunes, grassland up to the horizon and beyond to the mountain ranges. Pieces of wood and planks, cloth and other parts of the boat that Yun and Autumn were on. The two sole survivors start to wake up, starting with Yun. He looks over and tries to wake Autumn.

"Hey...wake up..."

Yun's face was starting to fill with fear.

Water Bender...

"... Uughh... *cough,cough*" Autumn stirred over Yun's voice. She slowly open her eye's, seeing the first thing is sand. Blinking a few times to clear up her vision, she then rose her head. "Uughhh.... what happen?" She held her head. Her cloths are wet, a bit sticky of the salty water.

Yun lets out a sigh of relief, a smile on his face and what seemed to be a tear from his eye. He wipes it away, as well as the sweat on his face. He sits down on the sand.

"I grabbed you and we jumped overboard before a giant wave could kill us. From the looks of it, we were the only survivors from the wreck. Good news is that it looks like we're in the Earth Continent."

Water Bender...

Autumn stair out to the open ocean that they must of came off. She remember it now. They were in the storm, yun was down for a second but grab her and jump off the bout into the sea. That was really scary... were they... really about to die. Looking around the shore, there ways bits of stuff from the bout. Some of the stuff that once belong to the people in the ship. Autumn eye's starts to water... then she cried. "*sob* W-we... we were almost... a-and every one is...*sob*" She took in the bad income this turn out to be.

Yun sighed, huggin Autumn to comfort her.

"Some may have been swept to other shores...but its very unlikely. Now..."

Yun gets up, fixing the pack on his back.

"We need to find a place to set up camp, most likely near a stream with fresh water. I have some rations, but in order to survive till we reach a town, we're gonna have to hunt for food."

He starts to walk up the dunes and into the grassland. The sky was a bright orange and slowly changing to a purple.

Water Bender...

Autumn stopped her cry but her mood is still the same. Depressed of being over bored, and despair being stranded on their own. She stood up, bits of sand sticking onto her with only loos/dry ones fall off. She quickly fallow Yun, know what's he's doing in a time like this. "... So... everyone is just separated... we can't be sure if they're all dead." She thought that to her mind. Their was no body's flouted to the shore, as least that can put her to ease a bit.

Yun nodded, but his voice had a bit of doubt in it.

"Possiby...Yes."

Yun continues forward for a bit more, Autumn following behind. He stops to listen to the surroundings. Waiting, focusing, finally, the sound they needed to hear. Water, fresh water. The two walk to the small stream, Yun immediately starting to set up the tent. It only took a few minutes before it was finished. And right on time, the son had set. Yun began to gather up sticks to build a fire using a piece of flint and a stone.

Water Bender...

Once they reach fresh water, Autumn head over it, kneel down and scoop up an hand full with two hands and drank up. Clean water is what she need to get rid of that salty taste in her mouth. "Aaaah~ refreshing." She is satisfied from this. Rubbing the cold water over her face to get rid the sticky salt on her. The rest of her body is still a mess though. Cloths dirty, hair tangled but she is alive. She drank some more from the water before heading back to Yun, that already made camp. Autumn sat down up to the fire place and get herself dry under the dark sky. "... how are you feeling?... You were hit hard against that wooden pole... My whole body feels numb." She felt tucker out. Lots of energy been used up just being in the ocean.

Yun felt the now healed up gash across his forehead. Thankfully, the saltwater in the ocean healed it up nice and quickly, also dissinfecting it. Before they left, he brough some back in a small container incase they ever needed it.

"I'm fine...just a bit of my pride hurt for letting something like that happen."

Yun laughs.

"You should probably go clean yourself up in the stream. You can have the tent tonight, I'll stay outside and keep watch. Don't worry, I won't peep."

Water Bender...

"o-okay." Autumn stood up and head over to stream again. The stream is a bit too small for her to dunk her whole body in to get rid of all the saltiness off of her, but she has a idea. Bending water out of the stream, she gather it up to curate a large blob of water in her control. She moved her arms above her head as it fallows and once it's above her head, she let it go. Gallon of water splashed down onto her like a bucket. Autumn then starts rubbing the suffice of her skin. She than rub her shirt together, washing up her clothing just like how they do it back home. Getting her clothes soaked in water and next her hair too, they should have gotten most of the salty sea water gone. Last thing to do was bend the water off to her and she'll be all dry.

Autumn return back. "Good night." She said before entering the tent. Crawling inside, she lay down onto the hard floor. Laying there, Autumn didn't think she can just fall a sleep right away. Today was scary, they pretty much dogged their deaths. Wrapping her arms, she shivers and shut her eyes. She's lucky that it's all over.

"There is a blanket in there that you can use."

Yun smiled, watching her go into the tent. Now it was his turn to clean up. He, too, went to the stream. Unlike Autumn, though, he just walked in and laid back, letting the stream just push all the salt and sand off his body. He looked up through the clearing at the stars. This was very nostalgic, he felt more at home here than in the northern water tribe. It him smile. After about ten minutes, he walks back up, laying his vest next to the fire and letting his body dry by it.

Water Bender...

Autumn grabbed the blanket and wrap her self in it, thinking the shivering will stop. But it doesn't much helped since the tent feels empty. "Yun..." She said out inside the tent. "I can't sleep... Can you stay in here with me till I fall asleep?" Autumn felt scared in her voice, not wanting to be along. With the inclosed tent cutting off from the world, it's pretty feel like it.

There was no response from Yun, on closer inspection, Yun was asleep next to the fire, his shirt still off to the side. How anyone could sleep in the cold night with no shirt, however, it seemed to not bother Yun at all. Despite him being tough and fearless, asleep, he looks innocent, very much human.

Water Bender...

Hearing nothing, Autumn peeked outside seeing Yun by the fire. She came out with the blanket to have a closer look and see he's actually fast asleep. That liar... he was suppose to keep watch. Already asleep before her. Well if he can't move than she'll have to join him out side.

Autumn lay next to Yun and wrap the blanket for both of them. He looks cold with out a shirt. She snuggled in and warped her hands onto one of his arms. This feels much better. With someone by her side, she fell fast asleep through out the night.
