Boredom, that was all that Rashida was feeling. She was sprawled out on a tall sand dune, basking in the sun. She hated not having anything to do, and lately it had become dull. She had seen many lions come and go, seemed many were going more than coming. Though, she didn't want to think about that. She would have thought it was sad watching those leave, though she didn't have many friends in the pride, so she didn't know it mattered for her to be sad or not. Indifference was the feeling.
She waited for a time, but no one she knew had come by. So her next thing was to pull some type of prank on the next lion or lioness she happened to see. It was simple really, and harmless. It wasn't like she wanted to hurt anyone, they just needed a good sense of humor. Even if they didn't, it'd still be amusing. She wasn't sure as of yet what she was going to do, she decided it was mostly going to depend on WHO came walking by.

Amitab was having a... well, it wasn't a bad day, but it wasn't a particularly good day either. More like a mediocre day. Nothing interesting had happened but neither had anything unfortunate. In fact Amitab was beginning to believe that nothing worth noticing was going to happen today at all. She certainly hadn't Seen anything worth notice, but then... her gift was particularly hard to trigger sometime. It required the right circumstances the right time of day, the position of the stars...
Or at least that's what the Priestess told herself. The truth of the matter was that she had no control over when her gift would activate, or the strength of her visions. The longer she went between visions, the more important they seemed to be. Her first ever vision had come when she was right on the verge of adulthood, and it had actually almost sent her into a seizure - but that was neither here nor there, because her visions would make the day interesting if nothing else, and she really didn't think that was going to happen.
And so the white lioness sighed and padded her way out into the burning hot sands, hoping (but not believing) that she might run into someone or something while she was out here to break of the sheer dullness of the day.
