The Family

In a moment of weakness, Mubina caved in and sought out a male to keep her company. Her loneliness is what drove her to do it. It was one night only with a leopard she had just met. She didn't think it would affect her life until she realized she was pregnant. By that time, Pipo was already gone, moved on with his life. Mubina decided she could raise the cubs by herself. The birth of the cubs is a moment of anger and joy to her for it reminds her that she went and slept with a male when she was still in a state of hating them. But there is joy because she now has her own little ones to take care of.
Mubina (Lilbabe80 cool : She is a very family oriented cheetah. Her heart had been broken but with the cubs comes joy to her life. She kind of hates male cheetahs right now due to the one that broke her heart because he wanted to play the field. So she will raise any male cub she has to be respectful towards all females. Pipo (Ameh): He doesn't even know the cubs exist. Mubina had no way of telling him and doesn't know where he is. He is currently traveling the rogue lands as an eligible bachelor. Sister (Cajanic) Makena (ChezaRain): Bubbly and happy and bouncy like it's no ones' business but her own.

What's a Cheepard? Name: Uangalizi Meaning: "Watchful" in swahili. Personality: As the only male in the family, Lizi feels it's his job to protect the girls, and because of this has a bit of a puffed up opinion of his own skills. He's very guarded around strangers, but in private is a complete and total mama's boy, spending hours glued to her side and trying to get her attention. He enjoys exploring as well, but only if his mama comes with him! It's very likely that Mubina will have to kick him out at adolescence, lest he continue to stay glued to her side forever. Future Plots: What am I? - Very early on in his cubhood, Lizi will begin to notice that he and his sisters are... not quite like mama. Not only can they not run quite as fast, but they don't quite... look like she does. Curious about why, Lizi will ask his mother. I'll find him for you! - Convinced that his father is simply lost (because why would he leave all the girls unprotected?), Lizi will make a promise to his mother and himself to find his father and bring him home. Whether or not he ever finds him would affect whether or not the next plot is possible. Why would you do that? - Upon meeting his father for the first time, Lizi will learn that he didn't know of his children, and will be particularly horrified by the fact that he willfully left Mubina after a mere one night stand. How could anyone ever treat a lady like that?!?

What's a Cheepard? Name: Hantaywee Meaning: Faithful in Sioux Personality: Hanta doesn't like to get hurt and tries to always follow the rules. He loves his mommy very much and doesn't want anything to happen to her. He wants to be brave, but things can get overwhelming at times. Future Plots: He looks to overcome his fears and try to protect his mom. Only, he gets spooked and ends up being the one that needs protection.

What's a Cheepard? Name: Mauli Kaipo Meaning: "Black Sweetheart" in Hawaiian Personality: He is gentle and sweet creature when it comes to females. He respects them and lives to be kind to him. in the whole family, he lives to protect his mother and sisters. Future Plots: he'll be a blank slate until adolescence.

What's a Cheepard? Name: Banakupa Meaning: "kupambana" means fight Personality: He's a mamma's boy since there is no father in the picture. Seeing other rogues with a dad in the picture had made him stronger with defending his family from any dangers. He believes that one day, he would find his father and with this, he rarely trusts males. Future Plots: (This is optional! I'm just curious.)

What's a Cheepard? Name: Kvold Meaning: Icelandic for "Dusk" Personality: A momma's boy. Kvold is her persistent shadow, never straying far from her sights. He is fairly shy, especially around a large group. Gentle and sweet, Kvold can be a good friend if you can get him to open up a bit. Quieter souls might have an easier time getting Kvold to relax than an overly rambunctious one. When with his family, Kvold is the follower, letting his mother or sisters decide things and merely following along. He is quiet and polite with them, striving to make his mother happy. He tries not to fight with his sisters when possible, going to the point of doing whatever it is they wanted to keep them happy. Growing up without a father, Kvold is determined that he will be the best father ever when he grows up! Family becomes a very important issue to him as he grows older. He could care less about finding his father; after all, what would be the point? By the time he's old enough to search for the male, Kvold is past the point of truly needing a father figure in his life. Better to put the past behind you and move on! Future Plots:Finding the ONE: Finding a mate to live up to his mother's strong influence will be tough. Kvold wonders and worries if he'll ever find a female as he seems to find something wrong with them all. They're too bossy or too clingy or... he finds something wrong with them Baby-less: The discovery of his infertility saddens Kvold, leaving him depressed. He still longs to have a cub one way or another and will search for one to adopt. Or two.... or three or four or five...

What's a Cheepard? Name: Bokeh Meaning: It is the blur, or the aesthetic quality of the blur, in out-of-focus areas of an image. It has been defined as "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light". I chose this name not only because of the Bokeh-like spots on him, but because 'blur' makes me think of a cheetah running, and the 'out of focus' aspect makes me think of the struggle of balancing the two halves of his heritage. Personality: Bokeh will develop a strong desire for harmony and balance, justice, as well as a hefty desire to see that everyone around him is happy. He hates hearing others complain or say rude things about anyone and is absolutely HORRIFIED at the thought of offending or inconveniencing anyone. That said, he also has a pretty low self esteem. He works hard to make everyone happy, even at the expense of his own. He also hates to be thought of negatively, so if he disagrees with something he is more likely to just keep quiet. Future Plots: When he learns that he is, yet isn',t a cheetah, and is, but isn't a leopard, he'll be rather conflicted with who he should be, but eventually learns just to be his own person. Another plot would be him finding someone who he absolutely can not make happy. This will cause him absolute internal turmoil, and he'll learn afterwards that you just can't make everyone happy. Becoming a little defender/growing a backbone. Bokeh will eventually learn to stand up for himself, his opinions and views, as well as others, to heck with what others might think! However despite all this he will still be the same kind, happiness-seeking guy. He just has to learn a few things! =D

What's a Cheepard? Name: Savjestan Meaning: conscientious, scrupulous, dutiful, precise, nice Personality: As a cub he doesn't quite understand why he's different from mom and his sisters. He'll start off rather feminine, thanks to only being around gals, but eventually grow out of it to be more of the 'hero' type, masculine fut fair, and always wanting to save damsels in distress, and do right by them. Future Plots:- The talk: As a cub, he thinks he's a girl too. Sooner or later, someone's gonna have to explain to the kid that he isn't. Cue hilariousness. - Puppy love: He falls for a girl, but she's just passing through/it can't be. He becomes glum, but eventually rebounds. - Not to be: Eventually he falls in true love, but, upon learning he is infertile, he doesn't tell her. Instead he opts to (if she is willing) remain by her side as a protector figure, not a lover. This should lead to lots of interesting dynamics, when/if she does take a mate/have cubs.

What's a Cheepard? Name: Usiku’kinga
Meaning: “Ward off night”
Personality: In a single word, loyal. That is the single most prominent aspect of Usik’s life that has no compromise or exception. Completely unwavering in his belief that there is no greater happiness in life than family, he devotes much of his life to their protection and wellbeing. He takes his name to heart, doing everything in his will and power to “ward off” the night, or sadness, in his family’s lives. A happy bright soul by nature, it takes real effort to upset or anger him. To him, life is uncomplicated and nothing more than an adventure that has to be taken one step at a time. His mother is an important figure in his life and he took her lessons on obedience and respect towards females to heart more seriously than perhaps even she first thought.
Because of this, a part of him always need to work towards her approval. Whether it’s catching a bigger mouse than his siblings as a cub or finding a mate and raising a family to show that she raised him right. To others, he comes across as a confident quiet stranger with a kind smile and a welcome word. He gets along well with others for the most part, though he remains aloof and wary of strangers, newcomers and those who have not fully earned his trust. Usik doesn’t really have friends, persay. Instead, he tends to view other around him as being a part of one of three categories: his true family, his extended family and the others. Once that valuable trust has earned and Usik considers someone to be a part of his “extended family”, they mean something to him in a way that could never be explained through words. If that trust is broken, there is no way to get it back. He forever remains the uncomplicated easy going gentleman his mother had wanted in her son.
Future Plots: Just a rough basic outline of a couple main ideas that can be expanded on for rp purposes.
I Love You, Mommy: Growing up with a single mom and no idea who or where his dad is plays an important shaping role in his life. This would be rp with his mother and sister as he grows up, with her teaching him over time about how to treat the women in his life and the beginning of the consuming loyalty he feels towards them.
It Was Always You: As he grows into a confident young adult, the ego and pride that comes with growing up will come into play. He is stuck fighting between the urge to go off on his own and begin a new life with children of his own and the long-held idea that he would be abandoning his family and choosing to stay for their sake. When Usik finally reaches the point of adulthood where he realizes that he has to step away from his family to find himself, he will set off across the lands on a mission to find true love. This would involve trying and failing and falling on his face a bit before finally finding the girl of his dreams.
This Was Your Fault At some point of adulthood, I’d like Usik to run into his father whether knowingly or unknowingly. Even if it’s just a random chance meeting in which neither of them know who the other is in the beginning, I think it would be important for him to finally be able to pass a sort of final “judgment” on the leopard who had influenced his life so much without ever being there.
The Prodigal Son: No matter his adventures in life or how it all turns out in the end, Usik’s loyalty towards his true family will never wane. Even if he explores all the corners of the globe and crosses the ends of the earth, he will always return home to those he loves. As an older adult, I want him to track down and find his mother again. The part of him wants her approval becomes a growing need that leaves him feeling empty until he is able to show her the good he has done with his life. Her being proud of him is all he has ever wanted.
