The jet black male with flashing stripes moved quickly within his home territory. Koehro didn't think, didn't feel, there was enough time to race back to HomeTree. He needed a herb pouch of some sort, though, especially considering most of the things he knew of would need to be steeped. His route was already going to be longer because of that simple fact. The 'Springs were out of the way, and he would have to take care on the way back. The Earth Walker could feel time press in and weigh on his capable shoulders. He had to get this done quickly, there had already been too many distractions. He'd left Hesper with only the best of intentions: run back to his territory, select the herbs he knew of based on her symptoms and pain, bring them back, and help her. But so far, a fat lot of good his intentions had done. He'd been side-tracked not once, but twice. Twice. He pinned his ears back, feeling very acutely the shame in not having a firmer grasp on his priorities, or allowing them to waver so much as they had. "A little help for me, to help her, would be very appreciated, Eywa." He cast his heartfelt plea to the heavens, even as his large body skid to a stop. The wide, long leaves would be helpful in carrying what he needed. He could do with three, but how he'd father what he needed and tote around the leaves was very unsettling. This wasn't a one-lion job.
One could say that this little blue bird was not from around the area, not did she seem to give a damn. If anyone were to ask what brought her to such a place, it would be a simple, "******** off, I am vacationing from the crazy one." along with a ruffling of tail feathers. However, she was resting now. The exotic atmosphere of the lands that lay before her making her quiver with excitement. Something interesting would be here, it was just a matter of what. Twittering happily, Pichichu decided to wait for it... and eventually it did come. In the form of a black and stripped lion. Strung out, excited and slightly annoyed. Her favorite. They were easiest to mother hen into a better situation. Clacking her beak together a couple times to gather interest from the gent below, emerald eyes glittered expectantly. Only to soon dull as her attention grew short. Wasn't he asking for help? And she was offering.... and he was ignoring her. That... that wouldn't do at all. Clacking her beak harder, the spunky blue bird dove down to greet the lion. In the best possibly way. "AYE AYE! YOU ASKED FOR HELP THEN IGNORED ME? WHAT THE HELL MAN??" Perching on the back of the lions head, Pichichu began to peck at his head wildly, then attempt to pull his ears. "Do you see me now? Huh, huh, huh? You look like you need help. So stop with the ignoring thing already!"

The animals within the Jungle. Koehro heard them creeping, squawking, crawling, growling, but paid them no heed. And this was exactly how he got into trouble, this time. The chitter-chatter and beak clicking above him was noted, but he didn't look up, as focused on his task as he was. He had to find a way to make the leaves work as a package without eventually sloshing the healing, herb-steeped water all over the place, and still keep the herbs he needed dry, dry. It was an irony: notice too much, the other two times, and now ignore, and still wind up in a heapload of trouble. The big male was just pulling three of the large leaves with murmured thanks to Eywa when he was attacked from above! "Guh!" The lion jumped to the side, as if that could and would save him from the assault by the rather insistent bird. He was so caught up in trying to escape but not harm her - shaking his head, briskly - that he almost didn't hear what she was chittering to him about. One last rapid shake of his head with a "Hey, stop, okay? I'm listening! Okay?!" Koehro finally forced himself to stillness. He pinned his ears, trying to hide them from the small bird that was adamant on having his attention. The leaves were not forgotten; Koehro was staring at them with his own vivid emerald eyes.

Quiet fond of the reaction she had received from the lion, Pichichu took a few seconds to giggle. A sharp whistling noise escaping her beak as she did so. This was definitely going to be a wonderful vacation away from Hal. Though, she did wonder why she always involved herself in other characters messes...
"Oh well, what is done is done."
Lifting herself into the air suddenly, Pichichu landed close to the leaves that Koehro had been plucking, watching him intently. Then, clicked her beak happily.
"Now that I have your full attention, I, Pichichu will help you in whatever quest you are on." Starting to pace about, she gathered her thoughts, glancing at him every now and again to make sure he was looking in her direction.
"So! What is it you need help with, stranger?"

Koehro seated himself with a slight thump and heaved a sigh. It wasn't that he wasn't grateful for the help--quite the contrary. But time was tick-tocking away, and he was getting antsy and anxious. Hester had seemed okay, but what she'd said still greatly worried him.
"I need to collect a selection of herbs...and hot water to steep some in. That's what the leaves are for. Holding the water. But I can't collect the herbs and hold the pouch." Yes. A sad realization indeed. He bowed his head after looking at Pichichu with a beseeching gaze. "I would be indebted to you if you really will give me your kind-hearted aid."

Indebted... She really enjoyed that word. A word that basically enslaved another just because they are grateful for some help. Yes, she could help if he would be indebted to her. Yes... yes she absolutely could.
"Just tell me what'cha need nabbed mate. I can fly about and get what you need easily. " Winking, the emerald-eyed bird took to the air and waited for the male to direct her. Almost excited about her luck.
