It was a hot mid-summer day on hemlock. Mika tied her hair back to keep herself from over heating. She walked around the chaotic streets of the island. She chuckled to herself and plotted causing some destruction herself. "What to do what to do..." she mumbled to herself with a disturbing grin on her face.

Lyra yawned, lounging in the shade of a palm tree by the beach. Just a short ways away was the city, a large boisterous place positively overflowing with the fear she needed to stay strong. It hadn't taken her long to find the city once she left her mother's home. One night her mother went out for a walk, when she returned, she had been carrying an egg. Needless to say, Lyra hadn't been too happy. She had helped raise the baby, a brother her mother named Daichi. When he became an adult, it was obvious he didn't like either of them and had parted. Lyra followed suit, leaving soon after.
Lyra had settled into the city a few days after, and managed to get everything she needed. At the moment, her home was bare, but it was clean and it was hers. All she had to do was find someone suitable to live there with. Kal, her treasured third eye, hovered nearby, watching for anyone who might meet the requirements.

Mika continued roaming around until she came to the end of the city and the start of the beach. she thought to herself :thank the gods: and ran into the water. She laid on the back and let herself float.

After lounging for a few minutes, a flash of dark fur peeled past her towards the water. Snapping her fingers, Kal spun around to keep an eye on the meanki. Lyra closed her eyes and saw through Kal. Using his ability to see farther and better than she could, Lyra was able to keep a sharp eye on the female. She took in the dark fur, the striped tail, the spots on her hands and feet, even the bright green hair that reminded of her of her brother's tail. All in all, the meanki was quite pretty.
With a dark grin she decided she'd give the girl something to listen to while she floated. Keeping her eyes closed, she opened her mouth and began to sing a haunting melody. The sound filled the air, sending chills down the spines of any nearby fae. Lyra felt herself grow warm from the joy that flooded her with her song.

Mika's ears were under the water but she herd a faint hum, she lifted her head up "What the heck?" She said and started swimming towards the creepy tune. Once she got closer to the shore the haunting music grew louder, She could now make out a fae on the beach and what looked like a eyeball designed beach-ball. "What in Faetasia is going on?" she asked herself and swam onto the beach. She approached the other female and noticed that she was singing "Your music..." she said to her "Its spine-chilling..."

Ears quirking in response to the sound, Lyra continued her song for a few moments after the meanki has addressed her, Kal watching for any threatening motions. As the song came to a close, Lyra let the last note linger in the air, spine-chilling and yet so beautiful at the same time. Bright green eyes gazed up at the other, wisps of her light blue hair tangled and caught on the erratic breeze. "Thank you," her voice echoed ever so slightly, haunting without singing a note. "I hope you found it. . .pleasing," Lyra calmly stated in an almost monotone voice.

Mika almost stares at Lyra. She did enjoy the song a bit but at the same time it kinda creeped her out. The fae's song made her feel dark and grim, Mika kinda liked it. "What's your name?" she asked, stepping out of the water, it dripping from her dark fur.

"Lyra," she introduced herself with a cool smile. Pointing to her floating eyeball, her smile warmed ever so slightly. "This is Kal; he's my eye," she explained. Bright green eyes watched the meanki almost expressionlessly. "What would your name be?" she asked, flicking her hair over her shoulder. Kal hovered a little closer, turning to watch the rest of the beach for any who would cause her harm.

((silly random rofl btw, i had completely forgotten about this and mika has since found a mate sad I feel bad now.... we can still rp?)) Mika's tail swished behind her and she said "My name is Mika." She looked at the eyeball and cocked her head to the side, she had never seen anything like it and was tempted to poke it but decided against it.

"Mika? That's an interesting name," Lyra commented, rather liking the name. "Do you sing, Mika?" she asked quizzically.
((xD It's all good. Lyra has tried to get me to offer her to a couple other fae but I resisted cuz I wasn't sure. Besides, they can always be friends. 3nodding ))
