{PRP}Daddy's Time With His Girls {Desher-bik family Orp}

Desher-bik was probably the happiest lion in the whole pride. His mate had recently birthed a large litter of seven girls. They were the most adorable cubs he'd ever seen. It didn't bother him the least they were all girls. Each one was perfect in his eyes. So far, one for sure was definately showing signs of the disease that had caused blindness in their mother. He was particularly attentive toward her to make sure she didn't step wrong.

Today he was taking his girls out for a father and daughters day. Well it really wasn't out, but he wanted to think of it like that. A special area had been cleared of hazard near the entrance to the temple were the dens were. This would be their first time outside since being born. He was excited and eager; hearding his brood of girls before him.

"You all will like this. Plenty of soft sand to romp in and the sun is nice and warm today. Let me know if you girls need anything." He nuzzled one fondly and gave another a quick lick on the top of her head.






********* Mir-sher, often called ********* for short, pranced forward with her sisters. She held her head high. Bright gold eyes wide open to catch every new thing. It was exciting and new! The dark cub twitched her tail eagerly side to side. She wanted to explore and pounce on things. ********* glanced around at her siblings then looked up at her father.

Her nostrils flared and her eyes slitted with the bright sunshine. She felt the breeze ruffle her fur and giggled. So many things to see. Other pride members walking by caught her attention. ********* stared, until her attention caught on a passing butterfly. "Oooooooo."

Maha-Asyun walked over the sand feeling them push down over her weight, though she was a tiny cub, following her siblings and her father delighting in the outing they were going to have on this beautiful day. Looking around her, Maha took in all the sights and sounds pressing on the sands below her paws to stand next to one of her siblings. The young cub's attention went to her father blinking cutely. "Papa...Are you going to play with us?"

Ahmes followed close to Desher, close enough to trip him up if she wasn't careful, as he lead them outside. Every so often she would blink a few times quickly to clear her vision, interrupting her study of the world around them. Her ears at attention and swerving this way and that to catch any interesting sounds that might come with the new sights. "It's bright." She said and squinted her eyes slightly. "Is it always this bright Daddy?" She asked and turned her silver eyes to him with a curious look.

Like the bold little thing that Kanika was, she pranced right ahead of her father, tail twitching and swaying with great confidence, a clear pep in her step. A smile was brimming on her little maw, pale eyes gazing at their surroundings with great interest. She quite enjoyed the sand under her soft, dainty paws, how it sunk under her will, and provided a soft cushion. Peeking back ever so often to her sisters, she looked especially up to her father, making sure she had his attention. She even turned to walk between his front paws, rubbing up against one from time to time with a little purr, trying to hog what she could of his affections, "Papa, I like it out here!" she piped up, skinny tail curling around his front arm as she pranced forward again, only to leap up onto a submerged large rock that was an excellent perch. Walking along it, getting higher up than her siblings, she puffed up her chest proudly, and called out to her father, "Look at me, papa~!"

Desher was excedingly grateful for the experiences of raising his brother's daughter. He betted that he would need every bit for this handful. Fondly he smiled down at the group. A quick glance around assured the new father that all was well.

"This way girls. ********* that's a butterfly." He grinned at her breathless exclaimation. "They come in lots of colors and shapes." The tawny lion moved toward the sand following Maha. He gave a soft reassuring laugh, "anything you'd like." As he walked, one eye always seemed to be on Ahmes. Both to avoid tripping over the small cub and to keep her close.

He settled down in approximately the middle of the sandy area. A nod preceeded his answer along with a purr. "It is bright now Ahmes. This is called day. And no not always this bright. When it's not day then its the color of your mother's coat." Desher leaned close to rub his cheek against hers.

His eyes had followed the spunky movements of Kanika. She was sure of where she was going he noted. When his eye hadn't been on her sibling it was on her. He laughed and rubbed his legs against her sides as she walked, nudging her from leg to leg. "Hahah we'll that's good! You certainly couldnt' stay inside forever." His tail twitched from where he sat when she jumped atop the rock. She'd be ok. It was a small rock, he told himself.



********* tilted her head to watch the fluttering creature. "Pretty, I can't wait to see more." She bounded after the group as they got the sands. Her sibling's Maha's question prompted her to pounce on the other cub. "I'll play with you Maha! Whacha wanna play?" Her tail flopped eagerly.

She looked up as her father talked about the sky. Like mother's pelt? She looked at her body before looking back to Desher. "And mine too Papa?" ********* made a quick check on Ahmes to be sure she was alright. She giggled as one sister hopped up onto a rock and puffed her chest out.

Maha perked up at her father's words and smiled brightly. "Yay anything!" She said her child like mind taking it in stride. Looking over at her sisters she noted that each one of them were starting to show their personalities and liked that her sisters were all different. Thinking on that she didn't think there was anything different about herself since she seemed normal and was more balanced. Yet right now was not the time to contemplate personalities. It was sunny and ********* asked what she wanted to play. "Let's play tag!" Maha bounded to ********* giving her a gently pat with her paw and ran off. "********* is it!" Laughed the pretty cub.

Ahmes looked over at Kanika when she bounced onto the rock and swished her tail in amusement then blinked a few times. It looked like fun but she stayed where she was for the moment before possibly following her. "So when it's not day everything is mama and ********* colored? Why is there day and not day?" She asked and purred at the cheek rub. She moved to lean against him and looked over at ********* and Maha as they started to play.

Standing as tall and proud as she could muster, Kanika gazed down at her sisters and father, feeling somewhat on a higher level with her elevated height. Tail flicking and twitching behind her, smug expression strewn across her features, the little lioness called out once again, "I can dance up here too, papa!" she announced, proceeding to show off to him. She circled the rock, and pounced about. Of course, being one so young, and not quite in full control of her body, the little cubbin wasn't entirely a graceful sight... but she did the best she could, even humming a tune she'd heard in the pride to add effect.

Desher nodded approvingly as his first-born immediately offered to play. He gave a soft chuckle, “yes *********. Like yours too.” His gold eyes twinkled. Luckily ********* distracted her sister before Maha got carried away. He would have to watch what he said or promised them. It was going to be hard.

“Yes Ahmes. Your “not day” is called night. It is so the sun can sleep and so can we. It is a time to rest.” He purred as she leaned up against him. “Do you want to go play with them or Kanika?” He asked softly.

Desher nodded his head in time with Kanika’s tune. He did his best not to catch his breath as she danced. If she started to fall, he’d be right there to catch her. “Excellent dance Kanika! I think your mother would love to hear it.” And be it somewhere flatter, he added to himself.



********* laughed as her sister immediately started a game of tag. She allowed herself to become ‘it’ and waited to give her a bit of a head start. “Here I come! Ahmes! Kanika! Are you playing too?” Not waiting for a reply, she pounced after Maha.

Maha ran off as fast as her little legs could take her, the sand making it a bit difficult as it would sink under a bit from her paws yet it made her laugh happily. "Come get me *********> There was no way she was going to be caught until she made a misstep and tripped forward, rolling in her fall.

Ahmes nodded as Desher answered his question and swished her tail. "Makes sense that the sun needs sleep like we do." She said and looked from her father to her sisters as they asked if she wanted to play. After a moment she nodded then stood up and took off after ********* and Maha with a soft giggle.


(Sorry about that, school/vacation made my muse go on strike for a bit)
