 Titos kept low to the ground, trying to hide himself in the shade of the cacti as best as he could. Slowly and as quietly as the young cub could manage, he sneaked towards the small rock formation and the bird perched on it.
He'd been at this for a while now, slowly crawling closer to the feathered creature. His siblings were all off doing their own thing and he had no one to play with. He spent a couple of hours running and jumping among the rocks, doing training exercises he'd made up for himself. Eventually he got bored of doing that on his own and that's when he noticed the bird near by.
Suddenly the bird became startled and flapped it's wings, ready to take to the air. Giving a silly little roar Titos made a quick jump, but he couldn't get even within five feet of it, before it pushed away from the rock and flew away.
"Aww, c'mon!" He whined, staring after it longingly and stomping with his little paw in disappointment. The cub had really believed he could catch the bird. He flopped down where his 'prey' had been with a huff and looked around to see what had scared it.

Urith couldn't help but snicker from his hiding spot which wasn't really much of one. he was a bit of a trickster who was the one that plotted to mess up Titos' little mock hunt of the bird when he had saw him and had successfully done so shortly after getting into position. "oh crap." was all he said in a low voice when he realized he had gotten loud with his snickering which caused him to place his paws over his muzzle to quiet himself. sadly he figured he probably already gave away his position but he couldn't help but try to go quiet again to make sure Titos did not hear him while he had snickered. ear's perked, he listened for Titos as he tried his hardest to be quiet and not found. but it wouldn't be hard for Titos to find the pure white cub with black markings.

Titos thought her heard snickering behind him. 'Aha!' He turned around, determined to find whoever had scared his bird away, no matter how well they were hidden. His perch on the rocks gave him a good vantage point and he spotted a white something nearby.
He jumped down and with a few more quick jumps he made it's way to it, speaking as he approached: "You know, you're not very well hidden there, I could spot you a mile away with that white fur."
"Did you scare my bird away?" He added once he was standing in front of the 'it', who turned out to be another male cub. He wasn't really mad, but he was very annoyed and it showed in the look he gave the other cub.

Urith pouted when he got caught as he had really wanted to stay hidden away but it seemed he had not been as ninja as he wanted to be. " i'm pretty sure my white fur makes me better at hiding in the sand than your bright red." he now had a grin on his face when the other cub mentioned the bird. " what if i did? i don't think there is anything you can do about a bird being scared off by someone else. for all you know it could of been a accident." still grinning, he wondered if the other cub would figure out it was all his fault.

Titos pouted as his witty remark didn't achieve the desired effect, but was easily brushed off by the white cub. "Well I bet I could find better cover." He returned, not letting himself be one-upped.
"Well, no....I couldn't do much I suppose." He said begrudgingly, looking away from the other cub. He would be very embarrassed if it turned out he'd wrongly blamed him. The idea of being wrong didn't appeal to him very much. Then he remembered the snickering. "But I heard someone laughing and I don't see anyone else but us here. If you scared the bird on accident, as you said, why were you hiding?" Titos gave a small smile, patting himself on the shoulder for his quick thinking.

" i never said i had been the one to scare it. i said what if i had done it. and what if it was a accident." Urith was amused and was trying his best to weave his lie so that Titos would end up realizing he never did it when he had. " and i could of been hiding for lots of reasons. like playing hide and seek with my brothers and sisters. or maybe i saw who scared the bird and laughed at them then decided to hide so i wouldn't get blamed." oh how he was having fun giving a bunch of different options for what happened when in fact the truth was it had been all his fault.
