 This is a personality contest and a raffle for two cubs who are part of the above pride. The banner (stolen from Feylin) links back to the pride. If you don't know it please read up on the pride before entering. These cubs are important in the current plot.

.:: RULES ::.
- The usual ones. Have fun and don't whine.
- The cubs are to stay in the pride. No Pirate flings in the future!
.:: IC INFORMATION ::.
- THE CUBS WILL ONLY BE BORN AFTER THE OPEN RP ENDS.
- Akatta and Njal are traditionalists. This means they believe in the old customs (things like females shouldn't be allowed to become Reavers and Thrall cubs should not be allowed to become full members of the pride, that sort of stuff)
- They were an arranged marriage but they're very happy.
- Njal is a bold and strong warrior, Akatta is gentle and sweet but both are equally firm in their beliefs.
- They will encorage boldness in their sons and proper behavior in the females.
- Akatta will encorage the girls to show interest in what she hopes will be their future roles: handling thralls, managing a den, cub-rearing, etc... Hunting is for Thralls and fighting is for boys. She might also try to arrange marriages with suitable matches from old blood families (that might be difficult IC). Obviously, it's your choice who your girl ends up with but please don't pair your girl with an abusive lion saying that it was an arranged marriage. Akatta would be terribly picky with who gets to marry one of her precious girls and Njal would most likely kick the offending lion's butt into oblivion.
- SPOILER: It might be obvious for those who read the last page of the open rp but the fight is nearing the end and Njal will win. This means he'll be the next Warlord which definitely adds some pressure to his cubs.

.:: THE FAMILY ::.
Njal - A strong Reaver with traditionalist views. A stubborn lion, he's rather set in his ways. As a father he will be loving and attentive, if somewhat intolerant of certain anomalies. Time will be divided between his duties as a Warlord and time with his family, as well as he can manage.
Akatta - A dutiful wife. Akatta is gentle and always looks for the best in others but she can be terribly firm in her traditionalist beliefs. She will dedicate all her time to her family.
Njord (wooga paes) - Looks up to his father and aspires to be like him. Njord is a deal more ambitious than pa, and more boisterous. He likes attention, particularly from his parents, and learning how to be generally awesome.
Soturi (Mogami) - He's name means "Warrior" in Finnish and that's what he'll aim to be. He's a little tough guy, always looking for a good spar and he's very protective of his sisters.
Naaja (Princess_Feylin) - She likes to be around people, particularly if there is juicy gossip to be had. She will immediately repeat it to everyone she likes, believing that will make her popular. She doesn't tend to think much about the consequences of her actions.

Custom Cubs:
Niklas (Hopefolly) - He adores his mother and sisters, but will discourage the latter from pursuing "dangerous" ranks and instead hopes they will be dutiful homebodies to help raise the next batch of warriors. Likewise, he is rough with his brothers and other males. His father will be admired more as a model of what all should aspiring to (especially him) and not simply a parent.
Heidrún (L1m3_gr33n_sh4rp13) - Heid will be a mindful cub. She will also do what is expected or asked of her, but in her own mind she is constantly questioning everything and wishing for something more. Prone to day dreaming she often takes off by herself to sit somewhere quiet, within the pride lands, and just images herself as a powerful battle maiden who gets to go on Vikings and see adventure and bring home glory and thralls. (she will keep these wishes secrete)

 This will be a simple raffle but this cub is open to current Stormborn members only. Anyone who has 3 or more open rps in the pride gets one ticket. If you have 10 open rps, you get 2 tickets. I will check the rps myself, so don't worry about it (if I can't find it, I'll just ask you to provide the links).

Name: Zoa Katika Vivuli (Goes by Zoa)
Meaning: Sweep in the Shadows
Personality: Zoa will be very firm in her roots and pride traditions. Even as a young cub she will not tolerate anything less then expected from her pride. She take's her roll's very seriously and will even put them above her personal relationships. She is rather quiet but when she does speak it is with a sharp tongue and strong opinion, she does not allow room for exceptions.
Future Plans (Brief, please!): I would love for her to meet someone she has a deep connection with that can challenge her and her pride traditions just to roleplay out how she would handle it.(Like maybe a crush verse pride thing)

Meaning: help, mercy
Personality: A bit shy and very sweet, Eira enjoys learning everything she needs to know from her mother while taking care of her brothers. She'll become quite interested in healing and medicine, and will most likely end up being a rather skilled healer on top of a good mother. Hardy like her father but caring like her mother, she'll be a tough girl once she grows up, ready to help anyone who needs it no matter the time or place.
Future Plans (Brief, please!): Helping to heal a brother or friend after an injury during her younger years (juvie/adol), learning important lessons from mom as far as being a dutiful lioness goes, perhaps becoming something of a traveling medic for lions to take on rougher missions in case of injury.

Name: Saaru
Meaning: Finnish for noble lady or princess
Personality: Her name stands for exactly what she will be as she grows up. She will admire and honor the traditional values of her parents and hold her mother in very high respects. She will follow her mother around as much as she can to learn more about how to act and be a proper lady. She will be there every time to greet her father and brothers when they return after helping her mother keep the den for them while they are gone. She would even try to take on the task of watching over her siblings as a way to prove herself as a proper lady. When she becomes an adolescent and adult, she will hold tight to the values her parents teach her and would try to instill them in her own cubs eventually.
Future Plans (Brief, please!): RP with the family (interaction with her brothers and father and instruction from her mother, time with her sisters), I would be very open to having her set up in an arranged marriage, and would love to have her meet other ladies in the pride to learn more about what will be required for her to know when she grows up

Name: Åliggande (or "Ali")
Meaning: duty or obligation (in Icelandic)
Personality: Obedient to a fault, Ali is the quintessential dutiful daughter. She is apt to follow orders, commands, or mere requests before considering her own wants and desires. Eager to start a household of her own, she tends to come off as bossy or even cold towards those deemed beneath her while entertaining ever passing whim or fancy of someone she means to impress. Fascinated by fairy tales, myths and general story-telling, Ali may wistfully sigh while be regaled by fanciful notions, but she has no intent of trading a life of pleasant wifehood and family for uncertainty.
Future Plans (Brief, please!): Arranged marriage would definitely be a go because she would do as told, frankly, but I would also like to see a situation where her family loyalty is maybe put to the test. Family would win out, of course, but it would be interesting for her to have to say no to someone that mattered - whoever that might be.

Name: Sanna
Meaning: "Lily flower", Scandinavian.
Personality: Sanna is a quiet, prim little cub, who wants nothing more than to be a traditional female. Unfortunately.... she's rather clumsy, and a bit inept at most feminine tasks. She's a hard worker, though, and tries her very best to be the lady she knows she is inside. Part of her clumsiness is due, in fact, to her being rather strong - something which she tries to hide because she doesn't want to be mistaken for a fighter. Despite her slight obsession with being a proper lioness, she isn't afraid to step up and stop an argument or a fight if she feels it warrants interference, and if push comes to shove can throw her weight around with other cubs.
Future Plans (Brief, please!): This is a little vague at the moment, but some ideas include Sanna trying (and failing) to be a true traditionalist daughter, her strength causing her embarrassment, and perhaps eventually finding a position within the pride that will strike a balance between who she is and who she desires to be. Be her path found by an arranged marriage or by something else entirely, I would be fine with whatever happened to shape this little cub.

Name: Vænnsinni
Meaning: Beautiful Host in Old Norse
Personality: Vænn is every bit the proper lady her mother raised her to be. She shows no interest in fighting and takes a great deal of pleasure out of micromanaging every little detail of the lives surrounding hers. The little details that go into managing a household never cease to thrill her, and she won't hesitate to give an incompetent Thrall a good tongue lashing for fumbling a task. Beneath her fur lies the heart of a strict disciplinarian - room for error doesn't exist in her presence. If she can't do a task perfectly in a timely fashion, she believes she has no reason to be doing it in the first place. After all, why should she strive for anything less than perfection? Failure won't do her any good and she refuses to accept it in herself, even if it means pushing herself to her limits.
Future Plans (Brief, please!): Vænn might be a little tricky to find an arranged marriage for, if only because she's likely be as picky about her future husband as her mother would be. I'd love to do some roleplay of the two of them bonding over what constitutes being a "proper" lady, and maybe even a little polite gossip on all the possibilities for her future husband. And of course, family roleplay is a must have. I'm sure Vænn will get on someone's nerves with how much of a perfectionist she is. neutral
