My work schedule plus, a few other things, have gotten in the way of most of the things that are done for pleasure. mostly my boyfriend and I have been working. there have been a lot of parties and such with friends due to various birthday parties. We've done a lot of movie nights, when possible. Work schedules don't always match up for that.
Little bit of magic the gathering, some video games, but mostly working and sleeping. when possible on weekends we tend to go out a bit more. Plus we're looking into better paying jobs, better places to live, maybe some pets. No thoughts on having a child, buying a house, or getting married. But, better paying jobs, and a better apartment would be nice.

If I substitute teach for 5 days a week where my parents live I could get like 1200$ a month.

I'm not a teacher, I'm a social worker, well, assistant to the 2 main ones, but I still get a case load of students to work with. I work at two schools, for full time technically. I'm looking for a full time job at a single school. My actual interest of study was social work, but not school based.

And I'd rather get holidays off by workingat schools. My brother is about to get 3 weeks of for Winter Break. sad

You don't really get vacations working at a school. not when you're full time. Most of the summer is spent working to prepare for the fall. and a fair amount of the Winter is preparing for the spring. Teachers don't stop working when schools out. neutral At least not the teachers that work in a school and plan to keep their job for many years.

Well my brother is an ACTUALLY MATH TEACHER so he is gonna get 3 weeks off. Dec 14 is his last day and he gets 3 weeks of. And he doesn't plan to work at the same school he is at now so he will try to get a job at some better district in such. but being a sub is awesome where my parents live. 80$ a day is like the best ever. Just 2 minutes to talk in front of the class and take role then you sit on your a** at the desk for a while, then repeat 3 to 6 times depending on what the class' schedule is. That simple. If they act like little dicks then threaten to give a bad report and start taking names and send their ******** assess to the office. Now that i am the teacher I get the power, rather than being the useless student sitting in the back row and have nothing to do to make the class to shut up.

Normal teachers have workshops, meetings, and lesson plans to plan. grades to complete and hand in.
I have the advantage that I don't need to do lesson plans, but I do need to get into contact with families and such to get proper information or changes to medicine or the like.
You sound like you'd be a terrible teacher. I don't know why any school would hire you as a part time, full time, or substitute teacher.

Only if the students are loud and stupid. sad I'd be like my brother Blaine, an easy teacher who grades easily. My brother Blaine would do anything to have me be a sub for his class, cuz he said the actual subs suck and don't do anything and don't even leave reports. My moms already a sub and is going to be an elementary school teacher. And my brother Brandon may end up subbing after he graduates as well, but I think he should be a counselor. School counselor would be better since they get holidays off.

And if you think I'd be terrible teacher? DO you honestly think I'd do any better at a place like Mcdonalds or Walmart being a sales associate? I'd rather deal with teens rather than scary community people.
I'd rather just talk for 1-2 minutes and take roll call and then sit at the desk for the rest of the period, and then repeat 3-6 more times. Mostly sitting down doing nothing. Much better than working in a stressful face-paced environment like walmart and mcdonalds where I'm doing something all the time probably and will tire myself out for 8 hours.
