[1v1] OMNOMNOM ( Muka vs. Ceres )

The strix didn't often find himself swept up into the Haunted House. The last time had been a group throwdown with horsemen and though he'd been in for fun and games, some of the others had seemed awfully serious about it. Thankfully Muka had a good outlook on most things and this time, upon discovering himself in strange pathways, had merely shifted into owl form and taken a nice long fly.

He found himself in a kitchen. A HUGE kitchen. It was like the kitchen for a giant. Even in his massive natural form he was only as big as a single teacup and he couldn't even see if there was a ceiling somewhere above him.

One drawback to being in a kitchen.... it made him hungry. OvO

Hmm.. it was also oddly chilly. Did they leave the giant fridge open?

BATTLE EFFECT: ALL STUDENT/ HUNTER HP IS HALVED. You feel tired.... cold...numb. It becomes increasingly hard to focus as the battle draws on.

Well this was....odd. Ceres mused as she leaned against a pepper shaker. A giant one... she seemed to be a few feet shorter than it. Hell, even a bowl here looked as large as a swimming pool to her. This place sure took her to the oddest places. She suddenly felt like Jack, waiting for some sort of giant to come through and grind her bones to salt.

It had been quite some time since she came to the haunted house, pawning off this patrol duty on some other hunter whom seemed to enjoy the upside down world that merged the human with halloween. Still she knew she needed to get back in to things, needed to put forth effort. Her boyfriend woke up every morning to train hard while she chose to sleep in... while it was awesome being woken up by him when she was sleeping at his place, she felt as if she needed to put forth more effort. Maybe she would try and keep up with his routine, even though it would probably kick her a**.

Ceres thought on and on about these things as she opened her hip pack and pulled out a bar of chocolate. It was funny really. She had taken habit to carrying food items along with her medical supplies. Both for her, and for other hunters. Sometimes they were in bad predicaments and ended up not eating for days. A hungry hunter is a cranky one, so she took packing her bag seriously.

She didnt open the bar fully, not wanting her body heat to melt it against her exposed gloves. She loved her gloves, hated they were white. Taking a bite of it she pushed away from the object and started to move around once more. What the hell would she find in a giant kitchen? A trash monster?

A rustle of plastic wrap.

It was like a siren call for any hungry animal. Muka sailed overhead and kept his sharp eyes out for anything odd in the sea of silver pots and pans and white tile floor. There was something moving. White and red.

Another candy wrapper noise.

A large shadow would pass over Ceres but as she glanced up.... there was nothing there.

Pausing just briefly she fiddled with her scarf once more, hoping that wrapping is around her neck again would remove some of its length. It helped, but it didnt solve the problem. Growling she took another large bite from the chocolate, continuing to walk around on the large counter top. She really hoped that there really wasnt a giant living here. She was not exactly big enough to take something THAT big on alone.

Almost as if her thoughts were heard, a shadow passed over her. Chocolate transferred into her left hand, her right was suddenly gripping against her blade. She looked up, glaring at the huge lights pounding down on her eyes and making her harder to see.

Nothing was there.

"The hell..?" A moment later she decided to move under the giant cabnets looming above. It was not much cover.... but she could see better in the shade than the lights.

Was she just being paranoid?

He could hear the rustling and the moving. The strix's hearing was impeccable, better than his other senses, and he was able to pinpoint where the hunter had scrambled out of sight. He landed on top of the cabinet but was so far up and out of reach that the spot seemed pretty ineffective.

Muka fluttered down making nothing but a soft noise of feathers, and crept towards Ceres out of sight and around the corner of the cabinet. There was soft clicking of talons on linoleum and then, suddenly, his massive head popped out of nowhere and his beak snapped for her chocolate bar!

She didn't hear anything, even the faintest flutter of his feathers was not enough. Maybe she was listening too hard. It was making her super paranoid, looking out towards the larger part of the room when she should have been paying more attention to closer.

The Talons clicking was what made her turn, when suddenly out of no where...

"EEEK HOLY s**t WHAT." She pulled the arm holding the chocolate back instinctively, and not....really using the sword at all, she instead lashed out and tried to punch the face away.

"Eeek!" Muka imitated her, finally appearing fully in front of the hunter and almost dancing in place with spread wings. He then burst into full laughter. "Gimme!"

With a student he might have been more polite but witha hunter? EH. Whatever. Ceres' punch had hit fluff and feathers and thankfully he was pliable. His massive head snapped towards her hand again. OMNOM!

WHen his full form came out of the dark, she couldn't stop the step she took backwards. This is one HUUUUGGEEEEE bird.

Whom just bit her finger, in the process of....

".....You ate my chocolate!" She noticed eyes wide, gasping at her hand. Sure he bit her too, but the chocolate loss was more a worry to her. Chocolate kept her happy this time of the month. He had managed to take a NICE chunk from it too, she just had maybe a section or two of it left hidden in the wrapper. How the hell did he not manage to take some of the foil with him?

"You....ate my chocolate!" She repeated once more.... a bit more angry this time. b***h took her food! Sure she probably had another stashed in her bags, but that was for later. Lifting her single handed blade, she decided justmatbe to take a part of the loss out on his hide. Never steal a womans chocolate, bro.

"Oohh heee!" Muka chomped messily on the bar, chunks flying around from his massive toothed beak. "Got more? AHHHhahaha.." The sword came out him, the strange human thing screeching about the chocolate still. He hopped backwards but the swipe took a chunk of feathers.

"Mean ghoul.." His beak clacked with a bit of annoyance. "I'll take chocolate... to forgive you?" Another rough snicker and Muka snapped for her hip bag. He was feeling sluggish as the cold of the room seemed to be sapping his strength.

"No more chocolate for you." She said, glaring a little more. Barely moving her hips out of the way as he came at her bag she managed to bop him on his head. Still it was not enough, his beak grabbed ahold of the snap and pried it open. The contents of the bag flung out across the floor. It was a mix of healing items and food. Some band-aids, some ointments, a few granola bars, tiny bags of chips, and even one last bar of chocolate.

"......Dont you dare." She glared at him.

Muka hissed at the strong whack to his head but at least he'd gotten her bag open. The strix flapped his wings, hopped, and double kicked her away from the spilled contents so he could rummage through it and find all the food.

He leaned over and flung anything not edible away with his beak.
