Hello Everyone,

As everyone knows I have accomplished Farming as my 3rd level 99 in the current RuneScape. However, I am not going for level 99 in 2007, even though it is extremely fun and addicting.
This thread is made to help you know a little trick and tips about farming in 2007. Some methods that I use that I believe are useful, effective, convenient, or somewhere around the line of just helpful.
This thread is also an On-Going project of mine. I currently have lvl 39 farming in 07. I am trying my hardest not to farm everyday or every hour on the hour.

General Tips

It is all best to try and get lvl 58 theiving so you can get your seeds fast, just a great suggestion as it is hard to come by with seeds without buying them. But Ofcourse, other methods can be used such as: asking a friend to steal, you can also kill monster, catch implings, or rather painful buy them.

Try to get as much transportation access as you can.
-- Spirit Tree
-- Balloon System (lvl 30 farming required and it gives you willow seed)
-- Teleport
-- Canoe (hatchet and woodcutting)
-- Necklaces and rings

Sacks and baskets are your friends. They store your harvest, saves you inventory space.
--Sacks - Potatoe, Onions, Cabbages
--Baskets- Tomatoes, Strawberries, Apples, Oranges, Bananas....

Payment. Paying the farmer to look over your crops is a must!

Super Compost. Always use Super.

* Banking your Super Compost from the Tree Leprechaun is easy to do with very minimum walking to the bank. Replenishing your bucket supply is too.

* Always bring money on Full Farm runs. No need to bring sacks or baskets as you can run to the store to buy the sack/basket saving you inventory room.

* Replenish your Compost, via leprechaun, in Catherby's Farming Store.

*Catherby is the best place to buy and bank your Cater Ship items

* Wear weight reducing clothes

* Just bank your items.

Know your route Tips
================

You got to strategically plan out your routes.
1) Know your farming level. This gives you the idea of what you can plant and what patches you can use.

2) Know what the farming locations are and what they are. Hate going to a bush patch at Champion Guild thinking it was Full patch. (Never happened to me but mini maps don't tell ya much)

2) Know your transportation availability. (This is a must, your farming routes will change as more transportation is available)

3) Know what farmer payments are. (I hate to plant seeds that I don't have payments for... it is a game of chance and the house usually wins)

==========
Sacks and Baskets Fillers
==========
Payment is needed to pay the farmers for higher tier seeds. If the payment is something you can avoid planting yourself and that you can easy get somewhere else. Do it that way. The following items and locations is where you can go collect and not having to worry about planting them.

What you do is, take Several Sacks/Baskets and collect the fruit/veggie. Store them in the sack/Basket. No need to farm them. Just a little work but quicker than farming 'em.

Explain to me how farming can be... "addicting"

You just run around every few hours and check plants. Booring!

I kid I kid. Thanks for the guide, D2T! If I start farming on 07Scape, I'll use your methods of destruction ;o

I loved farming.
I even grew potatoes because Ren told me it was fun.
I admit that it was, but the time and exp was not lining, though I did have a lot of tuna potatoes
