Today I am going to review School 2103. This drama can teach you a lot, who knows, your children may be in this kind of predicament.
This drama is about real life bullying, and how it can effect others. It also shows bonds of friendship, betrayal, and guilt towards your friends. Lee Jong Suk plays an ex-delinquent, Goo Nam Soon, trying to get by high school. It's bad enough he gets beat up, but he lives alone while his father is out drinking everyday.
One day, the three bullies Oh Jung Ho, Lee Ji Hoon, and Lee Ki Kyung call him over and ask him for money, like every other bully would do. But when he deny's, of course he gets beat up, but then his ex-best friend (Park Heung So, played by Kim Woo Bin) who he feels sorry towards for giving him fatal injury, his school life changes.
This drama shows that bullies have their own stories, but if we give them a chance, then maybe we can find they have a heart. Oh Jung Ho's mother left him when he was a child because of his abusive father. His father beats him and drinks a lot, and he has so much anger in him. His homeroom teachers Jung In Jae (played by Jang Na Ra) and Kang Se Chan (Danial Choi) give him a chance to shine. But does Oh Jung Ho really want it? Would you give him a chance?
We also have best friends, and that nothing will get in between them. Song Ha Kyung (Park Se Young) and Lee Kang Joo (Hyo Young) have a tight bond, like sisters. Song Ha Kyung is the top student, but keeps hearing bad talk about her all around her. And Lee Kang Joo can't stand hearing it, and always supports her. But what would happen when the care free Lee Kang Joo does better than Song Ha Kyung in a writing contest? Well, it of course bothers her. But when they have a strong bond, nothing will happen to them.
But we can't forget about the homeroom teachers, that try to keep everything together. Jung In Jae is a teacher that will stop at nothing to keep her students happy. She will fight for whats right no matter what. But she must share her position with Kang Se Chan, a graduate from the school. After a bad deed that he committed, Teacher Kang has to work at Seungri High School with Teacher Jung, and they teach the same subject! Which teacher is favored more by the students? Who would you favor?
Thank you for taking the time to read this, I do recommend this drama to all of you that want good teenage drama.

Thanks, now ima really going to watch it. Bullying is a serious problem and needs to be deal with seriously in all schools. I was about to watch it but I wasn't sure yet, and thanks to your review, ima definitely going to watch it. I once got bullied in middle school, but lucky I learned how to stand up for myself. I learned kung fu from my grandpa when I was younger. Ah, it was a fight alright, but they started it. I defended myself... But I know, violence is wrong though hahaha. Friendship and betrayal happens, gotta look for the right friends, but that is tough because you will never know them truly.

Yup, true as well. Things trigger their anger, and they take their anger on someone else. Like for example, their parents are abusive and etc. It's like a never-ending cycle. But in the ends for me, was that I became friends with my bullies. Happy ending for them, but for other bullies, not so much. They don't know how to cope with what they are dealing with. So they cope with their anger by taking it out on others. It is unfortunate that bullies exists. emotion_donotwant
