HISTORY: Mapenzi doesn't remember much of her life at all. She remembers the past event of her family and mother being kidnapped by her uncle, and being held hostage for awhile until he decided to release them. Because of this, Mapenzi has grown a great fear towards male Lions. That memory has been burned into her brain... though the image is a bit hazy nowadays as she roams the lands alone; only the outline of black inked blobbed lion shapes haunt her, as if they were her inner demons. Being in the same area with a male Lion is a sure sign way to make her head for the hills. Mapenzi has a bad habit of dazing out in thought and forgetting things easily, and so this hazes her memory even further. She does not even remember how her parents or siblings look like from her past, though this doesn't seem to bother her much when others ask.


PERSONALITY: Mapenzi's a little clammed-up and keeps herself quiet a majority of the time, unless she is spoken to with a question or needs to speak in a nervous tone. This especially happens around male lions. She has a bad habit of dazing out in thought and forgetting things easily. She's not slow-minded, but it seems that way most of the time and it may give others the wrong impression that she's 'special' in terms of her brain. It usually takes her a bit to realize others are addressing her or trying to get her attention and when she does realize, it usually follows with a soft apology.
The lioness also has a terrible habit of forgetting to drink and feed herself if she's not concentrating on that task; a majority of the time wandering about hungry and not remembering why she is with a dried out mouth. Overall she can warm up well to females and other male cats who are NOT lions, though still remain shy and polite. On the other hand, it takes her a while longer to warm up to lion boys even if they are nice to her, though there's no guarantees that she would fully trust one. It's a bit of a paranoia and thought that all male lions are 'evil' in some sort of way. Again, this is no thanks to her past event as a cub. She tends to warm up much faster to female lions and looks up to many of them since they seem to take kindly to her.
