Pha'Ess was stretched lazily over one of the lower branches of a tree, slowly extending and retracting her claws as she flexed her tail. The sun was low in the sky, casting hazy shadows in shades of mauve as the day drew to a slow close. Eyes half-lidded as usual, the leopardess absently watched a pair of lions. She was sure she recognised them from the pride - but not recently. A long time ago. The last King. But they'd dissapeared. She'd figured they'd left because well. He'd been a little... (cruel) odd. But it looked like they might have left for a completely different reason with the way he stood closer to her than was polite, the way her tailtip tilted his way.

Cute. She coughed to grab their attention.

Hathel was still unsure about being home- it felt like they had been gone so long, and that they would still be under potential threat if they made their way back there. for her, the whole thing was something of a dangerous situation, which she really didn't want to have to deal with. She had been the lucky one of the two- she had been the one with the purple in her coat. The noble, though not a well-respected one, she supposed. Still, she had been more respected than her groundling lover. They were not even supposed to talk to one another, much less fall in love. Was it really safe to be back? She found herself instinctively inching behind the black male beside her when she heard another lion nearby. Spotting the female, she shrank a little, nervous.

Ninniach saw his lady melt behind him, arching an eyebrow as he turned his eyes from her to the somewhat familiar female ahead of them. He had seen her before- she had been in the pride back when they had left. But... he was sure there was something more than he had heard about her. Something he couldn't put his paw. on. "Don't be scared, dear Hathel- I don't think she's going to hurt us." With that, he took a step forward, offering a smile, however hesitant.

"Hello! My name is Ninniach- we're former members of this pride. This is still the Suka'Fumo, is it not?"
