What good was a workout without music? Not a good one at all, duh. Now Piper wasn't super up to date on technology, so all she had was a Walking Deadman and a set of earbuds, but with that rockin' set of pipes she had, well, what else could she possibly need?
"She's just a ghoul, and she's on fire," she started to sing to herself as she tried once again to tame her hair back into a ponytail. "Hotter than a fantasy, lonely like a highway~" It was a steady not so fast beat, and eventually her feet were tapping of their own accord enough that she had to physically restrain them with a grin. More than likely a jog would be best for last, Piper decided--like a cooldown! She really ought to do some weight training before Kettil called her a twig again.

Musicians had to look good. Well, they didn’t really, but Hairwolf was under the impression they did. He hadn’t had to work out too much a lot at home, what with a multitude of siblings to keep him busy and on his feet, but finally being on his own at school had slowed things down considerably, and he was extremely glad the school had a gym. The boil was extremely worried about puppy pudge, after all, a flabby midriff would be no good considering the clothes he wore.
He strolled into the gym after changing into a longer tank top and shorts, and was about to don his own set of overly large and overly loudly colored headphones when the sound of a ghoul singing caught his attention. His ears flicked curiously in her direction, she had such a pretty voice, but that song… He shook his head. It looked like he was going to have to give her some musical education. It didn’t matter that she was a complete stranger; it was his musical destiny to help the less fortunate.
Sauntering over, he tapped her on the shoulder, and offered her a wide canine grin.
“Hey lady, you’ve got a pretty rockin’ voice.”

"Shoot, some people have some fine luck, huh." Not that Piper thought his was better, oh no sir; but it was a lovely second place in comparison.
At first she simply chuckled at his comment, a natural reaction to being hit with a compliment and an odd remark at the same time. "A little bit repetitive, sure, but that's how you get earworms," she replied with a tiny shrug, satisfied with the ponytail for now and patting it down. "Not Alicia Skeletonkey's best, but I'm a loyal fan, 'specially of her older stuff; gotta roll with the good and bad, you know."

He watched as she laughed, ears flicking forward to hear her defense of listening to such an… Interesting song choice. He might have been checking her out a little as well, as she smoothed over her ponytail he conceded that she was possessing a lovely mane as well, though there could only be one king of the jungle.
“Sure do,” he answered, ruffling his fingers through his own hair with a smirk. “But that doesn’t mean a guy can’t know what’s what. I could definitely show you a few things, babe. Rock your world, y’know?”
It was his turn to chuckle, listening as she explained about Alicia Skeletonkey’s. “I suppose she’s okay, if you are going by today’s standards,” he grinned, his devious look and tone implying that his opinion of today’s standards wasn’t very high.
“You’ve probably got Johnny Danger on that thing too, don’t you?” he asked, nodding at her Walking Deadman.
