So, I got home from rehearsal last night and was pretty hungry.
Look in the fridge, decide on a carrot and the last of the dip I have.
But I don't get a cutting board or anything. And end up cutting the carrot while holding it. I thought "this is stupid, the knife is going to slip and you're going to hurt yourself. Naaaah, I'll be fine..."
Slip. Cut.
ow. Ow. OW. OW OW OW OW OW crying
Run to bathroom, run water over it, dab it with alcohol, run more water, stick a bandaid on it.
I start feeling faint, run to bedroom to lie down.
CRASH
I was sure I was diving into bed. Not my bedside table face-first.
crying
So I've got a cut to the bone on my left index, and a bruise on my left cheek.
But I'm all-right. (har-har)

Nah, it was a clean straight cut from the knife. Didn't lose a chunk or anything. Looks fine. Luckily.
My face, however... I've been getting stares. People probably think I'm a battered woman.

Shows that women are weak, cuz they feel all faint in stuff from a simple knife cut. biggrin
I got a cut one time when I was like a teen or preteen or something while cutting apples and I never passed out, I just went to the ER at Holloman and they put stiches in me. I never felt weak or passing out or anything.

Aoi the Crossdresser Shows that women are weak, cuz they feel all faint in stuff from a simple knife cut. biggrin I got a cut one time when I was like a teen or preteen or something while cutting apples and I never passed out, I just went to the ER at Holloman and they put stiches in me. I never felt weak or passing out or anything. No, I think I was in shock from the concept of having cut to the bone. I've broken bones and gotten some pretty bad gashes and haven't ever felt faint from it before. Also, yaknow, women, bleeding every month.... stare

Mine was, once I made the cut I could see the blood gushing out and I had to rush to my parents to put wrapping stuff on it and they rushed me to the ER at Holloman and they put on stiches. Humans survived long before stitches. We just had more scars. I split my chin open when I was 14 when I fell and hit the corner of a table on my way down. Probably should have gotten stitches. It bled profusely and there's still a big scar. In this case, it bled profusely even after I ran it under very cold water for over a minute, but bandaging it too-tight for a few minutes and then bandaging it moderately tight for a day did the trick. I was lucky that it was right down the middle of the finger so it was easy to seal up like that. If it had been across the knuckle I probably would have gone & gotten stitches.

Just so you know, that picture in my profile is from like 2006 or something, so it's old. It's just that you have those weird lines, like on your lips, the weird / lines. You look older than I do. AND I AM ONLY ADDICTED TO ALCOHOL AND BENADRYL!!!!!!!!!!!! That's it. Not like meth or anything. But yeah....I apparently look young although the border patrol bastards around here give us a hard time so maybe I do look like a drug addict, so I should post a picture of myself on here and show it to you all and you can tell me what you all think. sad SO yeah. It's because I have big cheeks. Nah it's because your weird because you probably seem like a person who smokes. So you have those lines even if you don't smile? Cuz in the pics i have of you, you seem to be smiling, I wanna see a pic of you where you don't smile. But yeah, those lines DO make you look older.
