Twin BoyThird born and twin to chi’s boy. To win this boy, you’ll need a name and respond to a prompt. Do not use (rp) any of the other cubs or parents in your reply. This is about him! Prompts: choose 1 1. Your twin is so determined to protect the family and honor them in anyway he can. That he is willing to even put his life on hold to do so. Do you share his determination? Plan on putting your life first before all else? Or do you feel fate has cast you right where you and your siblings belong? 2. Your twin brother is always fighting for your mom's approval. Well one day he asks you to go on a secret mission with him. The only thing is - until you agree he can't tell you what the mission actually is. Does your twin help his brother? Or sneer at the idea? 3. You just found out the story of how your mother and father fell in love. He was wandering out in the rouge-lands, when one day he happened to meet her while she was on guard duty. He fell head over heels, and worked super hard on doing everything he could to win her over. He even joined a pride - something he never thought he'd do in a lifetime. The rest is history. How do you feel about love? Do you hope one day you can have that love at first sight feeling? or do you feel like love is a pointless useless emotion? Twin GirlFourth born and twin to magna’s girl. To win this girl, you’ll need a name and respond to a prompt. Do not use (rp) any of the other cubs or parents in your reply. This is about her! Prompts: choose 1 1. Your twin believes your mother’s desire for highborn cubs caused the Great Lion to become angry with her and turn his eye from your litter as punishment. Do you agree with her or not? If not, how do you go about proving your point? 2. There are two twin pairs, and your lone sibling. What should be the cub dynamics according to you? Are twins better than non-twins? How do you get along with the male twins? Do twins not matter and Girls are clearly better than Boys? ;P Does any of it really matter? 3. Your mother, Nkosazana, wanted to start her own line of proud guards. However, both her litters have been utter disappointments. Low-middle and Low Class. She does what she can to hide her disappointment in your class and just see you for you, but there’s always something in her eyes. How do you feel about this? Do you attempt to ignore it, help her come to terms, or snub it in her face? Or something else? [align=center][color=crimson][size=20]Oh Yeah! Here comes the fifth wheel! User Name: BastetAmun Cub’s Name: Amunet’Mosi Meaning: Amunet is the Egyptian name of the mythical goddess of secrets and Mosi means born first. Personality: Born in the low class of the Mwezi’Johari pride Amunet is aware of where she stands. She is the first born girl out of a litter of five with two sets of twins. Although she is the only cub of her siblings to not have a twin she doesn’t feel too bad about it. She is able to protect her younger siblings but the reason she isn’t too torn up about it is because she is glad she is at least a little unique. Perhaps not the best quality at some times but Amunet likes to strive on knowing things that others don’t as well as being able to find things that other people can’t. She spends a lot of her time sneaking through the pride’s lands and listening in on conversations the best that she can which allows her to hear things that she probably shouldn’t hear. Of course she doesn’t just go run and blurt what she hears out to anyone, no, Amunet keeps these secrets to herself, just like she keeps the various odd and ends she finds, they are her treasures. Since she is in the low class Amunet is aware, more aware then other cubs, about what position she is going to hold when she grows up. Unlike her siblings, Amunet does not seem to care what their mother thinks about them, she would rather spend time with their father but even then Amunet does wish there was something she could do to change her station, like every young lion does. The only one who Amunet wishes to make proud is herself and she knows that if she is going to achieve greatness of any kind it requires her working hard and making the Great Lion proud as well. Are you ok with the rules and requirements of the pride? Yes Pride Question: What is the purpose of a Rogue Guard? The Rouge Guard is a rank of Guard that accompanies the Nurse Priest when a new initiate is likely to awaken as a slave. They may also watch new members as they wait for the full moon and their initiation.

Oh Yeah! Girl power x2!! User Name: Puhterodactyl Cub’s Name: Arusha Meaning: Well, I did some googling and turned up that Manyara is a region in Tanzania. From there I found that it used to be part of the Arusha region under the British government, then the Arusha region split into one region that carried the same name and Manyara under the Tanzanian govt. Playing off of one whole split in to two halves and the idea of twins, I thought it was fitting. :3 RP Prompt: #2 Arusha, like her twin, is a very gentle spirit. She speaks softly, moves slowly and touches gently. She worries about her twin (and herself) getting stepped on for being so humble. She'd fight for them tooth and nail if she ever had to, though. And besides... They're the best of the litter. The best Nkosazana has ever had, even. The little cub highly esteems herself and her twin within the litter, though ranking low in the pride. You see, twins are better than the solo cubs. Girls are better than boys. Your birth order is also important, too. There was a whole medley of things that played into rank. Most importantly is the favor you earn from the Great Lion, of course. But Arusha has her own system. She and her siblings were all nuzzled up close to Nkosazana, resting in the den. One of the twin boys was hogging the prime spot, just between their mother's paws and close to her face. He was the last born, too. Well, that just wasn't fair. Arusha knitted her eyebrows together and frowned. "Ah- brother..." she nudged him with her paw, "Brother...?" but he was asleep. She couldn't ask him to move if he wasn't awake. She crawled over her other siblings, avoiding paws on faces or tail tufts near noses, and nudged him out of the way. No one awoke. She nodded to herself, excellent. Well, this set things more straight. But if Manyara woke up, she'd share the space evenly. Her sister ranked highest, at least in her mind, but as a twin they got to share in the position. They were halves of one whole, after all. Arusha was Manyara's mirror image, if not a little bit more defensive. The cub looked upon her twin's face with love and admiration. Manyara breathed softly in her sleep, a nice hollow between her and their other sister. The spot called to her, even though beneath Nkosazana's chin was the best. She bit her lip. It seemed she would be doomed to never be happy with what she had. Crawling over her siblings again, Arusha squeezed in next to her twin, facing her. There was an "Oof!" somewhere on the trip, but they all remained otherwise still. Looking upon her sister's face, Arusha smiled. No, she was happy here. It was more her place than any other. She nuzzled Manyara and fell into a peaceful, dreamless sleep. Future Plots: Well with the Meta going on, I'm not quite sure the future for little slaves like Arusha! If Shangyue really shakes things up, maybe she'd get to be a guard! Granted, I'm not sure how it'll entirely turn out. The more likely scenario is that she stays a quiet little slave her whole life and has cubs who she projects her mother's wishes on. She feels like she let her mother down by being born low class, so maybe if she has little middle-class guards, it'll make Nkosazana happy! If the cubs aren't born high enough, she won't be disappointed in them, just in herself for not living up to her mother's expectations... Again. Manyara is the most important thing in her life, though (even more important than any future cubs). If any of the previously mentioned plots would interfere with her relationship with Manyara, it won't happen. (For an impossible example: Manyara wants to leave the pride and become a Swampie- Well, see ya Arusha's mate, cubs, it was nice knowing you! (though they're never leaving the pride)) Are you ok with the rules and requirements of the pride? Yes Pride Question: By the female's rank! Arusha could marry a prince and he'd become a slave. Just for Fun: Home by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes - "Home is whenever I'm with you!"

Oh Yeah! Girl power x2!! User Name: Kallysto Cub’s Name: Abeni Meaning: Western African, Yoruba Means "we asked for her, and behold, we got her" in Yoruba. RP Prompt: 3 Abeni scowled and swatted at a stray rock, angrily bouncing it into the ground. Again. And again. It was as if her hurt feelings could all be made better by the abuse of this tiny, inanimate object. For a moment, she imagined it was her mother, but the anger drained from her tiny body and she hunched over, defeated. Every time her mother looked at her, Abeni could see the disappointment in her eyes and it boiled her young blood. How dare she put the blame on her and her siblings? How was it their fault that she had poorly timed litters? How was it their fault that SHE placed them at the rank they were in? It was backwards! If she should be disappointed with anybody, it should have been herself! How DARE she make her daughter feel this way? Slave or no... None of this was Abeni's fault and STILL she was looked down upon. The cub let out the most ferocious squeak she could and swatted at the rock with renewed vigor, sending it sputtering several feet away and she dropped again, her energy depleted. Abeni didn't notice the looks at first but as she grew and grew, she began to notice a strange something in her mother's eyes and it made her angrier and angrier every time she saw it. Her twin seemed to believe her mother had brought anger onto her and her siblings...Perhaps that was true. But even more reason why it was mother's fault! Not her own! The little lion let out a pathetic sigh and stomped over to the rock, swiping it up with her claws and cradling it gently before setting it back where she had found it, once again imagining her mother. She did everything she could and did care and love for them...But that didn't make it any easier to live feeling as if you were nothing but a disappointment...She wished her mother could understand how her actions were making her feel but the young cub had no way to truly communicating what she was feeling inside. It left her sullen and quiet around her mother, seeking solace in her more quiet twin. Abeni could never be as docile as Manyara. She could never simply accept the fate her mother had drawn for her. She had to find a way to prove her worth...To defend her quiet sister from the harshness of the world. To show them all what she was truly worth. But how? Future Plots: Abeni will always look for ways to become a guard, even though she knows it should be impossible. Not for her mother, however. Abeni wants to prove to herself and to her twin that they are worth more than they are valued. She feels like she and her siblings were destined to be more than they were born into. She is much more outgoing and fiery than her reserved sister. As such she will often times feel the need to protect her. Perhaps her over protectiveness could get in the way of things that her sister wants to do? Are you ok with the rules and requirements of the pride? Yes Pride Question: Female's rank. Just for Fun: Let the Flames Begin - ParamoreA song about how she feels she and her sister can become more, despite what society expects and her mother's feelings on her litter. As she works to try and advance herself, she is always thinking about her sister too.

Here comes the fifth wheel! User Name: Lt Gnatty-Bug Cub’s Name: Europa Meaning: Moon of Jupiter, covered in ice. I could give you more information if you want; it is one of the more likely candidates for alien life due to the belief that there is water there. Personality: Europa actually thinks she is the strongest of her siblings. She is the first born, which makes her the eldest and she loves to lord that over her siblings, trying to boss them around and make herself feel superior. It is not that she is mean, she just sees a very strict rank structure in the pride, and applies that to her family. They are destined to be slaves, and so she takes the little bit of power she can; of her siblings, she is the ‘highest class,’ based on age. But she also has a whole other set of ideas that leads to her being the strongest, based on the fact that she does not have a twin. The twins are both counterparts of each other; they are two parts of a whole. Europa does not believe she is missing her other half, but simply that she is complete. If she had been born last instead of first, she may think differently, but she was not. Therefore, she is more powerful than her siblings, who are basically, in her mind, sharing the same power base. She wants to excel far beyond her siblings, as far as the pride will let her go, because she wants to make her mother proud. Europa thinks that she is the only one who can do it, since her twin siblings are so much weaker than herself. She still loves her younger siblings, but does not believe they will be able to go far in life. That is unless one of the boys luckily marries up. Then Europa knows she’ll be displaced as ‘head of the litter.’ Because of this, she is a very serious little cub. She knows that if she is to make anything of herself, she needs to start now. Even if the most she can achieve is being the best slave ever, she will do it for her mother. Are you ok with the rules and requirements of the pride? Yes! Sounds super fun, especially with the meta coming up. It seems to be an exciting time to be in that pride. I could totally see Europa even at a young age trying to gain favor with the soon-to-be-king in hopes of rising even a slight bit out of her class. Pride Question: What is the purpose of a Rogue Guard? "A special rank of guard that is responsible for accompanying the Nurse Priest when a newly initiated member is likely to wake as a slave under a new moon. They may also be employed to keep an eye on new members as they wait for the full moon to arrive so they may be initiated." Meaning, I believe, they basically help the rogues initial transition into pride life, and watch other new members before they are fully initiated.

Manly Powerz! User Name: ChaosTheories Cub’s Name: Chyrun Meaning: Old Greek name meaning "hand". Variation of Chiron, from Greek mythology. RP Prompt: 2 Sometimes Chyrun's twin had ideas that made him very uncomfortable. He had no idea what the secret mission could be, so he imagined all kinds of things that would end with them getting into trouble. But Chyrun couldn't say no. He could never say no to his brother, no matter how ridiculous the plan. There was nothing in the world that would stop him from lending a paw to his family members, since they were extremely important to him. Sometimes he even thought they were more important than the Great Lion, who didn't see him and his siblings anyway. But these thoughts made him feel extremely guilty, and after such things crossed his mind he would double his efforts to please the Great Lion, and those who held higher ranks in the pride. He had mixed feelings about the whole thing, but he was just a cub... maybe once he grew up and knew the things adults knew, he would understand better. And he had a feeling he would have to triple his efforts to make up for his brother's secret mission. Chyrun didn't understand why his twin tried so hard to make their mother proud. He had to be honest with himself... she was the only one who didn't quite get the same share of his love as the rest of his family did. When she looked at him, it hurt. He knew that she wanted kids that would grow up to be guards like her, or even higher up in the hierarchy. She hadn't wanted slave children that were not seen by the Great Lion. When Chyrun had first realized this, he had cried himself to sleep that night. But he was smart. And smart lions were serious, and they kept their feelings to themselves. Others may see him as quiet, maybe even melancholic, but he was just in control. He preferred to use his energy to help others and work hard, not to mope about things he couldn't change. Plus, he still had his father. His father just wanted them to be happy, no matter what they were. Chyrun adored his father... even if his teasing nature had rubbed off on his twin. He couldn't help but smile when he was with either of them. Which was probably why he let his brother drag him into his plans. Hopefully, he thought playfully, he would still be able to smile with his twin once the mission was through. Future Plots: Chyrun is the type who'd be content to continue working for the pride as a slave. His wants and needs are pretty simple. However, if his siblings (especially his twin!) or the event of the meta shakes things up, he would want to be right in the middle of it with them. Are you ok with the rules and requirements of the pride? Yes Pride Question: How does the phase of the moon dictate rank, and what does it mean? The moon is the Great Lion's eye, and how open it is (eg. phase) when cubs are born (or rogues reborn) determines how favoured they are in his eyes. The phase determines class, and class determines what ranks a lion can hold in the pride.

Manly Powerz! User Name: Andranis Cub’s Name: Wawindaji'mwezi Meaning: Hunter moon RP Prompt: 1 Wawindaji looked up at the moon, thinking about it. His brother didn't seem to care about the lot life had given them, and it made the younger twin rather... Unhappy. Like his twin, Windaji DID want to make his parents, especially his mother, proud, but he didn't think he'd be able to do it down here, at the bottom. He rose onto his paws, glaring at the moon. "Great Lion, you turned your back on us when we were born..." He shook a paw. "But I'll MAKE you see me!" He turned, starting to walk, when he heard a rustle. The cub stopped, watching as a white lioness with faded gray up her legs walk by. She was in the High Class... Windaji sat down to think some more. Males could change the cards they were dealt if they married... And there were lionesses that would be happy to take on a slave mate. He stood up, a look of determination on his face. "I know what I must do now..." He looked at the moon, grinning. "I'll court a high-class lady... And make you smile at me, Great Lion, because I'll be a cunning lion!" There was no malice in his conviction, only determination. He'd make the Great Lion see him, and make his mother proud at the same time, because he was going to move up from the Low Class. He just needed to find a lioness closer to his age... Future Plots: Wawindaji won't lie - He'll try to find some lioness to wed to bump him up in life, preferably up near his mother's rank range. Maybe even the Lord rank. Are you ok with the rules and requirements of the pride? Yes Pride Question: A New Moon means a Low Class lion, and thus a slave, with Lower Middle being a Waxing and Waning Crescent, Middle Class being First and Last Quarter, Upper-middle being Waxing and Waning Gibbous, and a full moon dictating that a lion or litter is in the High Class. Lower-Middle Class lions are all hunters, while Middle and Upper Middle have the added option of Guard, Upper-middle has the options of Priests(Midwife, nurse, Host, Historian and Apprentices) added, and High Class has the further-added choices of Lord/Lady, Shaman, and only if they're born into royalty, King/Queen, Heir/ess, and Prince/ss.

Here comes the fifth wheel! User Name: Eikkie Cub’s Name: Tsholofelo Meaning: Hope in Tswana Personality: While Sho is a little left out when it comes to her siblings, she is actually okay with it. Being a fifth wheel, she can often go off by herself and have adventures, not having to worry. An odd number is generally nice to her, since it either means one person gets to be alone, or she has to be in a group of three. She prefers the first of the two. Sho is a very solitary being, enjoying what time she has to be by herself. When she goes on adventures, often times, she wanders to the edge of where she is allowed to go, and has been rebellious enough to step over boundaries and explore the unknown. She doesn't do that very often though. As an individual, Sho has both the intelligence and the strength, and will continue to grow in both categories. Unlike the twins, who rely on each other it would seem, she isn't forced to rely on anyone, making her a bit more independent, but it also forces her to grow up a little faster. However, as the eldest, she feels it is her responsibility to look out for the younger ones, and will often times go out of her way to make sure they are doing things they aren't supposed to. This could become damaging to her relationships with other lions, because she'll be too busy to notice when someone takes an interest in her. However, she's not dumb, and if the interest proceeds for a while, she will notice, and could possibly even take interest in them, but in a slave mate manner, of course. In all, she'll be a guardian of her siblings, who, like all siblings, needs a break every now and again. Are you ok with the rules and requirements of the pride? Yes Pride Question: What is the purpose of a Rogue Guard? The purpose of a Rouge Guard is a rank of guard to help the rogues who are joining to join with ease and comfort and to make sure they settle in comfortably. They also watch over the new members so that when the initiation comes under the new moon, they can join. "A special rank of guard that is responsible for accompanying the Nurse Priest when a newly initiated member is likely to wake as a slave under a new moon. They may also be employed to keep an eye on new members as they wait for the full moon to arrive so they may be initiated."

Manly Powerz! User Name: Lt Gnatty-Bug Cub’s Name: Io Meaning: …Its another of Jupiter’s moons. This one is so close to Jupiter’s gravity that it is constantly shifting. The surface on the far side is solid, but there are all the violent volcanic eruptions from the planet literally being pulled part by Jupiter… Plus, it is pretty. And inner turmoil is a thing. RP Prompt: 3 Io did not understand love. It seemed silly to him; he cared for his siblings, especially his twin, but he could not image completely changing his life for a stranger. And it all seemed so cliché! Maybe the girls would swoon over such silly things, but Io knew that love was not real, not that kind of love. He loves his siblings, especially his twin, even if he is a little dense with his devotion sometimes. He loves his father. He cares for his mother, but the hurt look on her face when she looks at them, however hurried she is to hide it, is enough that Io would never say he truly loves her. But someone completely unrelated? Someone who may not even be part of the pride? The idea of caring that deeply for anyone not related is so ridiculous. How their father, all lighthearted and funny, 'fell' for their bitter mother will always perplex him. Io sees marriage as a contract, a solid basis to build a family from. For him specifically it is a wait to gain status. Their mother has never explicitly stated how disappointed she is, but Io knows it - they all do. So he will make their mother proud, the only way he can. Io will marry a high born lioness, raise his status, become a guard like she was. He studies the affectionate banter between his parents to put in his arsenal for when he is old enough to flirt with girls. He vows to build up all the right moves, become the perfect gentlemen for whatever higher-born lioness is willing to look his way. Then he will have a mother that looks at him with pride, instead of a deep disappointment for something he had no control over. Io looks up at the night sky, at the Great Lion, and makes the promise to him too. He promises to shine so bright with his marriage and his own cubs, and family, that the Great Lion will have to acknowledge him too, and bless him with higher born children, to continue the lion of guards just for his mother. After all, love outside of the family is a silly emotion. Future Plots: I would love for him to fall in love with a lower class lioness, but still marry off to a higher or middle class one for the status bump. OR He never finds a middle or high class lioness to be his mate, and becomes pretty spiteful at his mother for (unintentionally) setting such high expectations on him. The lower-class lioness he fell for still wants to be with him, and eventually he accepts. She can help him repair his psyche a little bit, with very little interaction with his mother for a length of time. Then if/when he has higher class cubs (hopefully) he would go back to her and basically rub it in her face. He’s still a little spiteful… Are you ok with the rules and requirements of the pride? As I said before, heck yeah! Pride Question: How does the phase of the moon dictate rank, and what does it mean? The phase the moon is in when the cub is born dictates their rank. The more full the moon, the higher class the cubs are. If it is a new moon, the Great Lion basically does not acknowledge their existence, and therefore the cubs are the lowest of the low class.
