Natural Ability: Object invocation - She can control the fishing rods and hooks in her body at will without having to physically manipulate them with her hands. This includes removing them from her body, floating them out and around her and extending the fishing lines in any direction. While her rods and hooks can be removed they can never be a great distance away from her because she relies on them for her FEAR.

Personality:

xxx+: Bound by loyalty
xIts not always easy to do, but when you have her trust, Kressida returns that trust 10 fold. If you need anything, anytime for any reason she's there to help. She will never be late to pick you up, but will most likely be early. If some creep has wronged you, your pain is her vengeance and she will haunt them down to the ends of Halloween and back if she could to make it right. She not only dependable friend but someone who is quite literally always around close by. Keeping her friends close is how she shows she cares (even if it is a bit suffocating), and if she cant be close she devises ways to make the distance feel as small as possible. It is a common practice among her kind to give personal artifacts to her friends and taking trinkets of theirs so she can "always be with them". She will often make promises unto these gifts like "as long as you hold onto this, I will be with you in spirit" or, "with this item in hand no matter how far apart we are I will find you if you need me". She has a tendency to be very sentimental about her relationships and makes these trinkets seem enchanted by some strange power when it reality its just her honest feelings showing through. Being a friend of Kressidas means never feeling left behind.

xxx+: Teach a ghoul to fish
xKressida is a very studious ghost and loves to learn as much as she loves to show others what she knows. While she can be emotional in her relationships, when it comes to her education she is hauntingly even tempered and dedicated. Prior to admitting to Amityville, her patience with even the thickest ghouls and boils she tutored at her school back home was a testament to her love of teaching. She's not a genius or a even a quick study, she's just dedicated and fascinated by many subjects and puts in the long hours necessary to cement all that she reads and practices into permanent memory. It would be easy for some creeple to look down at others for what they don't know, but Kressida is the opposite. She takes great pride in being able to spot where someone is struggling with a particular concept and fill in the gaps, just to see the light in their face when they finally understand a difficult concept. That being said, shes not one to go around correcting everyone she sees, but rather eagerly helps those who flatter her enough to ask for help.

xxx+: Just keep swimming
x Part of being a partially intangible spirit means for Kressida, she doesn't wear down easily, either physically or mentally. She can wait an eternity for the right opportunity to show up, float absent mindedly for miles without a care, and turn off all but the most intense emotions to focus on one task until it is accomplished. When there are a lot distractions thrown in her path to deter her, she puts the blinders up and focuses on what matters most to her. As long as she is fueled by some passionate emotion; be it love or hate-- she can focus in on that energy and increase her level of ambition beyond where many would give up. When shes stuck on a difficult school assignment its not uncommon for her to spend sleepless night after sleepless night studying and practicing and haunting her teachers for help until she masters every concept. And when a roadblock in put in her path, she has the patience not to be discouraged when success doesn't come instantaneously.

xxx-: Hooked on U
xLike most ghosts, Kressida is not one to float away from any problem. In fact, her best strategy for dealing with someone she's angry at or jealous of or suspicious of is to literally haunt them until her feelings change. She'll be hovering around each corner you pass by, in the window outside your classroom while you're at school and right behind you always. Glaring. Occasionally whispering foul comments in your direction and hiding dead fish for you to find at the most inopportune times. If all you want is some space to think about your feelings, well she's not going to give it to you. If you've scorned her, you're stuck with her until you can figure out how to break her ghostly tethers.

xxx-: When the levi breaks
xSometimes being a ghost is a real drag. Even when your 100% tangible it can feel as if friends and peers just look right through you, ambivalent to your wants, pains and desires. Kressida often feels that her feelings need not be spoken out loud but osmotically absorbed through close contact with her friends who should know her best. Rather than voicing a small problem she keeps it buried, and the longer it sits under the surface undetected the more it swells until finally....she bursts. Quite literally bursting, either with tears or with boiling rage, Kressida is an emotional spirit and while she can hold back her suspicions and anxieties only so long when they are finally released you can expect to see a visual spectacle of some order or another. At that point she has lost all control of the barriers and floodgates and cannot stop herself from expressing every last grievance shes had with you over the last month that you (somehow) never picked up on. While this has soured a few of her friendships, those that know her well understand this to be part of her fluid personality. She's usually quick to forgive others so long as they forgive her for her untimely outbursts.

xxx-: Dead but not buried
xKressida can be a bit of a drama queen. As young as she is she has not yet learned how to pick her battles and instead keeps a tally of all the perceived wrong doings creeple have made against her and unleashes her fury accordingly when the list gets too long. Sometimes issues that you think are dead and buried between you come back during your next disagreement as if they were never gone. Its not entirely true that she holds grudges forever because she can and does forgive, but she never forgets. Unfortunate are those friends who have wronged her deeply enough in the past to have their biggest mistake brought up time and time again as an example of why every new disagreement is really all connected to that one time you did something really bad and unforgivable even though she said she forgave you.


Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Like many creatures of Halloween, Kressida has always been fascinated by the human world and is excited in particular to study human behavior at Amityville and become a great haunter like her parents. As an alumni of Amityville she hopes to one day become an esteemed teacher and share her experience with future generations of students.

Welcome to This is Halloween!

Congratulations! Your character has passed the enrollment process and you're cleared to begin playing. Essentially, this means you can get your art certed, make your character's journal, and most importantly start RPing. If you're a little lost then don't worry, this guide is here to point you in the right direction.

- If you do NOT yet have your art, you may now contact your artist and let them know that they may now start on creating your character!

- If you ever feel lost as a newbie, our many GMs are more than happy to one on one RP with you to help your character get acquainted.
