Light Atago Sorry for the major delay! If you don't mind, I'd like to rp the fight out without dice. It's easier that way, for me at least.
Ardor liked to think he was getting better at wooing the more fierce ladies in the pride. It had been a revelation to realize they didn't all fall swooning at his paws because he winked and spoke sweet nothings in their ears. He hadn't been discouraged by the failures, anything but! He simply started paying attention to the males that they did pay any sort of attention to. To his distaste, they often were big, muscled, sometimes dense males who, in his opinion, couldn't find their way out of a box canyon. But one thing he had noticed was that these tough girls preferred males who knew how to fight.
So he'd been brushing up on his skills. He was no slouch, by any means, but everyone could benefit from some extra practice, right? So now he was not only handsome as ever, but more muscle rippled beneath his pelt than before. It made him feel... powerful. And masculine. His stride, which before had been very relaxed and confident, now was almost a strut. He kept his coat and mane spotless, of course, so surely that would only add to his positive image.
He was feeling mighty fine today when he spotted one of the female soldiers across the way. Ah yes, one of the rogue-blood females. An appreciative grin spread across his muzzle. Yes, it was time for a visit! He strolled up, trying to appear nonchalant. Tough babes usually didn't want to feel like you were eyeing them, even if you were. "Interested in a spar?" he asked innocently, avoiding all the compliments and pet names that he usually used.
