Ushma was on a war path. That nameless male from the shore had just ignored her completely and he wasn't even an impressive looking viking male! She'd expect that cool headed dismissive attitude from a high ranking older buff as s**t viking but not some scrawny forgettable looking little flower blooded jerk! WHO had the dumb idea that he needed to find a claw sharpening stone.
UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!
It was still a mystery to Ushma why she didn't just chase after that scrawny lion and end his life right there on the shore. No, she had to stand there after he insulted her and look dumb while he ran down the shore like a preoccupied coward. Who did that? NO ONE! NO ONE DISMISSED HER.
The negativity and frustration read loud and clear on Ushma's face. She was brooding and brooding bad. She had that kind of glare that meant blood would be had if she could just get her claws on who it was she wanted to maim. OH and she hadn't even gotten a name.
"WHAT A d**k!" She roared.

Nawiri had spent her day so far neck deep in the ocean's water. It had been a rough night on her shoulder, having slept on it wrong, or something. She hated when the old injury bothered her - it made her feel weak, like she did not belong here.
The lioness pulled herself out of the water eventually, land-legs a little shaky, having been swaying to and fro for so long. She took a moment to orient herself before she wandered deeper within the pride.
Of course, that's when she heard the voice of another.
"I'm not a d**k," she commented aloud in response to the roar.

The voice in reply sounded unlike the male she'd encountered just earlier. This voice was too feminine to be his. Ushma's teeth clenched still experiencing a tidal wave of raw emotional anger but not at the voice. She meant to keep her anger to her self but that was hard.
"Rrrrrrrrrrrrr," Was all she could manage in reply at first before the words found them selves in the pit of her throat, "NOT who ever you are."
The red and black female followed the sound of the voice which ultimately lead to a rather wet looking female. Ushma's glare was still firmly in place. She could not hide her anger no mater how hard she tried. Ushma had a vicious temper when she was thinking about things that pissed her off. She had a very hard time getting over what ever it was til justice was brought upon the one that wronged her.
"Why would I call a woman a d**k. That makes no sense," There was still a hint of aggression with in her words no matter how much she tried to hide it. Calmness would not come.

The pink-eyed lioness was used to growls and snarls, fortunately, that she barely reacted to the angry voice, except to search out the shape of whomever was speaking.
Once the lioness came into sight, she gave the other female a slightly concerned look, barely a furrow of her brow. "Why, indeed!" She returned. "Is something the matter?"
Not that many lions and lionesses had a reason to get angry, or they did but kept it to themselves. The point was that sometimes everyone got angry and it was pretty often if she payed attention correctly - which she didn't, but she could understand the sentiment. She had seen this lioness in passing probably once or twice, but Nawiri's eyes were often elsewhere.

Was something the matter was met with a surprised look from Ushma. It always surprised her when some one was able to tell she was upset even though most people could easily spot it. Her mannerisms and facial expressions betrayed her when she was angered.
"What?" A bit flustered now the lioness took a few steps back, "No. Why would anything be the matter. I'm just FINE."
She was just being childish now not wanting to just out and say what had bothered her. This was a lioness she'd never even exchanged a greeting with though. There was no way she wanted to just spill out her guts to her. They'd never even probably made eye contact before now.
"I'm just... WHO thinks they can just dismiss me!" She grumbled. Okay her temper was rising again and she was spilling out her guts. Stop talking. Stop talking.
" I mean a shrimp like that? Did he even notice me?" Ushma was a lioness used to being pined after and noticed if you wanted to get to the core. The issue here was a male who had just not given her the time of day and insulted her by smacking sand on to her accident or not. It bothered Ushma's pride and vanity which invoked her rage.

Nawiri was surprised anyone could bypass the lioness. She was brightly colored, and just a bit loud. She had heard the female from a ways away, but that could mean the male was doing it on purpose, or he really didn't see or here her.
Nawiri gave a placating smile. "If he didn't notice you, he's not worth your anger," she tilted her head just a bit. She really did not want to invoke the other's anger either!
"But he was clearly not in his right mind to dismiss you," she tried, hoping not to incur her wrath. She was a pretty woman, if Nawiri admitted.

"YOU'RE EXACTLY RIGHT!" The lioness bellowed. He wasn't worth her time and that was what made her angry about being so angered with the whole thing. "HE'S NOT WORTH IT BUT TREATING ME LIKE IM NOT WORTH IT IS UNACCEPTABLE! I'LL MAKE HIM EAT DIRT THAT FLOWER BLOODED LILY LIVER!" Her teeth gnashed together with every word. She was boarder line roaring her sentences.
Ushma took a breath. Better.
"Say thanks for that. Names Ushma. Sorry you had to see that." She frowned. It was like a switch had been turned and this was a different lioness all together now that she'd expressed her self.

Nawiri was a little shocked at the shouting, but she stood her ground valiantly, if she did say so herself. The anger was... understandable? She didn't know the whole of the situation, but she disliked being dismissed herself. She wasn't so expressive as the other lioness - Ushma - though.
She smiled, though, once the lioness finished her outburst and introduced herself. "It's quite alright," she gave a small bobbing nod. "My name's Jito."

"Jito. Nice to meet you," Ushma gave the lioness a nod of approval. "Sorry you kind of walked in on me while I was .." Did she really want to admit she was raging? Nah. "Erm. Never mind its not important. But any ways I have something to go take care of," Namely finding some thing to claw the s**t out of. "It was nice to meet you~"

Jito gave a laugh, smiling at the other's hasty retreat. She gave a small bow and turned a little, careful of her shoulder. "I'll see you around, then," she nodded her farewell, taking her leave from the lioness. She was interesting, Jito decided. She hoped to see the other lioness again.
