Di Zhenhan was scouting the border of the North's lands, keeping his eyes sharp on any possible strangers. The north was a rugged land, but it defined what the North was all about. He had joined here moons ago, and through careful training and respect, was trying to work his way up the ranks. It wasn't easy, and he made sure to keep his head bowed whenever he saw anyone related to the Lord. Slow and careful always seemed like a more wise choice.
His eyes caught something, and he stiffened up. Just a hare. With a shake of his head, he turned around to return to the main gathering area of the North house to report in and relax. He wasn't the sort to make friends, but it seemed like he needed to start attempting to make some. Allies would help him here, even if it was something as simple as keeping an eye on one another's backs for any trouble. The North's militaristic views made political intrigue rare, but Di didn't want to assume it was impossible.

It had been a while since they'd parted ways with the rest of their family. Their brothers, sister, father, and uncles had gone off to find the East House, while Qing and Chen had headed to the North. It just... It fit them better. The blue lioness was all but bouncing as she ran, jumping and striking her brother's shoulder with her forepaws as she moved. "I can't wait to test my skills against other opponents besides YOU, Chen!" How strong were the lions here? They didn't have issues with fighting a girl, did they? She couldn't wait!
The red and yellow lion was doing much the same as his twin, running and jumping and hitting her shoulder with his own paws. It wasn't their usual sparring, where they'd be coming to heavy blows on each other. This was a much lighter form of it, since they were more focused on travel and this was just to keep them from being bored. They weren't like their brothers and sister, content to talk as they traveled. No, they had to keep their bodies active. "Are you kidding?! You'll have the other lions running back to their mothers with their tails between their legs!"

Chen came to a skidding halt, looking at the gold-pelted lion approaching them. As their father had taught them of the old culture the black lion and his family had come from, that was a desirable coat color, which mean the lion could possibly be somebody important.
Then again, they'd learned, others didn't value coat color the same. He looked at his sister, who had also stopped, and then the other lion. "Our business?" It was taking a bit for the red lion's brain to catch up. His gaze returned to his sister, frowning a bit. He'd been so focused on their banter, he'd forgotten what their business WAS. "What was our business again...?"
The blue lioness rolled her eyes at her brother, giving him a hard shove. "You're an idiot, you know that...?" She turned to the gold lion, giving a slight curtsy. It was about as girly as she typically got. "My brother and I are here to join the North House of the Tianxia, under the sign of Genbu the black tortoise." She motioned south-east with her head. "Our father, uncles, brothers, and other sister are joining the East House. But that's not here and present, is it?" She motioned to herself. "I am going by Xian Qing in here, and this is my brother, Xian Chen." She wasn't going to mention that their family was doing it a bit backwards - Nobody in the pride needed to know THAT bit. Not that they knew any lions outside the pride, anyway...
