Natural Ability: Alette can hide in most reflective surfaces; more importantly, as a Haunt, she's bonded to her mirror (which she affectionately calls "Sydney").


Personality: Alette is the type of girl who wants to do anything and everything, but maybe isn't actually all that good at doing anything and everything. She's cheerful and easygoing, and she usually is pretty positive about things, but she's also outrageously clumsy; tripping over nonexistent things on the ground, accidentally dropping things, consistently forgetting things - whatever the case, she's done it. She's eager to please, but her clumsy nature allows for a certain sense of anxiety, which Alette often overcompensates for in her desire to be helpful.

She's also extremely stubborn; once she gets her mind set on something, it's difficult to change that. Alette doesn't have a problem being wrong, but if she believes something to be a certain way, she'll fight tooth and nail to prove she's right until she's actually proven wrong. After that, she'll just shrug and skip off.

She can be overly sensitive, especially with her clumsiness, and sometimes she'll take a joke too personally or misunderstand something due to her own insecurities. She's a tad shy, and she can get anxious at times, but she's honest and loyal and will do her best in whatever situation she's put in.


Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? She was adopted when she first spawned as a ghost, but later decided that living with her "parents" wasn't really for her, and they allowed her to attend Amityville.

FEAR Ability: Alette climbs into her mirror and basically rolls herself at people (Gambler's Chance). Unfortunately she can't always see what she's doing...

Congratulations! Your character has passed the enrollment process and you're cleared to begin playing. Essentially, this means you can get your art certed, make your character's journal, and most importantly start RPing. If you're a little lost then don't worry, this guide is here to point you in the right direction.

- If your character is a STUDENT, you may create a customized student pin for them. This is entirely optional (but fun!) special badge that is unique to your character's design! You can find more information about pins (also known as their emblem) here.

- Hallowen characters (Students & Horsemen) may bet their character certed here!

- Hunters may get their certs here!

- If you ever feel lost as a newbie, our many GMs are more than happy to one on one RP with you to help your character get acquainted. Send a PM to WE ARE HALLOWEEN and we can get you started this way as well. Otherwise, enjoy immersing yourself in the many RPS in TiH! It is all about discovery after all!

"Say it or I'll tell Arel you're the one who's been swiping his cider!"

The large, ornate mirror had been wheeled in to be installed as a new addition in the ghoul's bathroom of the main lobby office by two gnomes, who were using this as a fine excuse to loiter in the ladies room. They'd turned off the lights, and were standing creepily in front of the mirror, daring one another to call forth Bloody Mary. Urged on by the threat of exposure, the second gnome finally turned to the mirror, and started to chant the phrase. Over and over he chanted Bloody Mary, cringing as if waiting for something awful to appear.

The first gnome craned over his shoulder and stared. "Nothing's haaaappeniiing. SAY IT LOUDER!"

His scream was drowned out by the flush of a toilet, and the opening of a stall door. They froze where they stood, with the mirror placed between them and the stalls, but no one came.

A brief pause, and then, the first gnome found enough courage to bend forward, and whisper spitefully one last time into the mirror.

"Bloody Mary!"

A face appeared quite suddenly in the mirror, cast in dark and malevolent shadows, and a small, but angry little voice hissed out a reply. "What do you think you're doing?!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!"

As both gnomes ran screaming out of the bathroom, Professor Selene turned the lights back on, and stared at the two way mirror she'd just peered through with a disappointed frown."Well, I never!"
