Alex wasn't sure why. He wasn't sure how. He didn't even know when. One moment he was flying around the halls, seeking out a class he could join for educational reasons, and then there was... Fog. It was light at first, but thinking back on those first few moments, it was obvious.
As it grew, Alex became bewildered and filled with trepidation. This wasn't in the tour from Frosty! Frowning, the harpy kept pressing forward. That was when it appeared before him. The Haunted House.
Really, he ought to have turned back and left, but it was just too bizarre and amazing. Where had it come from? What was inside of it? Was there going to be loot? Alex walked through the door, and shuddered as it latched closed behind him. What had he gotten himself into? Sighing, the harpy continued to press forward, exploring the winding corridors, an unsettling sense of... of something overwhelming him.

Solia's journey in the haunted house was usually like this. Wandering pointlessly, getting lost. Finding the occasional trinket, the occasional minipet, broken things, new things- the house was ever changing and as she went down yet another hall, the sound of a door closing had her turning.
That was not a sound she'd made.
Curious, she followed it's echo, boots clicking on wood floors until she saw the trail ends of feathers. "Excuse me!" She called out, rushing forward. Ever the fool, not thinking to possible hostilities, to dangers.
"Hello?"
